  1. I'd say the temptation would be very strong. However, it would also be a test to see if you are as committed to saving yourselves for marriage as you claim. Isn't there a guest bedroom she can stay in? Do you have a pull out couch? One that turns into a bed? How long is she staying? Why not put her up at a hotel? I've slept with a man I'm not married to when I was young. Very early 20's. Nothing happened. Well, we talked until we fell asleep but that was it. If there is no place else for her to sleep sure, offer her your bed. She knows she's being invited to your house. If she wanted not to be in a situation of temptation she could easily get herself a hotel room. May God guide you.
  2. You may wish to read Ephesians 4. What would we be if we are in Christ and have an evil mind? What would Jesus have transformed in us were we to retain what you call an evil mind. And this passage as well is helpful. I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:1–2) That is excerpted from this article. The Renewed Mind and How to Have It
  3. Here's the bill at the congressional website HR4760 If you click CTRL F on your keyboard at that site you can find keywords of interest that pertain to the bill. As in, biometric. The first result when I did this is in section 2106 Doing that, using that keyword to search via CTRL F and the word, biometric, I found 51 hits. All of this is for national security presumably. The thing about any government is they can create the problem so as to then claim it necessary to draft a law that solves the problem. That can be why it seems like government prior to Trump enabled illegal immigration and in some cases the subsequent terrorist acts that took place due to illegals or, to those who traveled to known terrorist states, being allowed back into this country unimpeded by law enforcement at their point of entry. I.E. Airports, ship ports. I've not read every part but I don't think , if there is a mandate for an ID implant chip so as to buy , sell, or trade, that American's will comply as easily as would be presumed.
  4. Good points. Train up a child in the way they should go....the dark side has its agenda too. Well said men. That goes to the motive for all the dark occult trash programming that's coming on TV now. Likely if it was checked out that programming would outdo wholesome programming on major network television stations. It's all part of the pattern of falseness and fallen spirits. The politic and worldly laws sustain the right of sin to overcome even opinion about it, and meanwhile the dark occult is programmed literally more and more into impressionable young minds growing into a future where it is politically correct to stay quiet for fear of punishment. PC being fascism posing as manners. (Carlin) Yes, very good points.
  5. I'm recalling Jesus challenging the men that wanted to stone Mary. "He who is without sin cast the first stone." Who here would have their backsides start to smolder in that scenario? What Globalists have planned for this world is no laughing matter. In fact when they're so open about it to any degree it should tell us they're smuggly assured of their power to proceed unfettered by any presumed resistance.
  6. I don't think dismissing his message is wise. Those in the UN are part of the background of all that happens in the worlds governments. And by consequence to those nations people.
  7. “A disciple is not greater than his teacher, but everyone when fully trained will be like his teacher” (Luke 6:40).
  8. I ran across an atheist once who told me his hobby was to troll Christian websites while pretending to be Christian. He was an alcoholic you see, and he created a signature so as to mock those of faith while also touting his favorite self-destructive elixir. Beer. Or, dark ale to be precise. He had a signature featuring a lot of different brands in bottles. And beneath the array he printed, SIN BOLDLY! No moderators ever made him remove that. A year after we met I found he'd passed on from, you guessed it, liver cancer. That St.Augustine quote reminded me of John and how he'd have defended his choice of signature using early church fathers had he known of them. I think we do live as we please in part in this world and yet being we're guided to all truth by the indwelling spirit of God, we also live well aware of the righteous path we are to take in any given situation. We are not perfect and we will from time to time be led to respond as the world responds. As in, someone acts the callous butt and having had enough we respond and tell them off. Perhaps though one way to look at that is it is God's leading us to communicate to someone in a language they understand. And perhaps that response will lead them to better themselves. God knows all there is to know from beginning to end. All we can do, I believe, is our best and let God decide if it is good enough.
  9. I don't think I'd worry overmuch about someone who ascribes to a philosophy of looking toward the best within humanity. I'd instead concern myself with how I am perceived when I ascribe myself as looking to be like Christ. And upon reflection of my actions ask if I've demonstrated a true and righteous example. On and off the Net.
  10. You know you've hit the mark when you witness taking umbrage that of which the wisdom describes. God knows, that's a great observation brother. Well said!
  11. Remember the phrase, carbon footprint? Carbon tax has been discussed by countries all over the world. See link
  12. I think if anyone was in doubt it was a money making scheme to exploit fear mongers, the doubt was assuaged by the claim that cow farts contributed to not only global warming, but the ozone layer deterioration. I think someone came up with that while having a steak dinner. And nearly laughed themselves into choking spasms thinking how far that new line would travel into the land of meme's.
