  1. Hi there Bumbleb33, welcome to the forum, and great advice from Willa, God bless.
  2. If I have misinterpreted the OP, I apologise, if you are wanting to encourage married folk Corletta, just continue being who you are already, there is no "new hat" you have to put on for them, or anyone else for that matter, God bless.
  3. Funny man, my wife and I used to buy them, we preferred the morning breakfast and the tropical flavours.
  4. Woo Hoo, even so, come Lord Jesus, just saying.
  5. My oh my, what a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all see Jesus, we'll sing and shout the Victory. blessings brother let's all proclaim it.
  6. Leah, thank you for your reply and in answer, yes, I have read most of Gideon's posts and I see things that others do not, we do have have our different understandings, admittedly, and these we should bring before The Lord and ask for understanding, if we don't understand. I don't agree with you that Gideon is calling us "all bad," he, like me, just wants us to come into a place of being more mature in our walk with Jesus, after all, our lives should be more of Him and less of us. Isn't that what John the Baptist said, "He must increase, I must decrease." Blessings.
  7. Leah, my intention was not to single you out as such, but that you made this comment as to why you think the level of education had anything at all to do with what was posted. Whether it be a "professor or a pauper who hears "the word" believes and repents of their sin, they understand their error of life, and turns to Jesus, then they are saved. If you think Gideon is out to harangue believers, you aren't seeing what he is trying to get across to us. It definitely isn't an attack of any sort, just his desire for all of us to get into a better place in God, just saying, God bless.
  8. Leah, may I point out that the level of education is of no consequence to those 120, the disciples were uneducated and were looked down on by others, fishermen were that, just fishermen. Who was the spokesperson for the disciples and the christians in Acts 2, Peter no less. Education is not the issue here, but I believe you have a personal agenda against Gideon, he's not attacking you, or anyone else. He is just sharing his heart, trying to explain that we have not realised that there is so much more in store for us as disciples of Jesus, if only we would allow our eyes of understanding be enlarged by the Holy Spirit, are we willing to be brave enough?, God bless.
  9. R. Hartono, please please, before you put your thoughts on the forum, can I humbly suggest that you quote only what is written in The Bible. Deut 34: 5-6, state, "So Moses the servant of The Lord died there in the land of Moab according to the word of The Lord. 6. And He(God) buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth-Peor; but no-one knows his grave to this day. So, respectfully, anything other than what scripture says, is only speculation at best, and should not be bandied about as truth. It only leads to confusion and may be detrimental to someones faith, God bless.
  10. This is exactly where we need to be in our walk with Him. Many say we walk the walk and talk the talk, but what we really need to do is, LIVE THE WALK, JUST SAYING, God bless bro.
  11. A wrong concept and/or understanding of what he's saying, using a wrong word interpretation.
  12. There was of course Cilla Black, whose real name was Cilla White, her manager changed it for some reason. Beau, don't forget 1 of Dusty's big hits was "Stand by your man." No-one has mentioned Sir Cliff Richard (Harry Webb), still a "bachelor boy" in his 70"s. I remember that Cilla had her own TV show way back when.
  13. Oh Kev, really, lol.
  14. Hi there to you enemyoftheworld, welcome to the family here on the forum, sound advice from Abby and others, God bless you on your journey in The Lord.
  15. Just so Beau doesn't think he is holding this topic all on his lonesome, I would like to add my grateful thankfulness to all you dear sisters who have made me welcome on the forum. As David has mentioned, there is much wisdom and love for the brethren here as each of you ladies minister The Word to all. You cannot share with any authority without having had the experiences yourself, you cannot tell what you do not know. I personally express my love to Marilyn and Trevor when they visited and stayed with us on their adventure around this great nation of ours. My wife and I are all the richer for meeting them, sharing with them, and loving them, all made possible because of our mutual love for Jesus, and making Him known, in our lives and, Lord Willing, through our lives. May our Lord and Saviour, Father and Holy Spirit continue to lead and guide you dear ones in your service for Him, as we journey along this road together, till He comes, God bless and keep you all ways.
  16. Dusty, someone please move over and pass him a towel, lol. We all need to hear this in thwsw days in which we loive, not only hear it, but heed it. Ask and it shall be given you, pressed down and overflowing, just my 2 bits, God bless.
  17. Dusty, I sense that the change in location and the trauma of leaving your peaceful mountain surroundings have somehow impacted your thinking. If I am wrong in my thinking, I ask your forgiveness, I have found Jostler to be very consistent in all of his postings, and I'm sure he doesn't need me to defend him in this case either. Just putting in my 2 cents worth, God bless and keep you in Him, Dusty, take care.
  18. Jostler, my point exactly, thank you brother, above all, let The WORD be preached, let it become ALIVE IN US, then let us appropriate it and live it, so that others can see "Christ in us, the Hope of glory."
  19. Behold, does it really matter in the great scheme of things whether Gideon has "borrowed" from someone else the truth of what he's posted? Did not Jesus Himself rebuke the disciples regarding the man who was preaching Christ, though he did not follow them. If the truth is being preached, leave the brother alone, and display a better godly attitude toward him. Consider yourself "told off" brother, God bless.
  20. Melinda,do not adopt the mindset and attitude of the world, indeed Kwik has given you most Godly counsel, Jesus said if the world strikes you on one cheek, turn the other to them as well.Do not retaliate in like manner, love them, forgive them, for they know not what they do,as Kwik said adopt the mind of Christ, as you understand more of WHO Christ is in your life, you will have a different perspective to all of what is going on in the world right now, God bless.
  21. Your closest friendt, may I suggest that before you press submit reply, that you proof read what you have written, to correct any misunderstandings to what we're thinking to what we're typing. What is happening here is mixed messages, we do need to be so careful what we put down, need to be clear, cos people will get the wrong meaning, just saying. God bless.
  22. Hi Kristen, we can get caught up in a lot of legalism, Marilyn has given a most appropriate answer, realising that you don't have to be baptised, not a salvation issue. Just remember, that if you don't get baptised now, you will be unbaptised for eternity.
  23. Our dear sister, what a blessing you are to us here on WCF, and I personally want to thank you for all your knowledge, your time spent in writing your blogs and the effort taken with the diagrams, God bless you richly precious sister, just saying.
  24. Flowersun, like you I read that Jesus commited His spirit to The Father, therefore He was not separated from Him, our spirit goes on into eternity, it's just where we decide, this side of eternity where we will spend it? Just saying, God bless.
