  1. December 21, 2018 President Donald Trump has decided to pull a significant number of troops from Afghanistan, a U.S. official told AFP on Thursday, December 21, a day after he announced a withdrawal from Syria. “That decision has been made. There will be a significant withdrawal,” the official told AFP on condition of anonymity. The United States first sent troops to Afghanistan in response to the September 11, 2001 attacks, and there are now around 14,000 U.S. troops in the country, working with NATO’s Resolute Support non-combat mission to train, advise and assist the Afghan security forces, or in separate counter-terrorism operations. More than 2,400 U.S. personnel have been killed in the conflict, and more than $900 billion has been spent. The news was first published by the Wall Street Journal which reported that more than 7,000 troops would be returning from Afghanistan; AP put the figure at up to half of the 14,000 currently deployed; CNN reported nearly 7,000 troops will be withdrawn; and Reuters reported that more than 5,000 troops would be withdrawn. https://thedefensepost.com/2018/12/21/trump-decides-significant-withdrawal-us-troops-afghanistan/
  2. Received this email from my children's school today, looks like the war has finally arrived in our Australian Christian schools here in Australia. The opposition government wants to outlaw or "amend/reform" our Christian faith so it doesn't offend the LGBT community and their children. Children are dear to us, and yes they need our protection, but they also deserve to be taught truth, We cannot allow diluting the word of God, which is the TRUTH, to accommodate and appease those who hold un-Godly views. I send my children to a Christian school for a Christian education, should we lose this battle then the word of God in our school will be compromised and heavily restricted so as not to offend others with differing beliefs. Dear Parents I’m sorry to be contacting you at this busy time of the year but we urgently need your help. You would have seen the coverage in the media over the last few weeks about proposals to amend the Sex Discrimination Act to protect students being expelled because of their sexuality. Firstly, I want to make clear, our school has not expelled a student on the basis of their “same sex attraction”. We have never sought the right to do so, we have only sought the ability to be a genuinely Christian school. The problem with the proposed changes to date that have sought to provide these protections is that they have far broader consequences. The advice we have received is that they would compromise our ability to – teach from a Biblical perspective, including about issues or morality, sexuality and sexual conduct – but not limited to them; enforce behavioural standards within our community consistent with our faith, values and beliefs. Earlier this week the Opposition introduced into the Senate legislation that again seeks to provide these protections but still has these same problems. The Government has since announced proposed amendments to that Opposition Bill which would address the most critical of our concerns. The Government’s amendments – ensure that, when determining if an action was 'reasonable' if indirect discrimination is alleged, the faith context of the school is considered provided that: the school has published a policy dealing with the issue, and the best interests of the child are considered. ensure that it is clear that faith-based schools can continue to teach 'in good faith in accordance with the doctrines, tenets, beliefs or teachings of a particular religion or creed' The Senate will be debating the Opposition Bill and the Government’s amendments on Monday, 3 December – with all debate to be finalised by 12:50pm. We are asking all parents and carers to contact the Senators in our state and encourage them to support the Government’s amendments as soon as possible – but certainly before 12 noon on Monday. At the same time, or no later than 12 noon on Tuesday 4 December, we are asking that you convey the same message to you Federal MP in the House of Representatives. Contact details for all Senators can be found here Contact details for all MPs can be found here Sample letters from parents or carers to use in corresponding with Senators and MPs are here. Once again, we are sorry to be asking this of you at this busy time of the year, but your support is vital if we are to remain an authentically Christian school.
  3. Some Democrats appear convinced Trump is a secret Russian agent, or else Moscow has dirt on him. If that's the case, he's the greatest waste of roubles Moscow has ever spent. President Trump has increased US defence spending, expelled Russian diplomats, fired missiles at Russia's Syrian ally and sold arms to Ukraine, which, along with Georgia, hopes to join Nato. So there's a glaring contradiction between what Trump says about Putin and what he actually does. What explains it? Is it sheer psychological attraction: two manly men drawn to each other, regardless of their strategic differences? Perhaps, but there's philosophy involved, too. Some conservatives now believe they have more in common with Russia's traditionalism than with the "suicidal liberalism" they see in the West. In Poland last year, Trump used the civilisation word a lot, adding: "The fundamental question of our time is whether the West has the will to survive." What he meant was that while Islamists threaten the West from the outside, liberals are eroding it from within, by destroying old values and even (a popular topic among civilizational conservatives) killing the family.
  4. Trump had enemies within the Intel community when he first came into office, that's no secret. Individuals within the FBI also attempted to thwart his winning the presidency. It's of little surprise he is dubious about trusting these agencies wholeheartedly. It unfortunately appears these agencies are also internally divided, many appeared to be left leaning Obama/Hillary supporters that wanted to stop Trump at all costs. As for Russia. I've seen zero evidence of collusion, or of election meddling etc. I've seen no watershed proof that all these accusations are proven or are beyond doubt. How long has the Mueller investigation been running? I'm still waiting for the bombshell concrete evidence that all the accusations are factual. Does that mean Russia had no part to play? No. They are certainly capable, so is China and a few others for that matter...but nothing has been proven after a lengthy period of time. On the other hand, there appears to be irrefutable evidence of FBI involvement in its attempt to ensure Trump didn't win, cover up's for Hillary's use of private servers, the Benghazi debacle and the list goes on.
  5. Here are a few examples, but without doubt there may be many more. Isaiah 7:14 Isaiah 9:6 Micah 5:2 Zechariah 9:9 Psalm 22:16-18 Isaiah 53:3-7 Isaiah 50:6 Zechariah 12:10 Isaiah 53:3-7 is especially unmistakable: “He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.”
  6. Enoch & Elijah are clear examples amongst other typology... Perhaps some of the strongest arguments in favor of a Pre-Tribulation or Pre-Seventieth Week of Daniel Rapture are found in the Old Testament. In the Old Testament we see "a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things" (Hebrews 10:1). Prophetic Types in the Old Testament The Holy Spirit explains that these Old Testament types are preserved for our learning: Bible students are well aware that there are numerous Old Testament types that foreshadow a New Testament fulfillment. A classic example is when Abraham took his son, his only son Isaac, whom he greatly loved, to the land of Moriah to offer him there as a sacrifice — concluding that God was able to raise him from the dead (Genesis 22; Hebrews 11:17-19). Abraham is a beautiful type of our heavenly Father, and Isaac, his beloved son, is a striking picture of Jesus, who willingly laid down His life on Mount Moriah 2,000 years later. Though the Rapture was hidden in part from Old Testament believers, the types found throughout foreshadow a future Rapture when God will remove His people prior to pouring out His wrath on a Christ-rejecting world. Let's now review some of these beautiful types that foreshadow the Rapture. The Noahic Flood In Noah's day there were those who passed through the flood (Noah and his family in the ark); there were those who perished in the flood (the unbelieving world); and there was Enoch who was "translated" or "caught up" before the judgment of God was poured out. Enoch walked with God (Genesis 5:24) and pleased Him (Hebrews 11:5), just as Christians who abide in Christ please God (1 John 3:22). Interestingly, from the time God told Noah to enter the ark, until the time when the waters of the flood were on the earth, God granted seven more days for the world to repent (Genesis 7:1-10). Perhaps this is a foreshadow of the final seven-year period culminating in the final judgment (Revelation 19:11-21)? The Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah In Lot's day, he and his family were "removed" before God rained down His judgment on Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19). God did not just "preserve" them through His wrath, He removed them prior to judgment. Jesus said that just before His return it would be like the days of Noah (Luke 17:26) and like the days of Lot (Luke 17:28). Judgment in Sodom could not occur until Lot was removed (Genesis 19:22)! Remarkably, "while [Lot] lingered, the [angels] took hold of his hand, his wife's hand, and the hands of his two daughters, the Lord being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city... Hurry, escape there. For I cannot do anything until you arrive there" (v. 16, 22). In other words, they were forcibly removed prior to judgment and judgment could not commence until they safely arrived in the new city! The Story of Joseph Joseph (a type of Christ in many ways) takes a Gentile bride before the 7 year famine begins (Genesis 41:45). Notice in the account of Joseph that after he received his Gentile bride, his brethren (the Israelites) and the entire world suffered a seven year famine (Genesis 41:54-57). During this time of famine many came to Joseph for food. Similarly, after Jesus receives His Bride, his brethren the Jews (and many in the world), will turn to the Lord Jesus for relief (Revelation 7). How fitting that the Great Tribulation is called "the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it" (Jeremiah 30:7). It is also referred to as "the time of the Gentiles" (Ezekiel 30:3), and many Gentiles will also be saved out of it (Revelation 7). The famine is a type of the Tribulation (Amos 8:11), and Egypt is a picture of the world. This account strongly suggests that Jesus will receive His bride before the 70th Week of Daniel — before the famine that will come upon the entire world. Rahab and the Jewish Spies In Joshua chapter 2, Rahab trusts the Lord and befriends the Jewish spies. By faith Rahab puts a scarlet thread in her window (a symbol of Christ's blood) and she and her family are "brought out" of Jericho before the city is burned with fire (Joshua 6). Rahab is a prostitute (Hebrews 11:31) and a Gentile woman (Joshua 2), yet she is found in the Messianic line (Matthew 1:5). Rahab is therefore a beautiful picture of the Church as the bride of Christ. Though formerly a prostitute, Rahab, by faith, was made clean and delivered from God's wrath. Amazingly, in this account, we again see seven days of warning preceding judgment (God's gracious delay to encourage repentance). The armies of God marched around the city six days, and on the seventh day they marched around the city seven times, and then the city was finally destroyed (Joshua 6). Abigail and David In 1 Samuel 25:39-42 Abigail is informed that King David (foreshadowing King Jesus) wants to take her as his bride. She immediately responds and "rose in haste" with five of her damsels to "depart" and go to David for the marriage. Compare this with Matthew 25:1-13 where five wise virgins who truly had oil went forth to meet the Bridegroom (Jesus) away from their dwelling place (earth). Interestingly, the name Abigail means "the Father's joy." Solomon's Song The Song of Solomon is an amazing picture of Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:29-32). In the Song of Solomon 2:8-13, the Bride (the Church) hears the voice of her Beloved (Jesus) coming for her. Then, in verses 10 and 13, the Bridegroom speaks and calls His bride to "Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." This is a beautiful foreshadow of our marriage and honeymoon in heaven! Isaiah's Hint Isaiah 26:20-21 also gives us a possible picture of the Rapture preceding the Tribulation: Apparently, believers are tucked away in Heaven before the Tribulation falls on the earth. Could this also apply to the Jews who hide away in Petra during the Tribulation? The Prophet Daniel In Daniel chapter 3, King Nebuchadnezzar (a type of the Antichrist, cf. Revelation 13) demands that the entire population bow down to his image. Daniel's three friends (Jews) are preserved through the fiery tribulation, but Daniel is nowhere to be found. Daniel was "ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief administrator over all the wise men of Babylon" (Daniel 2:48), yet he is missing from the account. Why? Daniel was apparently away. Might he be a type of the Church? Three times Daniel is called "greatly beloved" (Daniel 9:23; 10:11; 10:19). Zephaniah's Clue In Zephaniah 2:2-3 we read: According to this passage, believers will be hidden in the day of the Lord's anger (cf. Isaiah 26:20-21. See also: Zephaniah 1:7.) Malachi's Hint Malachi chapter 3 deals with the Day of the Lord. Interestingly, Malachi 3:18 implies two comings of the Messiah: "Then shall ye (believers) return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not." It becomes clear when we read the entire context of Malachi 3 that believers shall return to the earth. In order to return and discern, believers must have first been caught away to Heaven. Other Examples Isaac and Rebekah, as well as Ruth and Boaz, also provide beautiful pictures of Christ taking a Gentile bride — one who counts the cost and leaves their own family — but is not required to suffer through great tribulation or famine. Other examples could be expounded on, but these should be sufficient to show that Christians will be removed before God's wrath is poured out and most likely before the 70th Week of Daniel. http://www.lamblion.us/2012/07/the-rapture-in-old-testament.html
  7. Law enforcement officials admitted in court that there are looking into new charges against persons other than the shooter in the horrific Las Vegas massacre that took the lives of 58 people and left hundreds injured. The admission came during a courtroom hearing as a lawyer for various media outlets argued that law enforcement authorities should unseal search warrant documents to help the Las Vegas community heal from the attack. Nick Crosby, the lawyer representing the Las Vegas Metro Police, said that the information could not be released because additional suspects were still being investigated. “Without naming names,” asked the judge, “there are potential charges against other people, because of the ongoing investigation?” “Yes there are charges being investigated,” Crosby replied. It will be months before those investigations close When the judge asked how long it might take for the investigations to be closed, Crosby indicated that it could take as many as 60 days. But there is another option. If the lawyer for the Metro Police cannot prove to the judge that releasing sealed information would have adverse affects on ongoing investigations, the judge may rule against them as early as next week. Contradicting past reports The report appeared to contradict past statements to the media from the police about whether there were more suspects than Paddock, who killed himself in the Las Vegas hotel room as police were descending upon him. “Today is the first time we’ve heard there are additional suspects out there, this contradicts what they have been saying, [Sheriff] Lombardo has said there are no other suspects,” said media lawyer Maggie McCletchie. https://www.theblaze.com/news/2018/01/18/police-revelation-could-implode-lone-wolf-narrative-in-las-vegas-massacre
  8. Congressman Makes Claim About ‘Potential Terrorist Infiltration’ In Vegas Shooting, Offers No Evidence [VIDEO] Republican Pennsylvania Rep. Scott Perry appeared on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” Thursday and claimed that he has been “made aware” of “credible information regarding potential terrorist infiltration through the southern border” on the Las Vegas massacre. However, Rep. Perry offered no evidence to back up this claim. Perry said, “Recently I have been made aware of what I believe to be credible evidence, credible information regarding potential terrorist infiltration through the southern border regarding this incident.” Carlson asked “Terrorist…connections?” “Yes, sir,” Perry said. The Daily Caller co-founder asked, “So what’s the outline of that?” “Well, they could be–lets face it, ISIS twice before the attack, ISIS warned the United States that they would attack Las Vegas in June and August after the attack claimed responsibility four times. Meanwhile, the local law enforcement investigative services are telling us there is no terrorist connection–lone gunman, again, something is not adding up,” Perry replied. (RELATED: Five Huge Unanswered Questions About The Las Vegas Shooting) Carlson said, “Well, that’s part of my confusion.” The Fox host then turned to fellow guest Catherine Lombardo, an attorney for the victims of the Las Vegas shooting, and asked, “Catherine, can you just confirm that this investigation is still being overseen by state and local authorities rather than federal?” Lombardo said, “That’s right. The FBI and the Las Vegas metro police department have been conducting the investigation. We’ve seen no evidence of a terrorist attack, and I will ask with all due respect, congressman, unless have you specific evidence to back that up, it seems a bit irresponsible to make that allegation so, if you do, or make that assertion, if do you have any evidence of that, I’m asking you right now to share it with us and tell us what that is. My clients…” “Well, I’m not able…” Perry responded. “… my client, victims, all 22,000 people have been waiting and waiting and waiting for evidence,” Lombardo finished. Perry said, “We’ve all been waiting, and I’m waiting, too. Like I said, nothing adds up, but I’m just telling you, I have received what I feel to be and believe to be credible evidence of a possible terrorist nexus, and we’re gonna have to wait…” Lombardo asked “What is it? What is it?” “…until that situation develops,” Perry finished. (RELATED: Tucker Reveals Las Vegas Security Guard Left The Country Days After Shooting [VIDEO]) Perry also said during the interview that the National Counterterrorism Center should have a role in the investigation, stating, “If ISIS warns about an attack and then an attack occurs and claims responsibility after the fact, it seems to me that at a minimum, they should have some portion of the investigation to clearly debunk that claim and, yet, it hasn’t happened.” dailycaller.com/2018/01/18/perry-potential-terrorist-las-vegas/
  9. Isaiah 53: ‘Forbidden’ Chapter in the Tanakh :: By Geri Ungurean Published on: January 7, 2018January 8, 2018 by RRadmin7 Category:General Articles, Geri Ungurean After I was saved in 1983, I called a Messianic Congregation in my area and spoke to a lovely lady – a fellow Jewish Christian. She was so excited over my coming to know Yeshua as my Savior! We must have talked for well over an hour, but the thing I remember so vividly was when she brought up Isaiah 53. She asked if I had ever read that portion of Scripture. I had not – but promised that I would after we hung up. To say that I was shocked would be a gross understatement. I remember reading the words over and over. I wondered why I had never heard this in my synagogue. It was a clear picture of our Redeemer – Yeshua – and why He went to that Cross to suffer and die. I’m sure that most of the readers of this article have read Isaiah 53 numerous times. But for those who have not – I am placing it here: *All bolded words are for emphasis for the reader. “Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. “He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. “Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. “All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. “He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth. “He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken. “And they made His grave with the wicked— But with the rich at His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was any deceit in His mouth. “Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand. “He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities. “Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, And He shall divide the spoil with the strong, Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors” (Isaiah 53: 1-12). Perhaps you have Jewish friends for whom you are praying. Showing them this passage of Scripture is very powerful! But please pray for the Lord to show you the right time to do this. From oneforisrael.org https://www.oneforisrael.org/bible-based-teaching-from-israel/inescapable-truth-isaiah-53/ Isaiah 53 Forbidden Chapter Video < click here to view video Isaiah 53 – The Forbidden Chapter The 17th century Jewish historian, Raphael Levi, admitted that long ago the rabbis used to read Isaiah 53 in synagogues, but after the chapter caused “arguments and great confusion” the rabbis decided that the simplest thing would be to just take that prophecy out of the Haftarah readings in synagogues. That’s why today, when we read Isaiah 52, we stop in the middle of the chapter; and the week after we jump straight to Isaiah 54. What happened to Isaiah 53, you might be wondering? That is exactly what this article is about. In the Bible, in the book of Isaiah chapter 53, the prophet prophesies about the Messiah that he would be rejected by his people, suffer and die in agony, and that God would see his suffering and death as an atonement for the sins of humanity. Isaiah lived and prophesied about 700 BCE. According to his prophecy in chapter 53, the leaders of Israel would recognize they had made a mistake at the end of days when they rejected the Messiah, so Isaiah put the prophecy in past tense; and because he saw himself as part of the people of Israel, he used third person plural (we). At the end of chapter 52, Isaiah writes an introduction to chapter 53: “Behold, my servant shall prosper…” The term “servant” is supposed to connect back to sections earlier in the book that speak of “the Servant of the Lord” (for example, in chapters 42, 49 and 50, where the Messiah is described as a servant that suffers). “He will be high and lifted up and greatly exalted.” This is to emphasize the eminence of the Messiah who would in fact rise from the dead, ascend to the heavens and sit next to the Father. His actions would give him a higher status than every human king or ruler. “Just as many were appalled at You—His appearance was disfigured more than any man, His form more than the sons of men.” Before the Messiah is exalted he would suffer and be humiliated. His body would be abused and tortured so badly that he would be completely disfigured and unrecognizable. “So He will sprinkle many nations. Kings will shut their mouths because of Him, for what had not been told them they will see, and what they had not heard they will perceive.” Despite the horrific suffering, the day would come when even kings would come to look to him with reverence. And now, let’s dive into chapter 53 itself… “Who has believed our report?” This is describing the lack of faith among the people of Israel who don’t believe what they’ve heard. “To whom is the arm of Adonai revealed?” Isaiah calls the Messiah the “Arm of the Lord.” Earlier, in chapter 40, Isaiah declares that the “Arm of the Lord” would rule for him. In chapter 51 the Gentiles put their hope in the “Arm of the Lord,” and the “Arm of the Lord” would redeem. In chapter 52 the “Arm of the Lord” brings salvation. Now, in 53, Isaiah reveals to us that the “Arm of the Lord” is in fact the Messiah. The Messiah is very much part of God himself. “For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, like a root out of dry ground. He had no form or majesty that we should look at Him, nor beauty that we should desire Him.” He was a shoot in spiritually dry ground – there had been no word from God for 400 years. “He had no beauty that we should desire Him.” He was not appealing to us. We didn’t want him. His appearance wasn’t particularly glorious or impressive, and the way he showed up didn’t cause people to desire him. In contrast to what rabbinic Halacha teaches today, according to this prophecy, the Messiah would not be born to a prestigious rabbinic family or grow up in the grand residences of wealthy rabbis. We can say with near certainty that the external appearance of the Messiah was nothing extraordinary at all. “He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief, One from whom people hide their faces. He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.” The life of the Messiah was characterized by pain, rejection and suffering. He didn’t get the honor due to the Messiah, but was despised and rejected by the leaders of his people. We considered him some kind of social misfit – someone we might hide our faces from when we pass someone on the street that we are embarrassed to see. We didn’t think he was the Messiah. We didn’t even register that it could be him. “Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our pains. Yet we esteemed Him stricken, struck by God, and afflicted.” The Messiah suffered in our place – he carried our sicknesses, our suffering, our pain… and the sins we committed, while our people – while we – thought he was being punished, and that his suffering was God’s punishment for sins that he himself had committed. We didn’t understand that it was for OUR sin. “But He was pierced because of our transgressions, crushed because of our iniquities. The chastisement for our shalom was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.” The Hebrew says wounded, pierced. He died. Like someone who has fallen wounded, or someone perforated with bullets – not for any fault of his own, but it was our wrongdoing. He was crushed because of our iniquities, our sins – the punishment and discipline we deserved went to him. The “stripes” are hard blows that leave marks, and by his scars we are healed. In exactly this way, hundreds of years later, the prophecy was fulfilled. Yeshua went to the cross in order to take the death we deserved. “We all like sheep have gone astray. Each of us turned to his own way. So Adonai has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” The Hebrew talks of going astray like sheep wander off and get lost. We all, people of Israel, ignored him and went on our way; but despite this, God put all our sin and iniquity on him – on the Messiah. “He was oppressed and He was afflicted yet He did not open His mouth. Like a lamb led to the slaughter, like a sheep before its shearers is silent, so He did not open His mouth.” The Hebrew says he was exploited, abused… his dignity and right to a fair trial were taken from him. The Hebrew says he was afflicted – tortured – but he didn’t open his mouth. This shows that he did not resist his unjust sentence. He didn’t try to rebel or escape, and he didn’t take legal representation in spite of the fact he was facing a death sentence; but he was led like a sheep to the slaughter, or to be sheared without resisting the injustices being done to him. “Because of oppression and judgment He was taken away. As for His generation, who considered? For He was cut off from the land of the living, for the transgression of my people— the stroke was theirs.” They arrested him and took him to trial. As a result of the trial he was “cut off from the land of the living”. A death sentence. Not for his own crimes, but those of his people. In the Scriptures, “My people” always means the people of Israel. The Messiah would die, not for his own sin, but for the sin of his people – the people who should be taking the punishment for their own sins – but the Messiah took it upon himself. He is the one who died. His generation wouldn’t care to bring him up in conversation, but would rather sweep his existence under the carpet. So for the last 2,000 years, Yeshua the Messiah has been the best kept secret in Judaism; and this is precisely why he was labeled “Yeshu” in Judaism, which stands for “May his name and memory be blotted out.” “His grave was given with the wicked, and by a rich man in His death, though He had done no violence, nor was there any deceit in His mouth.” Even though he was taken out to be executed like a criminal, even though he did nothing wrong, and never lied, in his death he was to be buried in the fancy tomb of a rich man. Yeshua really was killed on the cross and was buried in the grave of a rich man, a member of the Sanhedrin, Joseph of Arimathea. It’s a clear symbol of the ironic situation in which the Messiah receives honor for the noblest deed of them all – taking the death sentence we deserve on himself. “Yet it pleased Adonai to bruise Him. He caused Him to suffer. If He makes His soul a guilt offering, He will see His offspring, He will prolong His days, and the will of Adonai will succeed by His hand.” So who is responsible for the death of the Messiah? Is it “the Jews” as so many Catholics have accused us of in the past? Maybe the Romans? They were the ones who actually crucified him? No. “God was pleased to bruise him.” God is the only one able to forgive and bring salvation to the world, and he turned himself into a sacrifice. What kind of sacrifice? A guilt offering. The death of the Messiah was no accident – God used his own stiff-necked people as priests in order to bring about the forgiveness of sins, not only for his people Israel, but for the whole of humanity. In contrast to the Yom Kippur sacrifice, which was only valid until the following year and just ‘covered over’ sin, the atonement of the Messiah took away our sin once and for all! None of us as human beings are perfect – we are not able to be that perfect sacrifice. Only God himself could do that. After that comes a very interesting statement: “He will see His offspring, He will prolong His days.” In spite of the fact that he would be killed, he would also prolong his days. He would rise again from the dead and would see the “fruit of his seed” planted in his resurrection. By the way, we also have a video on the resurrection of Yeshua. “As a result of the anguish of His soul He will see it and be satisfied by His knowledge. The Righteous One, My Servant will make many righteous and He will bear their iniquities.” The Messiah would see and be satisfied by his labor, because many would be made righteous by the suffering he endured as a righteous man when he took on himself the sins and iniquities of many. All who recognize him as the Messiah will be his “seed” in a spiritual sense. “Therefore I will give Him a portion with the great, and He will divide the spoil with the mighty— because He poured out His soul to death, and was counted with transgressors. For He bore the sin of many, and interceded for the transgressors.” The Messiah was the one interceding for us, an advocate for us as sinners before a holy God. The Messiah took on his shoulders the sin of all who believe in him. It’s an encouraging prophecy of hope and a future. God is not just interested in forgiveness expressed in words, but also demonstrated in actions. That’s why he took on the appearance of a servant and took the punishment that we deserve on himself. Read rest of article here: https://www.oneforisrael.org/bible-based-teaching-from-israel/inescapable-truth-isaiah-53/ Isaiah 53 may be the most compelling and powerful source from the Word of God to the unbelieving Jew. No wonder I never heard this chapter of Isaiah in my synagogue! Our rabbi did not stress reading the Tanakh (the Old Testament). The leaders in the synagogue would show us the most important passages to read (according to them). This reminds me of the Catholic Church! I have to wonder how many of my people came to a saving knowledge of Yeshua because of Isaiah 53. I have read that some rabbis tore out this part of Scripture to avoid any confrontation or demands for explanation from members of their congregation. I believe that a Jew who was truly searching for Truth about the Messiah, quickly realized that a chapter of Isaiah was missing. This would only encourage the inquisitive Jew to search out Isaiah 53! I am certain that a serious student of the Tanakh would have been shocked; and it most likely would have caused them to further search the Scriptures, and perhaps even read the New Testament out of curiosity! God makes no mistakes. Isaiah 53 is part of the Old Testament – just as our Lord ordained it to be. This passage of Scripture is like a diamond sitting in plain sight, but overlooked by most of the Jewish people for centuries. Romans 11 As we read this chapter of Romans, it is clear that the partial hardening of the Jewish people towards Yeshua was instrumental in opening up heaven to believing Gentiles. It also says that my people will become jealous of the Gentiles and their relationship with God. I believe that we are seeing this clearly today. This Scripture always made me understand that Jesus did not just come for His people Israel – but ultimately for the whole world: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (Genesis 12:1-3) (emphasis added). The Lord is Good and True and Righteous; and His Word never changes! Shalom b’Yeshua MARANATHA! https://grandmageri422.me/author/gerilovesyeshua/
  10. Oprah wins Hollywood, thrills media crackpots If Trump is unfit as they say, he must be crazy to lower taxes, get the economy booming, and place Jerusalem in the right hands…Right? Contact Editor Jack Engelhard, 09/01/18 08:33 Share For more than a year now, the media’s been trying to unseat President Trump by craftily insinuating that he colluded with Russia to win the White House. They’ve been at it without success, like Einstein’s definition of insanity – doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. In Trump’s case, the result remains the same, nada, no collusion, which raises the question – who you calling crazy? That point addresses all the hoopla sparked by former Trump aide Steve Bannon who colluded with author Michael Wolff to accuse Trump of being mentally unfit for office in the book “Fire and Fury.” But before tracking Trump’s mental condition, the media may want to undergo its own psychiatric evaluation. It appears that from the day Trump stepped off the elevator to announce his candidacy, we have all watched editors and reporters lose their minds. I covered that in a column the other day – “Who’s Afraid of Michael Wolff? Not Trump” – but I never expected the media to still be going bananas over that book -- and still relishing, as they do, every time they can smirk and cackle at their attempt to turn our president into a laughingstock. Instead of responsible reporting, they offer ridicule. Over the week, nine out of 10 questions at the White House Briefing were about Trump’s fitness. That’s their OCD, not his – Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. This is some crack-up on the part of the media. They’ve no tolerance for a president who is not Obama and now, after the Golden Globes -- Oprah. Oprah’s “presidential” speech in Hollywood Sunday night set Liberals to dreaming of an Obama third term -- but as a woman. They lapped it up from Oprah; every single cliché and platitude. Trump should be so lucky with the elites. Most likely Trump irritates the Left because all his moves domestically and internationally are motivated by love of country. Which was never Obama’s forte’. If Trump is unfit as they say, he must be crazy to lower taxes, get the economy booming, and place Jerusalem in the right hands…Right? As for me, I’ll take insanity like that any day. I like a patriotic leader, especially one so successful. I’m irrational that way. Was Chris Matthews rational when he announced that he gets a “thrill up his leg” each time Obama speaks? That was some time ago, but he’s still on MSNBC. He wasn’t carried off to the loony bin. This would have happened if Hannity said that about Trump. By my reckoning, The New York Times was first to crack up…and over there they still won’t let a day go by without some mention of Trump and Russia in the same headline, even if there’s no there there…no connection, no collusion, the editors just doing it from force of habit…again and again and again. Same result. Who are THEY calling crazy? What about “Morning Joe” and his girlfriend – the two MSNBC lovebirds who go bonkers over everything Trump says or does? At CNN – those people really do need to get their heads examined. Over there it’s a carnival of Trump bashing. Get Trump on ANYTHING. The Russia thing is a failure…next; let’s try the insanity offense. But that is just the latest trick from the media. Get Trump on ANYTHING. The Russia thing is a failure…next; let’s try the insanity offense. Overall there’s been nothing to show, from any of them, except for an incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. The media find no fault in Trump except for whatever voices they hear in their heads, which is no comfort to America. We need a media that is fair and BALANCED, which brings us to Fox News, ordinarily a sound group of people, though Shepard Smith – I don’t know about him. http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Articles/Article.aspx/21531
  11. Soldier used a spade to decapitate ISIS jihadist during Afghanistan gun battle Jan 7, 2018 12:36 pm A British soldier is credited with using a spade to decapitate an Islamic State terrorist during an ambush in eastern Afghanistan, according to published reports. What happened? During a fierce, six-hour gun battle, the veteran sergeant reportedly cut off the gunman’s head just as a Special Air Service unit ran low on ammunition, according to the Daily Mail. After killing him, the soldier used the jihadi’s own weapon to kill more ISIS members, according to the report. U.S. troops soon moved in to help rescue the SAS soldiers. The SAS unit was forced to take cover in a farm while under fire from Islamic State gunmen, reports said. They started to run low on bullets and radioed their base for support, but could not tell if their message was received. The soldiers then reportedly agreed to fight to the death rather than face capture. They knew that being captured would mean torture and a filmed execution. The jihadis starting closing in as the SAS soldiers began running out of ammo, reports said. The SAS soldiers decided to defend themselves by using rifles as clubs and grenades, if necessary. And that’s when one of them killed a jihadi with a spade. How did U.S. military assist? Nearly one-half of the SAS unit had run out of ammunition as two U.S. Apache helicopter gunships appeared and forced the insurgents to withdraw, the Daily Star reported. A U.S. Chinook soon followed and rescued them. The battle between the SAS and former Taliban members happened six weeks ago, according to reports. Both the Islamic State and the Taliban are gaining ground in Afghanistan. But they see themselves as enemies because of their different ideological views and goals, the Daily Mail reported. British military expects to double its SAS soldiers in Afghanistan to about 100, reports said. http://www.theblaze.com/news/2018/01/07/solider-used-a-spade-to-decapitate-isis-jihadist-during-afghanistan-gun-battle
  12. Interesting point, had never thought about it that way. I'm sceptical about the whole UFO thing to be honest, and or demons flying these things around.
  13. If these purported aliens are demons that are flying around, then in all seriousness where do they build these "Physical" workable spaceships/flying saucers?
