  1. Selfish. This one is offended and therefore everyone not of that mind should be deprived. And those proselytizing should be stopped. They demonstrate they need Christ. Prayerfully they'll lose this lawsuit. I wonder if this kid would be so ready to go against Muslim's who might attempt to proselytize the doctrine of mad-muhammad?
  2. This may help the discussion to proceed on Biblical grounds. Born of the Spirit Author: Ray C. Stedman
  3. It is a shame that today it is hard to find the truth of Jesus teachings in many churches. The most noticeable could be those that broadcast. There are some such places that teach the born again Christian is still a sinner. That's a lie of course and yet how many people in such congregations sit and believe that? Rather than wait for that service to be over and then never darken the doorway of that location again? Romans 6:6, ‘Knowing this that our old self was crucified with Christ … that we should no longer be slaves to sin, for he who has died is freed from sin’ Reading the Book of John chapter 3 helps to understand that we are born again in the spirit. When we were alive in this world as sinners we were dead in this flesh. When we accepted Jesus and were baptized, that's by immersion into the water only, we arose as did Jesus from the grave, that living tomb where flesh was all, and were renewed in the spirit of Christ. Because as the word tells us, we cannot enter Heaven unless we that are born of the flesh, are born again in the spirit. If you encounter a church that tries to tell you as a redeemed Baptized reborn Christian that you are still a sinner, leave! Because that is a building populated by false teachers who are hoping to teach you where they are in their flesh. They are not of Christ or they would never lie in his name. Be Blessed. Hold to the truth of Christ and his word will never lead you wrong.
  4. Past sins are no longer relevant to the Christian in that they were covered under the blood of Christ the moment that sinner believed. Further, they are no longer considered to be that fallen person, a sinner, once they have accepted Christ as their savior from sins. All transgressions that may occur are covered under the blood of Christ's sacrifice for the sins of the world. And should we offend we have a mediator between ourselves and God, Jesus Christ. So that sin is not counted against us as the redeemed from sin , a Christian. 5. The anti-Catholic bias being unnecessary, I would wonder how any Christian who is saved by grace arguing Mary, the human source for the deliverer from sin that was the means by which God delivered his grace to the world, would not be full of God's grace so as to be worthy of the job. Deal with it. Or don't. But don't attempt to argue Mary was less than what God intended of her. And just for your edification being you clearly lack this knowledge, names are capitalized. Therefore it is Mary. You're not really capable of discussing the mother of God, which isn't a Catholic thing, when you don't respect her by name first.
  6. God declared Mary highly favored, which means grace filled. That's enough for me. Luke 1 χαριτόω (charitoō) Strong: G5487 GK: G5923 to favor, visit with favor, to make an object of favor, to gift, Eph. 1:6; pass. to be visited with free favor, be an object of gracious visitation, Lk. 1:28
  7. Hard to imagine a simple truth garnered this much debate. scripture link:Matthew 1:22–23. The Gospel of Matthew cites the prophecy of the sign of Immanuel from Isaiah, using a Greek translation rather than the original Hebrew. ... 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. 8. You can never lose your salvation. It is eternal. It is by God free gift of grace that salvation is available to those whom he calls unto repentance. Because those who heed the call are those sheep Jesus spoke of when he said he knows us by name. And we, those sheep, know his voice and follow him. If we give up on Jesus, fall away, Jesus doesn't give up on us. Because we were his before the world came to be. Our names were written in the Lamb's book of life before this world was created by God's will and sovereign power. Never let anyone tell you you can do something to lose your salvation. Because you did nothing to earn it in the first place. You have faith in Jesus and his sacrifice for your sins. You repented, were redeemed of those transgressions, and those sins/transgressions, were put under the blood Jesus sacrificed on the last sin altar, the cross, as that perfect unblemished Lamb that took away the sins of the world there. You were baptized in the Holy Spirit of God the moment you believed. And you were indwelt by his Holy Spirit that now will guide you into all truth. As with all relationships, it takes time to trust and communication is vital. Because you've just renounced the world's trappings and entered into God's grace. Pray, spend time with God. Meditate, take long walks in the wonder of his creation, nature. You are renewed in the spirit , love, and life of Christ. The old you is passed away and the new you has arisen to be in Christ. Praise the Lord! Jesus speaking here: John 6:39, "And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day." John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." John 10: 7-28, "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; 28 and I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish; and no one shall snatch them out of My hand." 1 John 2:19, "They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, in order that it might be shown that they all are not of us." I've happened on atheist sponsored sites wherein they hope to mislead those who are truly in Christ. Because be aware there are those who pretend to be Christian just to deceive the actual saints of God, as the Bible tells us also. Jesus never knew them. They are not in Christ. Those sites attempt to say that eternal salvation teachings are a license to sin. This of course is not true. Because the word of God clearly teaches that those who are in Christ do not make a habit of sinning. They do not sin. Those who willfully sin are not of God. Whereas the actual redeemed in Christ Christian is a new creation and no longer that former sinner self. 1 John 3:9Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 2 Corinthians 5: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. We have God, his Holy Spirit, living within us. We cannot be led to willfully sin. John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. God bless you.
  9. What a horrible dismissive remark.
  10. Isaiah 45 and particularly verses 7&8 6. Why is there Evil and Suffering?
  11. No, as I said, I thank you for not wasting too much of my time. You've made enough effort to make a point that allows one to realize a decent conversation is not within your framework of understanding nor participation in a Christians forum.
  12. Holding those convert Iranian's in prayer. Iran is an Islamic theocracy. Apostates, those who leave the faith, are to be persuaded back to Islam, or killed. The Koran allows for either route. And Iran is so strict they murder homosexuals that come out of the closet or are found out. All due to the tenets of the Koran. One can only imagine what these new brothers and sisters in Christ are to suffer. Praise God though. His will be done. Wouldn't it be a miracle were Iran to become a Christian country in the next few years? Wow.
  13. To the contrary. That's why I called you out. And the last part of your remarks is contradictory. There are no quiet discussions by virtue of the definition of quiet. And kindly? I was kind in my post. You appear not to appreciate people disagreeing with your perspective. That doesn't make you correct. That makes you very young.
  14. You sound paranoid. False teachings should never be allowed to appear unchallenged. If you , and I don't read you enough to know, were one who continually makes false statements concerning the scriptures or the Christian faith, you should expect to be addressed by Christians who know the scriptures and the faith.
