  1. I could not stand my husband. I got divorced because I couldn’t stand him. Fought all the time. No respect either way. He was a “good” man I guess. I divorced him. God surely dealt harshly with me. I have to live it. People are harsh too. I can’t unscramble eggs.
  2. I don’t think so. It’s good exercise and will give you confidence to avoid fights I believe. You will be able to use words better by not fearing physical confrontation. But by all means, let peace reign as far as it is possible by you.
  3. My son, I suspect, is in your situation it seems to me. He would never admit it tho. He likes a girl at church who has a boyfriend. My advice is find someone not involved with someone else. It only leads to to someone of the three to end up very hurt. I always give my heartache and frustration to God. Over and over until it’s resolved or at least not heartache anymore. I’m older and have many years of wanting things not designed for me. I hope you do well and find what God has planned for you through prayer. Emotions can’t be trusted. They are fickle fools.
  4. Great question. It’s hard to find a church that is true. I don’t live anywhere since I drive a truck so it’s hopeless. However, I try to find a church for my my mother. I want everyone to be saved I cry everyday. Is that normal?
  5. Long suffering is a fruit of the Spirit. The older you get, the more this becomes a major fruit. Lonnnnng sufferings! ?
  6. Marilyn, this is all so interesting and spiritually uplifting! I love how our Lord is so detail oriented and loving❤️ Thank you. I’m going to study this a bit.
  7. Ogner, Job received in the end double of what he lost. Except children. He only received the same number. Why? Because he would see his dead children again. All was lost, but God saved his children who went to be with Him. Job is a devastating yet glorious true story.
  8. I always understood that to mean Israel as a nation in a geographical location. Just look at the UN. The whole world hates a tiny country. I’m grateful the USA stands with Israel. That’s why we are blessed. We are no better than any other country, I suppose, except in the standing with Israel. God said to. IMHO.
  9. Yes. In God’s infinite wisdom, Israel’s rejection of Christ became our (gentiles) chance at salvation. We are the Body of Christ. Israel will be dealt with once we have come in full. It won’t be pretty, but Israel belongs to God. I’m sorry I can’t post scripture because I’m on a phone and I’m a truck.
  10. He chose to love us, and He chose to save us in self sacrifice before He even created us. His Glory, His creation, His redemption. He will never change. He decided to love us and save us. We only must BELIEVE.
  11. Where were You when I Laid the Foundations of the Earth? Im astounded at Job 38. Beautiful and provocative language and imagery! Just a thought! Good blessings to you ❤️
  12. I believe God makes it very clear throughout the Bible that, as far as nations go, Israel belongs to Him.
  13. Eros is the political battle cry “love not hate”. But you are correct, it’s not really LOVE.
  14. Being from the United States, the Great Commission is useless IMO. I have yet to meet someone who hasn’t heard the Gospel of Grace. God will do His work in American hearts. God is the one who draws one, calls one, becomes irresistible to one.
  15. These beautiful old cathedrals throughout Europe are truly amazing examples of churches made with hands of men. God has something so much better! A building for us made without men’s hands. I for one am tired of men’s hands ?
  16. Thank you everyone for your deep study and willingness to share your knowledge and understanding of our glorious scriptures! I believe in a pre trib rapture, but I am going to read through all this and the Bible. There is no end to God’s wisdom. It’s so simple, yet so very deep and provocative! Thank you to everyone who has posted.
  17. Well, Hillary Clinton certainly put her emails out there free for the taking. Then destroyed everything. Those are alarming facts. But we just carry on...
  18. Try an employment agency for sure ^^ You are well educated, you could get a job anywhere. Employers love college degrees of any kind. It shows follow-through and grit. Be courageous and kind to yourself. Pray constantly instead of being bored. God is truly a lover of our souls, he is more precious and interesting than a physical lover! Just try.
  19. There has always been discrimination against unbelief. Look around the world. Unbelief wreaks havoc on those nations who have no believers. That is God’s discrimination. Man’s hatred is toward believers in Him. Western civilization was wrought by Gods own hand through a believing people. It is now being torn asunder by unbelief. So very sad.
  20. I may be reiterating here, but I feel your pain. If people in your life hate God, hence you, remove yourself from them. If it’s people on tv or in government that you see hate God, don’t watch it. Put goodness in your mind always. The rest will fall into place without your worry. Pray for all that bothers you. Be kind in person and give to those that ask (beggars). It’s really important to not read at watch all the horror and negativity the world wants us to drown in. You do well talking it out on here. Prayfully live. We do hate evil, but we hope for persons. They are not condemned yet. There is always hope❤️
  21. Palm Sunday was proof of the Lords Triumphant entry into Jerusalem. That day they could have crowned Him King! But alas, they did not. Some knew though. Oh Israel!
  22. Debp, I do too! It’s all part of my fondest memories of my innocent days. A joy to me!
  23. Debp, Exactly. Others love these holidays and it gives us an opportunity to share with them Jesus crucified and resurrected and what it means to us sinners. I’m grateful they are still national holidays so people like them and view them in a positive light.
