  1. I think the Catholic Church has strongly implied there are aliens.
  2. That is funny. Also the whole premise of this thread hits me as Old Covenant. New Covenant is we are sinner, and will always sin but if you believe Jesus took punishment for our sins we are indeed forgiven and freed. John 3:16.
  3. Thanks for your response it is very thoughtful and beautiful. The basis for me saying we can save our family through our faith in Jesus is Corinthians 7:14 but I understand how it could be taken a different way. 13And if a woman has an unbelieving husband and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. 14For the unbelieving husband is sanctified through his believing wife, and theunbelieving wife is sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would beunclean, but now they are holy.
  4. If Jesus didn't die on the cross for us, then you should indeed be worried; however, Jesus did die on the cross and not only took punishment for our sins but gave us his righteousness. I would suggest you rely on what was accomplished at the cross as your righteousness and use that to be confident in your standing with Jehovah. Our actions and thoughts will fail. I would think about how Jesus who knew no sin, took our sin on the cross and he was already punished for all of your sins including thoughts. I would suggest that the purpose of this Grace is to allow you to be close to Jehovah even when you are not holy in your actions and thoughts.
  5. I have started doing some videos, on various topics regarding reading the Bible through a "grace" perspective, whereas we rely on righteousness given to us and earned by Jesus' work on the Cross rather than our self-righteousness earned individually through action, thought, and etc. This is one of my most recent videos about the requirements of Confession with regards to Grace. I argue that it is impossible to confess every sin and that confession is meant more as a confession of our general sinful nature vs trying to confess every individual sin. Thank you for the opportunity to share this here, and I would appreciate any feedback or sharing. .
