  1. You may want to look up when the word trinity first appeared and how it came into existence. That in itself is revealing. This site believes in the trinity doctrine and so the majority posting will believe in it. There are many other Christians who do not follow this doctrine. Personally, I have many reservations about it and yet never seek to make it a point of contention, but rather discussion. As I don't believe it is a salvation issue. There are questions about the trinity doctrine that do not allow for logical answers. Many times in the Bible God says I am One. And yet we are told He is three in one and all are completely independent spiritual beings. So now we have three Gods in one. This is confusing to me. Second, God has existed for eternity and is all knowing. There is nothing that He does not know, either past, present or future. He is the Creator of all things and nothing happens unless He allows it to happen. With this in mind, why in eternity did He decide to create man and angels whom He knew would rebel. Why wasn't this done eons ago and if it was why continue doing so. The Bible is quiet on this subject and we can only postulate as to why. However, if we do not believe in the trinity doctrine then we now have a reason for Him doing so. I will leave it up to you to find out the truth as I have no desire to impress my beliefs upon anyone. I will allow His Holy Spirit to do that.
  2. So tell me Davida .. . At what age did you change your mind and what prompted the change of heart?
  3. You could always say to her, "hun do u mind turning that off when I'm around." And she like a good Christian wife would say,"Of course, I didnt realise it was bothering you."
  4. Your points on such things have merit. I am sure that if one would have been alive just before the American civil war that the events leading up to it would have been extreme and hatred would have abounded, resulting in the deaths of over 200,000 Americans. Same could be said for the 1st and 2nd world war and for that matter every major conflict in history. However as per my last post, the redefination of marriage as I see it, is a game changer.
  5. He is trying. . . .however he has a major obstacle as I see it and that is to overturn same sex marriage. Marriage was an institution created in Eden. To change its defination is to assure the demise of a nation. God cannot bless that which He forbids. Wouldn't you agree?
  6. Bandjao. . . The defining moment for me was when they redefined marriage. Once that became law the road to ruin was assured in my opinion. You cannot change the way our Maker has designed things and expect there to be no consequences. Marriage is a fundamental institution that any nation and community is built on. As goes the family, so goes the nation. Do you not agree?
  7. So true .. . . And when we read in Matt 24:11-13, "Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved." The challenge we face as Christians is when our freedoms are eroded and lawlessness abounds, we need to be careful not to let our love grow cold. This I have found can easily happen if we let it. We can become jaded and fed up with the ways of this world and can begin to slide backward in our walk with the Lord. It is precisely at these times I have found the Scripture above pulls me back into line. When I feel my love growing cold. . . .I must remind myself, that this too shall pass. Has anyone felt the same thing at times.
  8. All good points. . . But will it happen?
  9. Are we in fact seeing a demonic rage to which the only solution is a spiritual one, as posted above.
  10. I have been thinking about the challenges President Trump faces, including his own walk with the Lord. Now while I believe it is important to keep our leaders in our prayers, could it be that the best strategy when dealing with the dark spiritual forces that are arrayed against America, is praying for your enemies. We know satan has deceived the whole world. All the kingdoms of the world are under his influence. They have been deceived by means of him tapping into their greed and power ambitions and disdain for those who oppose them. So as we battle not against flesh and blood but against dark spiritual forces in an unseen world, wouldn't our best strategy as Christians be to pray for those he has deceived. Love overcomes hate every time. This Jesus demonstrated so well. Satan has no answer to love for it overpowers his influence. Yet of ourselves we cannot match him and his cunning tactics for we are mortal. So as we claim the victory that Jesus has over him and pray in Jesus name for those being deceived by satan and his angels, are we not targeting satans weakest link and that is his inability to overcome the love of Christ. Another way to look at it would be to say well this is all prophesied and so it will happen anyway, so why bother. While that is being a realist, I don't believe it is the best course of action. What are your thoughts?
  11. I have been following on youtube the SGTreport on the so called deep state and it outright hatred for D.J.Trump. This channel seeks to inform viewers on the enemy within. There are some very dark forces at work within the US Government seeking to undermine the Constitutional republic. This channel identifies them as under the direct influence of our archenemy, the prince of the power of the air. What is interesting also is that when listening to a Pastor - Lindsey Williams- on his channel, and who actually lived with these globalists 35 yrs ago for a period of 3 yrs, said they will let you know of their intent before they act. Something I thought strange to say. Now as Trump has just concluded a meeting with Putin and it seems they have found common ground. The deep state of whom the former CIA Director John Brennan is apparently a part of, has come out calling Trump a traitor. Now a traitor to the US is considered a capital offense. Does this signal the intentions of the deep state and that is, they are feeling the heat so much that now they have only one solution left and that is eliminate the President. If so more then ever, Christians need to uphold D.J.Trump in our prayers in the name of Jesus, to protect him and guide him. There is victory in that prayer when ones faith has no doubts that it will find its mark. Blessings.
  12. Brujaq .. . . Are you telling us you have reconsidered your position on your dislike for D.J. Trump?
