Please share what you know to be the difference between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of heaven? You can even state that there is no difference. KJV scriptures, video links, or website info to support your answer will help me. I hadn't really thought of there being a difference, but I see some that say there is. What do you say?

I spent some more time doing research regarding my initial question on "end time" thoughts. Below is a link that is a good indicator to what I was originally inquiring about an end time timeline. https://www.scribd.com/document/370450702/dr-jeremiah-revelation-prophecy-chart-pdf (This layout is a good place for me to start for I believe its form is what is taught at my church. ) As I consider everyone's comments I can see how the scriptures suggested and a look at current history could fit into sections of the chart. Does anyone have a straightforward answer as to what is the purpose of the new heaven and the new earth? Somehow that piece is a little fuzzy to me. Why would we need a new heaven and a new earth after we have been raptured into heaven?

To SimpleJeff: Hmmm.... your comment "the opposite will also be true, that the church, or at least those who are faithful and looking for His coming (not beating their servants etc) will be becoming more Christlike. Thus the divide between the sheep and goats will continue to widen. This will be evident even within our churches. " has me thinking even the more. Noting who is acting more Christlike versus who is not is another indication of the end times. (An even then, the demarcation might not be truly clear. What is the scripture in the Gospels that speaks of two walking together and one will be left behind?) How serious/diligent we must be in our walk with the Lord. Thanks to all, I obviously need to keep reading, thinking, and asking the Master for understanding: :-)

I hear from time to time that the end times are upon us! I do believe that, for the most part, the times are becoming more evil. But I would like more scripture upon which to base this notion. Any suggestions? A timeline or website to view would be better, if you have something to share.

I have done just quick reading on the two topics, I admit that. At first I wondered what was meant by social holiness. As I looked for the term "social holiness" I began to see that frequently people interchange "social holiness" with "social justice". Social holiness, the holiness that one exudes in social settings with people of likemindedness is not the same as social justice. Social justice being all things should be equitable to all people. One can have both, but as far as I can tell they should not be interchangeable terms. What do you think?
