Seems to me this is the next evolution of land mines. We've already seen the devastation that minefields cause and international community has been poo-pooing mines for a while. Perhaps we should take caution before we let machines decide whom to kill or not kill.

In computer science you can have data and then a pointer to data. In fact, you can have multiple pointers to the same underlying data. Each pointer points to the same thing. The thing is not accessed directly but is referenced via its pointer(s). Perhaps we're dealing with something similar. Maybe God, whatever his ultimate form, is sufficiently abstract as to be incomprehensible to our minds, hence we have easier to conceptualize "pointers" that point to the underlying truth, each in their own unique way.

It sounds like your cable connects directly to your computer, probably via a cable modem. One possible solution is to install a WiFi router between your cable modem and your computer. This will allow you to connect multiple devices to your cable Internet service, including your cell phone via its WiFi capability. Ask your cable provider. I am certain they can assist you with this. Alternately, ask any of the teenagers in your neighborhood. I'm sure one of them can help.

If you have wired Internet to your house then you can plug any off-the-shelf WiFi router to the cable box and generate your own WiFi. If you have a large area to cover, consider purchasing a WiFi mesh unit. Your phone can connect to whatever WiFi network you create and send/receive voice calls over IP (VoIP) using the cable's Internet.

I think a person can get whatever tattoo they want when they turn 18. Before that, no way. I have seen religious iconography tattoos many times, including crosses and scripture. If that's what a person wants, so be it.

What have you got to lose? Seriously, if you sincerely and contritely confess your sin and God rejects you then how is that worse than doing nothing? If you were truly lost then you would not be struggling. The fact that you struggle is a sign that you want to live so confess your sin and mean it. Then accept what happens. You still have some agency left you. It's Satan who wants you to turn away from God. It's Satan who wants you to give up. Don't do it! Kneel down and confess. Confess. Cry. Scream. Beg. Be honest. It sounds to me like you are trying to control the situation. You can't. No one can. Try apologizing to Jesus. Confess your sins to him and throw yourself at his mercy. Willingly and trustingly accept whatever arises without trying to steer the outcome.

Whether you love Trump or hate him, it's saddening to see our political system weaponized like this. Whatever happens, America loses.

I predict that if the case against Trump falls apart just as the prior ones have, he will use this is a cudgel to blast his enemies with the "witch hunt" narrative once more. That in turn will give him victim status and will guarantee he wins the election. His opponents better have a solid case or several judges in their pocket or both, otherwise it's game over.

I destroyed the microphone and camera on my phone so AI can't spy on me. Now my phone is only useful for email, text, and listening to voicemails. I have achieved nirvana.
