Some great Law teaching there .....After the Cross when that “ weak” law died ( which was a good thing, because it had no power to save anybody) we became saved by hearing and believing Paul’s Gospel given to him by Jesus......no adding to it.....even with good stuff like Repentance ......if one goes from not believing the Gospel to believing the Gospel He has undergone the “ change of mind” type of Repentance that God demands.That will get The Holy Spirit in a person and then we will automatically repent when we do wrong— NOT that one- time Repentance That got you saved.The on -going , perhaps daily repentance of wrong- doing and guilt restores a temporary strained relationship. It’s a part of the Sanctification process that make you more like Jesus— that being the ultimate point that God will get you to.Dont confuse the different types of repentance if you want to a avoid needless trouble .God bless

Anybody with any sense would reject “ religion” . They need to here the Truth of the Gospel— The Kyrptonite of Religion .

He will not force you.....he will CHANGE you......He will change you into the type of person that “ wants” to give......A person who wants to give so badly, he can’t be held back ......that’s the “ hilarious “ giver God wants.....Bereft of that proper attitude, keep your money .It will go down with you when you die, and IF you make it to Heaven, YOU will be the one that suffers the loss of the rewards you could have had.Everybody knows from the Bible that “ we reap what we sew”. Most ignore the context .Paul was talking about giving.

I never changed a thing......God kept His Promise......I turned to Him and He turned to me......I never gave up this and I never gave up that......never attempted to “turn over a new leaf”.....I pretty much did the things I wanted to do- just like now.Instead Of changing my behavior and concentrating on getting the sin out of my life, I started concentrating on believing Promises Of God and acting on them.That is Faith. Is that the proper way to live? I don’t know, but the Bible says “the Righteous shall LIVE by FAITH. I Pretty much ignored behavior and just concentrated on practicing Faith.Strange things happened as a result.I did what I wanted to do, but somehow my “wants” kept changing. It was like God was changing me from the inside out..... that “ inside of the cup” stuff I had heard about . I “ accidentally” found A Living Bible - a Bible I could actually understand for once ! Then things really took off.I discovered that much of what I had been taught in Church was well- intentioned hog- wash and legalism.Reading That Bible was the best move I ever made.Nobody was going to BS me anymore— I KNOW what is in there! I never felt an obligation to read that Bible.I just could not put it down!I started listening to Vernon McGee and Oliver Greene half=hour radio programs and could listen to both of them all day.Other great teachers like Zola Levitt and Gene Scott followed.Man, do I miss Zola! I have learned that if one practices Faith- believes and ACTS on God’s Promises- God will put His Spirit in you and “ HE” will do the changing.God took an atheistic, drunken, skirt chasing sinner and TRANSFORMED him into a man of faith.In the final analyses , people are always going to do what they want.Really think about that! Our only hope is having our “ wants” changed.Not by us- we can’t do it by ourselves.We do not have to change to be a Christian ( remember the song “ Just As I Am) we need to trust God and let Him do the changing.Paul said this TRANSFORMATION was all that counted in the end. “ The man who finds Life will find it by TRUSTING God”.That is OUR part.......we do the Trusting (instead of Trying ) and God will do His part.That part that only HE can do— TRANSFORM us into the image of His Son. The Headline in the “Ye Olde Jerusalem Post” would have read—— “ Grace Trumps Law...Pharisees Grumble...Read All About It!” Lol....

I usually urge them to go to places that actually believe and preach the songs that they sing all of the time... “ Nothing But The Blood” and “ Just As I Am”. I send them to sites like “ getgodsgift.org” or send them to You Tube where they can learn from great “Jesus Plus Nothing” sites like Renee Roland or Andrew Farley.

Anytime the Bible appears to be in error.....it is going to be discovered that “we” were in error.If so- called discrepancies are not cleared up in this Current Age, they will be made clear “over there”. One thing is for certain —- God will be proven to have been right all along ....

Please, with all due respect....avoid using “ Scripture Walls” I won’t read them and I suspect many others avoid them also....You could be writing with the Wisdom of Solomon and it would all go to waste.....lol You are correct when you say “ repentance is the key”.You have to undergo a “ mind change” (metanoia ) That results in you going from an Unbeliever in Jesus to a Believer in Jesus.Whatever got you to that point was the thing that saved you .You “ turned to God with faith in Christ Jesus”..... the rest is “ icing on the cake” as far as Salvation is concerned. “ Turn to me ( repentance ) and I will turn to you”. Simple as that.God makes a Promise.....You Believe it....that is faith. Grace through Faith is what saves. I have more to say , but that will have to do for now.....gotta pick up some meds for my wife......later3

Grace is what covers the Believer when he sins......Grace puts those sins on the Cross and leaves them there...God “ remembers your sins NO MORE, if you simply believe His Gospel. Grace is not fair.....God grants His Grace to those that do not merit it- that’s Love. Grace is a manifestation of God’s Love for us. The indwelling Holy Spirit is what empowers us to do battle with our old Adamic Spirit ....it was given to us by Grace when we became Believers....

So what do we do with the descendants of the “ Slave Woman”.Who are they? Moslems? Judaizers?Those That are “ fallen from Grace and severed from the Cross”because they add to the Gospel Of Paul? Tares In the church that look identical to Believers but lack the Holy Spirit?Whoever they are,Paul’s analogy does not say to be gentle and try to convince them that they are wrong.No mention of begging, pleading or even praying for them.We are told to throw them out . The legalists will always attack those of us that are free.They will attack those that are “ free in Christ” always striving to put the free , who understand the Grace of God and rest in it back under the bondage of the Law.Law cancels Grace. Like oil and water you can’t mix the two .Do we try to reform the Spiritual Descendants Of Sarah and Ishmael ( symbolic of working your way to Salvation by obeying Laws - “ trying “ to be saved) or do the-True descendants of Abraham ( Those “Trusting” in the finished work of the Cross) throw them out? “ cast out the Bond-Woman”. Thoughts?

“ There are NONE that are GOOd......no,not One...”........ not trying to pick on you - it just sprung into my mind and I though perhaps somebody out there might need to hear it.... Something else some need to understand is what a Jewish English teacher taught my College English Class to the shock and dismay of 99% of the class .He wrote on the blackboard.... “ Anybody who thinks they are GOOD Enough for Heaven are damned” This from a man who was not even close to being a Christian.

Paul had a good run at , but in the end Paul was wrong.... “I”, BB am “ chief of sinners,” so please step aside, Paul......Paul was a murderer, but at least he “ thought” he was doing right.I did wrong , knew it was wrong , and did not care.I am not that person anymore.I am still a rotten sinner, but I have to wonder how much more of a rotten sinner I would be without the Holy Spirit in me.Thank God, He is never looking for “ good people” to make better- He is looking for “ dead” people, to make them “alive”. That is what He did for me. I am a sinful man, but every now and then , God does “His” good through me.I can thank Him for that much.....

How can it be any plainer? “But now God has shown His Righteousness, theLaw and the prophets tell about it, but it is WITHOUT THE LAW.God’s Righteousness comes to all that believe, just by their believing in Jesus Christ”..........Rom3 :21 “What the LAW could NOT do,God has done by sacrificing His Son” “ Christ is the END of the Law for all those that Believe” There’s tons more of this stuff....have you ever read Romans? For some ,it’s like Paul must have written his Epistles in disappearing ink.How could anybody just read the three examples I quoted and still continue to be claiming the Law is the way to Salvation. You and Paul ( the mouthpiece for Jesus after He returned to Heaven) are teaching two opposite things.A child could see it. With all due respect—- Why on earth can’t you? Btw.....please do not say that we must take the Words of Jesus over the Words Of Paul.All Scripture was inspired by the Holy Spirit.....If Paul said it- Jesus said it!If these two appear to be at loggerheads, they are not.Its just that something happened between the Words Of Jesus and the Words Of Paul. It was called “The Cross” and it , plus the Mysteries revealed through Paul that nobody ever knew about changed everything! Basically , the “ weak” Law that could not save anybody was replaced by the Gospel Of Paul, given to him by Jesus.The Gospel Of Grace obliterated the Law and it is useless as far as using it for Salvation.It is now there for two purposes.....to get you to shut up about a law you were never intended to keep, and turn to God ( repentance) with faith in Jesus Christ.

I have been posting that same message here for many months....unfortunately to the same deaf ears .....hope and pray that a Newbie will have “eyes to see” the Truths that you have written , because the stiff- necked in here are never going to learn the point of the story about Cain and Abel......God aint interested in your works .

Thanks, but the spark plug thing came from some place else. Apologies to you if you think I post too much. My posts increase in direct proportion to the amount of Legalism and flat- out Bible ignorance that is on display here.As long as people post things that fall into the categories of “ Jesus Saves....B U T !”........or Add to Paul’s Gospel that Saves.......or promote anything that puts one in a state of UNBELIEF by not resting in that Gospel , I’ m gonna be here like a pit bull on a poodle! Posting in here is far from the many other things I coulda be doing.I just happen to place much importance on the fact that those new to the faith do not get ruined by Judaizers and their ilk before they can even get started on the proper, Biblical Path Of NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD.Newbies MUST recognize the Wolves That Turn Christianity into a religion.When all that come in here understand that it is TRUSTING and NOT TRYING that gets you saved , then I will slowly fade away .Meanwhile, precious souls are at stake and bad teaching Needs to be , to quote the immortal Barney Fife..... “ Nipped in the Bud”. Sticks were used for building fires....creating a spark was forbidden on the Sabbath....the application for today’s Sabbath worshippers would be dont drive because cars run off spark plugs....I wish some of the people that worship the shadow instead of the substance would take a rest from silliness,, or as Paul said “ weakness”.It is not a Salvation issue, but why be weak when you don’t have to be?

Why would he allow anyone who does not observe the same principles he did while on earth to share in his inheritance? Thats an easy one....it’s called Grace......The same way anybody gets to Heaven without meriting it....Jesus had many principles that we do not live by .......Will you give me anything of yours That I ask for ? If so, please give me your car (I am not picky, just give me a good air- conditioner and a great music system, so I can listen to Led Zeppilin as I am doing now). If I slap your cheek, will you offer me the other? Yeah, I thought not......Why continue to dredge up an Old Testament performance - based way to Salvation. Why not graduate into the Age Of Grace which is where we are now .Anything we bring to God’s Judgement Seat other than our Faith in the Shed Blood to justify oneself is going to end up bad—- REAL bad.

This is great stuff if you are under the Law......unfortunately for Legalists Jesus That He was THE END of the Law for those that TRUST in Him alone for their Salvation.....You claim you do not make the rules ......Great......there are no rules in Christianity, except to Believe and Love......If , by the help of our “ Helper”—- The Holy Spirit That is, we can forgive somebody out of love , that is what God desires......not some pretend “ forgiveness” conjured up out of fear Of going to Hell, that is not heartfelt .God hates phoniness regardless of the intentions.God understands your hesitation in forgiving. He knows it is not natural .Put your reluctance to forgive on the Cross Of Jesus with the rest of your sins , thank God for His Grace and continue in this Walk of Grace and let God deal with the mess......give it to Him.....simply because “ He cares for you very much”. Btw, who did the thief on the cross forgive? Or the jailer? Brilliant ! .......never fear ,though.....some are damned and determined to find a way to ignore what Jesus paid such a terrible price for......Grace!

I respectfully disagree......Coming to God as a lost, hopeless sinner who has put his faith in Jesus to save him is the “ foundation” of Salvation.Do That and God will put His Holy Spirit in you and you will find yourself doing things that were previously impossible to do in your flesh.Forgiving the “ unforgivable”is a “ fruit of the Spirit” Of one that has been given a New Heart.It is a result of having that Spirit that has saved us — it is definitely NOT the means of obtaining it.We must not put the cart in front of the horse. Jesus was a Jew,humanly speaking ,and referred to the Jewish Law constantly .The Law on Steroids ! It was a prelude to get to the Heart of the matter.Jesus did not come here to preach Law-He preached Himself ! “ I “ am The Way, “ I” am the Truth,I am the Life, I am the Gate, all those that come to ME, all those that believe on ME, if you have seen ME you have seen the Father, “I” and the Father are ONE”. Jesus knew the impossibility Of Keeping the Law would lead to despair in those that had sense( ears to hear, a gift of the Holy Spirit ) and then people would repent ( turn to Him) for Salvation.Jesus was laying the groundwork for The Mysteries That God kept hidden until Paul revealed them years later.He was showing the Law- Obsessed that they needed Grace.- the Grace available to All that believed He died for their sins and that He rose from the grave on the third day .Once Jesus applied His Holy Blood to the Mercy Seat in Heaven , the deal was done. The oath God took , when He swore to Himself that He would save men was officially finalized at that point and Jesu sat down.ALL the pertinent work in regard to our Salvation was dreamed up by God, sworn to by God and fulfilled by God.Its ALL about Him.He gets All the-Glory. “All” means “All”. If you don’t like God’s Plan Of where He gets all the glory and you get what’s coming to you—- Nothing —- you don’t belong in Heaven.You get the Grace- He gets the Glory.Case closed. I think Jesus would say to you as He said to the loathed Publican—- “ Salvation has come to this house today!” God has opened your eyes and blessed you beyond all imagination, just like he did me .....to Him ONLY goes the Thanks and Praise......May you continue to be blessed !
