Jesus is on the throne in my life.....

I would like to know what some of you think I'm supposed to do to address a very difficult situation in my life. Jesus healed many in his earthly ministry. But, I believe he is still working to heal those of us who have suffered emotionally. What I'm doing is applying something to my life that I believe God is blessing and helping me go through. Do some of you actually think I would depart from God's word for something humanistic?? God forbid!!!! God gives all of us freedom of choice. I choose, with God's help, to not allow old, hurtful memories enter my mind and cause me to stumble in my walk and life with the Lord. I WILL NOT be distracted anymore. MATTHEW 23:24 says: "You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel." So, before some of you come after me, without knowing the whole story, I hope you consider this part of Jesus' rebuke of the Pharisees. It fits this thread.

MATTHEW 5:31 “It has been said, ‘Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.' 32 But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her the victim of adultery, and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery." My wife left me without warning in July, 2016 to go commit adultery with her ex husband. She was unrepentant and still is. I spoke to my Pastor about divorce, and he said I had a solid, biblical reason according to this passage from Matthew. I am free to remarry.

FROM OUR BLAST FROM THE PAST DEPARTMENT: Tonight, a friend of mine came over here and gave me an early Christmas present: not so unusual, right? It was devotional book for men, I thought, "how sweet". But, my Christmas cheer turned quickly to shock. I began to notice something VERY familiar about the book.. IT HAD MY WRITTING INSIDE! AND a note in the front of it I wrote in 2007! I had sold the book to a guy in a garage sale in 2008. And my friend giving me the book knows the stranger that bought the book from me. God really does work in mysterious ways. WHAT ARE THE CHANCES I would see a book again I sold in 2008?

But, the same can be applied to anything pagan being practiced by Christians. My point is: As a Christian who has done his research, I reject your entire argument concerning Christmas. There's nothing "Pagan" about it.
