  1. Josah

    Hell

Are people being tortured in hell right now or are the souls awaiting the day of judgment?
  2. IMO, it is only okay to watch or see death if God told you to kill someone (the Canaanites) or if you are being executed alongside other people or if you are with a loved one which is about to pass away or if you are witnessing a fatal accident or murder.
  3. i have taken great steps to end the deception thankfully the experience was not too traumatic
  4. you are right i am sorry thank you for your warning
  5. Yes, gloss over all the other scripture which indicates that there is a good form of deceit and a bad form. Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. If some deceit is vain it naturally follows that some decent is not vain. If some deceit is not vain then it follows that such a deceit can advance the Kingdom of God. This is because ALL earthly things are VANITIES OF VANITIES... but that which advances the Kingdom of God is not in VANITY. Why does the Bible use serpents in this example? The serpent in the garden of Eve was WISE. How was the serpent in the garden of Eve WISE? The serpent was WISE through its DECEPTION. The serpent did not lie, the serpent deceived, and deception always has a truth in it. Wouldn't you agree that to be able to deceive is to be wise? In other words, wouldn't you say that only a wise thing could make someone think that a certain thing is true when it is not true, but at the same time, provide a truth, only, the truth that is uttered takes the form of another meaning for that other person?
  6. 1. You CONFLATED lying with deceit... there is a big difference. 2. My tongue does not plot destruction, it plots CONSTRUCTION. 3. Deceit can have a difference in form and degree, adultery, etc, cannot... To prove point, Jesus demonstrated that theft can sometimes be fine, for example, Jesus taught that it was fine to eat some food from another person's 'farm' if you needed it... so obviously, there is a difference in degree for some of the things which we are instructed to desist from doing... at its lowest degree, theft is fine and good, likewise, deceit, in its lowest degree, and in pursuit of righteousness, is fine and good. 4. Deceit does have truth though, again, you conflate deceit with the absence of truth, the practice of deceit and the uttering of truths are not mutually exclusive, again, lying and employing deceit is not the same. 5. The Kingdom of God can advance through several means... who are you to determine how and how not the Kingdom of God can advance? Oh right, you are in no place to determine how and how not it advances, the Bible determines, but ultimately, God is the final arbitrator as to how His Kingdom is to advance. You are yet to provide any scripture which demonstrates that my form of deception is inconsistent with Biblical teachings. Yet, I have provided numerous examples and proofs and disproofs.
  7. is it wrong to simultaneously: deceive that which hates you? deceive for the maintenance of peace? deceive for the advancement of the Kingdom of God? deceive to better yourself and many many others? OF COURSE NOT.
  8. 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
  9. I am not PROPHESYING WHEN I USE DECEIT Deceit (in my circumstances) is necessary
  10. I find it funny that it says "Who committed no sin" and then mentions "nor was deceit found in His mouth" Why: because it is essentially implying that deceit is undesirable but it is not necessarily a sin. in essence, it is saying that deceit is an undesirability set apart from sin... It also creates some expectation that deceit is a feasible tool for navigating certain difficulties it bothers to mention that deceit was not found in his mouth, further implying that sinlessness and the practice of deceit are entirely possible. anyways, it seems the form of deceit is what is most important... Jeremiah 9:8-9 "Their tongue is a deadly arrow; It speaks deceit; With his mouth one speaks peace to his neighbor, But inwardly he sets an ambush for him. "Shall I not punish them for these things?" declares the LORD. "On a nation such as this Shall I not avenge Myself? Psalm 119:118 World English BibleYou reject all those who stray from your statutes, for their deceit is in vain. 118You have rejected all those who wander from Your statutes, For their deceitfulness is useless. Further implying that there is a good form of deceit and that there is a bad form of deceit. 10For, “Whoever would lovelife and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech. this verse is interesting, but again, deceit can be a reflection of our circumstances, if deceit is being employed then that would mean you are not well poised in to "see good days" i must certainly am not well poised to "see good days" deceit is a necessary condition for the advancement of the Kingdom of God New Living Translation (NEW WORLD ORDER translation)You will destroy those who tell lies. The LORD detests murderers and deceivers. Jubilee Bible 2000Thou shalt destroy those that speak lies: the LORD will abominate the bloody and deceitful man. Darby Bible TranslationThou wilt destroy them that speak lies: Jehovah abhorreth a man of blood and deceit. American Standard VersionThou wilt destroy them that speak lies: Jehovah abhorreth the blood-thirsty and deceitful man. CLEARLY, this is saying that a man which is both BLOOD-THIRSTY and DECEITFUL is an abomination to the LORD. I could never see myself killing someone unjustly, nor have I ever killed someone unjustly, or justly, for that matter. The point is this: deceit on its own is not bad, as the NEW WORLD ORDER translation might have you think. AMEN.
  11. Reword: We use deception to navigate around that corrupt authority so as to advance the Kingdom of God.
  12. Thank you so much for this... God bless your soul, Amen.
  13. If we are deceiving a corrupt thing to advance the Kingdom of God are we justified in His eyes? Matthew 10:16 "Pay attention, now! I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. So be as cunning as serpents and as innocent as doves. Galations 1:10 For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ. Ephesians 6:12 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world's darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
