  1. 90% of churches in the world preach of material wealth. The preacher can easily find supporting scripture of how God will bless us this year and even of how God will scatter those against our prosperity. Despite the few positive testimonies, the ratio of the rich and the poor does't change. Does the Bible talk of another kind of blessing apart from the one we know. Look at this example of what Elizabeth is saying to Mary. (Luke 1:42)“Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!” We all know Mary and Jesus were not blessed with material wealth but no other blessing is as well described as Mary's. After getting heavenly blessings we get get heavenly treasures. But Jesus brings another topic of storing our treasure in Mathew 6:19-20 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal. But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. As Christians, should we wait for the blessings of Jacob or should we wait together with Peter and all those who have forsaken all and followed Christ for our reward in Mathew 19:28?
