Hello everyone,
I’m hoping someone can give me some solid advice about someone I’m praying about. I’m 29 and looking to get married. I’ve been ready to be married for a good while now and I recently came across a woman who I found to be the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. Not many woman can truly turn my head, but this girl has all of my attention. I introduced myself to her one afternoon when we were both at a Christ centered gym we both attend and hadn’t said much after that. But I finally got the guts to say something to her and asked her to coffee. She seemed flattered from the pause in her response, but she told me she had recently starting talking to someone else. We continued to talk for about 5 minutes and both went our separate ways.
Long story short, I’m asking the Lord for this girl regardless of what I may or may not know about her. I’m anxious to get to know her, but I don’t see her very often but I pray daily for/about her.
So I’m asking if anyone has been in this situation or one similar where you had to wait for your spouse and you were asking for someone specific?
Should I wait for her? Like I said, I'm VERY drawn toward her and she lights up like things in the word when you're looking for answers while reading.
