  1. If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. 2 All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God: 3 You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. 4 The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks. 5 Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed. 6 You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out. 7 The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven. 8 The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you. 9 The Lord will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the Lord your God and walk in obedience to him. 10 Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will fear you. 11 The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you. 12 The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. 13 The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. 14 Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them.
  2. Hi Faithful heart! I feel your pain! My husband has many misplaced affections and struggles in his faith walk. Although what he has told you is not biblical, I encourage you to quietly encourage your husband to peruse Christ’s will with your loving actions. The Lord has shown me and is continuing to work on my heart and I know although I can pin point places where my husband needs to grow, I honestly cannot change him. Only God can. Check out the following video: The peaceful wife is a great resource for Christian women looking to influence their husbands towards Christ. As I give my afflictions specifically related to my marriage to our great God, I’m seeing Jesus work in my husband. I can’t see everything behind the scenes, but I know as my husband hears God he is impacted. Jesus changes our thinking and your husband if he is a follower of Christ will see his error in his thinking. I encourage you to pray for your husband daily and pour your desires out to the Lord. He is faithful and wants to fulfill the desires of those who follow in righteousness. Try not to be bitter...we are all broken and have things the Lord wants us to work out. Your husband placing you after his mother is something God will work out in his heart. Stay strong sister and I’m here if you want to talk. Feel free to message me! You are not alone! Lord, I ask you to touch faithful heart. Give her your peace and wisdom. Help her to love and lead as a wife should as outlined in 1 Peter 3. Give her 1 Corinthians 13 love for her husband and help her to live as the example you want her to live and model Christ in her home. I ask that she put you before everything else and give her husband grace as you have given him and her. Be with this couple. Heal her heart and help her to seek you in all things and remember you are working everything for her and her husband’s good. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen
  3. It’s amazing to see all the rules that were set forth in the day of Moses and then to contrast those rules with the freedom Christ brings. He came to serve us and to die for our sins so we don’t have to offer sacrifice. He was the ultimate sacrifice. How great is it to live under his grace! We are so blessed!
  4. I love Psalm 34 from our reading today. The Lord is close to the broken hearted and delivers his people from fear! That spoke to me in a big way this evening! Frances, I think Joeseph was trying to give his brothers a hint. Looking forward to tomorrow’s reading!
  5. Amen! Needed these scriptures today! How awesome is it we have a God who protects and watches out for us. It’s amazing he promises to listen to those who cry out to him!
