You guys check out the part of church history when the Catholic Church was killing everyone? ?

Why does this apparently loving Christian god allow such pain and suffering? My father has suffered from a horrible debilitating chronic illness for 20 years so I became independent and mature at a young age. I am in college now and have yet to hear a sufficient answer to my question. Countless people die everyday from starvation and illness where is god to be found during their time of need? Why would some omniscient being create us even though he knew we would rebel and sin because he apparently is supposed to know everything. Does this Christian god enjoy watching his own creation suffer and try and cope with the daily hardships of life?

Why do you christians blindly follow this religion? I was born into a very conservative religious family etc. I didn't see the other side until I began reading and attending medical school. People simply adopt the current religion that is dominate in their society and assimilate into the religious social circle within their local community for reasons like mental coping mechanism, socialization, and using the church as a platform to promote their own agenda e.g. business connections etc. If you christians were born in another country that had Buddhism as the dominate religion you would all be practicing monks right now meditating. Think critically about the world and form your own perspectives in life. Do not be afraid to accept that we truely do not know why or how all of this got here. The human experience is tough but beautiful when you embrace it and actively seek logical answers to life's most perplexing questions.
