Infant "Baptism" How Do They Justify It?
New Member replied to Starise's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
To my mind, it is simply that Christian baptism, is baptism as ordained by Christ. Make disciples, baptizing them . . . disciples are followers who have been taught to follow and obey Jesus. That is not infants, and often also does not include many adults who call themselves Christians, regardless of denomination. -
I think there are two categories, the natural man, set on the flesh, and those who are chosen by God to be free to have there minds set on the things, of God, via being born again! Only those enabled by the Spirit, can truly seek and yield to God.

Official Worthy Pie for 2021 - the Nominees are . . .
New Member replied to Omegaman 3.0's topic in General Discussion
Cherry - Sweet, Tart, Pretty, Delicious, Very Traditional, enjoyed in Europe and North America. Since Worthy is an English language site, is seemed like it should be a contender. Often served with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, it is hard to beat. If it does not make it to the finals, I demand a recount! Make pies great again! -
Way, way to early to assume that Trump won't win. I am guessing that he will win. Hard for me to imagine, that as politically stupid as Americans are, that we are quite that stupid. I have to admit though that it is really strange, that anyone would think that Hillary, Biden, Bernie, AOC and others, should have a voice in American politics beyond their votes in the polls. The demonstrate a total lack of understanding and concern for what is good for America. It is odd to me, that anyone with an IQ over 70, would favor these people!

That is because it is not the people who nominate and choose the candidates, parties do that. Then it is only the elite in the parties. There are basically only two viable parties, in terms of realistic chances of getting a president elected. Those in the parties with that power and privilege, are too often being politicians whose interests are often tied to keeping and gaining power and other benefits, and see pleasing special interests, and lobbyists, as their keys to more power and re-election. As I said, we have politicians running, rarely do we see any statesmen running, men and women who consider the welfare of the people and of the country as most important. Once every few decades, we might see a statesman in the primaries, but the party elite make sure that they are not the nominees, even if, and perhaps especially if the people favor them. What eludes me is why on earth the Democrat party has decided to put forth such shoddy offerings. I suspect if they went more moderate, they would easily win the presidency in 2020. Instead, they have gone with leftists, when they could have taken a lot of the middle that will not get this way. However by trying to appease the nuts, they sure make decisions easier, and the choices clear. Politically, they do not need to be left, not even left of center, just left of the Republicans would do it I think.

Both are made from milk that's been cultured and allowed to ferment. Greek yogurt is just what you get when you take regular yogurt, plop it in some fine mesh cloth, and allow some of the liquid in it—whey, to be more precise—to slowly drain out, resulting in a thicker yogurt with less moisture. - from bonappetit.com

Sure enough, but the image file size could be reduced out of consideration, and posted in separate posts, so at least a person's computer can have a chance to catch up with the heavy load!

Wow, just wow! I have only watched the first two episodes so far, but I cannot wait to comment here, and to put this information to work with unbelieving family on Sunday! Thank you so much!!!

I do not want to be the discouraging critic, but could you please consider post Bible verse text? My text reader cannot read pictures, the graphics load all but crashes my computer, and the data load kills my phone plan limits! That is like 3 megabytes of files in a single post!

Not that I have ever heard of!

The mixture covenant practiced by confused Christians

Interesting. I do not know if I agree with all of that, but a certainly agree with a lot of it. I would have to reread it, and then think about it quite a while. I am choosing not to do that at this moment in time, but I want to say, that it is well considered and well written. Thank you for posting this!
