  1. “He hasnt put one out in awhile though, been a bummer”. Oh Man… that's not good, the rate I'm reading these I'll finish all of them in the next month or so :|. Someone better tell Frank to hurry up and write
  2. OK… so The Prophet definitely has to be on my 'Too Read" list now . That sounds awesome too. I just looked at Wikipedia and Frank Peretti has written so many, allot are for kids and teens, but I’m sure their awesome too. I started Piercing The Darkness last night, and I’m finding it really hard to put down and I think it’s just as good as the first one I read. I’m really enjoying how he intertwines the human and spiritual realms, the stories are fascinating.
  3. I totally agree what you said “I personally liked his take on the demonic warfare.” I’ve found this inspiring, how it portrays that we have the power in Christ to overcome the enemy and that God is in control and his plans always succeed. I’m getting allot out of reading these books.
  4. Yes the Book of Revelation is a great read, and it really demonstrates the spiritual realm. I can’t imagine how John felt when all this was revealed to him, must have been both scary and awesome at the same time.
  5. I like what you said Gary Lee, “His works plant a lot of seed. A fictional writer, but truth exposed, often to seekers.” I agree as I’ve found it encouraging and also liked how it portrays Gods divine protection. My Sis does not believe...yet, however it has made her curious when I talk about it.
  6. Excellent! Thanks George for your reply. I’ll add it onto my “To read” list . Is it the same genre as the one I’ve just read? Thanks so much.
  7. I’m new here, but I had to share my excitement as a Frank Paretti book that I’ve just finished simply blows me away. I didn’t think of the spiritual realm like this before until I read his book. It’s kinda freaking me out as well to know that it so real and exists all around us. I know the bible says that it does, but it wasn’t until I read this book that I really thought about it in this context and the battle that we face. Don't get me wrong, its not scaring me it's just a new way of looking at it for me. Anyway, I just finished the book called This Present Darkness and my friend has lent me Paretti’s other one called Piercing The Darkness. I read the first one in 2 days as I couldn’t put it down. Has anyone else experienced this with Paretti’s books, I find it absolutely amazing and simply can’t get it out of my head? I’m going to start reading Piercing The Darkness tonight… and I can’t wait!
  8. I think we will, I read a book called Heaven is for Real about a boy who went to heaven. The boy recognised his grandfather and sister, he also saw some animals there as well.
