  1. You must have read it because I already posted it. It is the unfaithful servant. read Matt 24 the last 3 verses. You don't like it because it does not fly with your theology. However Jesus is the truth and cannot lie.
  2. Who was Jesus speaking to in Matt 24 ? Was it not to the disciples? weren't they asking about the things of the end which was in the future. Jesus was speaking figuratively to the present-day believers about the future church that they would be teaching.
  3. Well put. Rebellion is to fall back into darkness. We must be willing to come out of the darkness to receive His grace.
  4. Yes is sounds that way, but I am not going to counter Jesus. You might also recall Jesus saying "Not all who say Lord Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but those who do the will of the Father." Perhaps we should pray about these things.
  5. So you believe one can still be saved and live in sin? Sounds like you do even though there are warnings directly to Christians saying living in sin will prevent them from going to Heaven unless of course they repent and turn away from their sin. This deserves a direct answer that Jesus stated himself in Matt 24: 48-51. It doesn't get more plain this. And if that evil servant shall say in his heart my Lord delayith His coming; and shall begin to smite his fellow servants, and begin and to eat and drink with the drunken, the Lord of that servant shall come in a day he looketh not for Him and in an hour he is not aware of, and shall cut him asunder, and shall appoint him his portion with the hypocrites : there shall be weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth.
  6. Have you ever wondered How the Lord sees His modern-day church looking down from above being a multitude of systems, orders, denominations, beliefs, ideals, doctrines, and many mixed with worldliness ? How will He know who His true bride is? Will he have a favorite? How will you know which church to attend? This might be the most difficult time of your life. Of course we want the church that makes us feel the most idealistically comfortable. Has Christianity become just another religion amongst many? Should we be Catholic or Protestant? Is this not confusion? I Do not believe he will find His bride in any of this, But He will find His bride amongst them. So yes choose your church wisely letting the Holy Spirit be your guide. Know this that we are first His bride personally. God bless
  7. Sorry I may have had you mixed up with some one else. thank you for your impute.
  8. Sir I was not asking you to confess any certain sins to me or anyone here. I myself confess my sins to the Lord only. I only wanted you to acknowledge that we do indeed fall short and need to go to the Lord with it to receive His grace.
  9. Yes they are, but how do we obtain this wonderful grace. Do we not have to acknowledge something so we are able to receive it. Come on now. Don't sell it short
  10. Yes but 1st John 1: 8-9 will do fine. "If we say have sin we lie and the truth is not in us, but if we confess our sins he is just to forgive us." God bless Oh yes There is Hebress 3: 15-16 For we have not a High Priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet with out sin. Let us then come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in our time of need.
  11. Yes I know Jesus is our advocate. You are notanswering my question. Of course you don't have answer.
  12. Are you talking of the rapture being the pre tribulation Rapture. Can you clarify? Can you re-fraise your opening sentence, "without qualification"?
  13. Hello, I am talking of needing forgiveness. Have you ever fallen short and needed The Lords forgiveness after salvation?
  14. When we do not live in the free world we may find our faith in Christ will be despised by our family.
  15. Yes the Lord is patient and long suffering beyond our understanding when grace is all we have.
  16. After becoming a believer have you fallen? Have your thoughts of having hope turned to hopeless and you can no longer stand? If Jesus is our only hope then he is our hope even when we fall. To where else can we go ? We have to turn to our hope in Christ even if we fall a thousand times. I have read the 51st Psalm of David many times. It is a Psalm of hope and restoration. There are many scripture we can turn to for renewed strength. Pray Now and rejoice. God bless you all.
  17. If a believer being an ex-alcoholic has a really bad day and finds himself going to a bar for a drink is he guilty of willfull sin?
  18. As more Christians have been speaking out against LGBTQ so has persecution of Christians increased. Jobs are at risk. Everyday affiliations are at risk. When will our lives be at risk? When will churches be at risk? These things and more are real threats as time goes forward. Are you ready?
  19. Steward, what are you trying to reflect with these two scripture? I believe that if we are tempted and have a fall that this does not mean that we are not of the spirit. We must take in the whole of scripture. Satan knows our weakness and uses it against us. We overcome satan when we confess our sins to Christ who is just to forgive us.
  20. Not at all. Shall we forgive our brother 7 times? No but 70 times 7. I believe This is not really held to 70 times 7 but even far more. However this is out of the box.
  21. I don't believe the Lord will put in a box. If nothing is impossible for God then He would also be able to have compassion for the weak who struggle with the flesh. Only the Lord knows the heart and soul of a man. Therefore the Lord is a perfect judge. 1John 1: 8-9 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
  22. Billy Has ministered to many other leaders also. However I think he wanted to convert them and not seeing their politics. Most governments are corrupt in one form or another. the world at large is antichrist. How can the church have respect for it?
  23. You might try reading the scripture more and what it says These misters have lost there sight. If Iam wrong about Billy then He was wrong also.
  24. In the early days of Billy Graham he did not look to politics. I'm sorry That His son Franklin took this path. Jesus said in His prayer for the disciples. John 17:9 I pray for them (the disciples), I pray not for the world. Jesus was never a politician nor did he tell His followers to be. Rev 18 we are commanded to come of the world (Babylon and its systems) and be not partakers of her sins. While we are not in the world we are not of it.
