  1. Hello again, Irene, and thanks for the great reminder to give God the credit for everything good! We're so glad to have you here.
  2. Hi Faith... and welcome to the Worthy family! We're happy to have you here.
  3. Any man who sets himself up as "king of a congregation," demanding payment, mediating like a pope or catholic priest, is antichrist. No need to look any further than the Bible to know this.
  4. Hi tughard... and welcome! Like you, I wish my grandchildren could be growing up in a sweeter time. All the more reason, though, to keep them encouraged and trusting in Jesus! Psalm 34:1-4 New King James Version (NKJV) The Happiness of Those Who Trust in God A Psalm of David when he pretended madness before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he departed. 34 I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad. 3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together. 4 I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.

  6. Hi Akornrumpf... and welcome to the Worthy family!
  7. Hi Anna... and welcome! We are so happy you're here!
  8. Welcome, Evgen! We're glad you're here. I really like the title of your introductory thread and the story behind it. Our conversations ARE important, and I believe God loves to be the topic of them. I hope you enjoy many great conversations here!
  9. Hi Scryptic... Welcome! We're so glad God didn't give up on you! Psalm 103:1-5 New King James Version (NKJV) Praise for the Lord’s Mercies A Psalm of David. 103 Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: 3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, 5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
  10. Yes, I think so... still reading about it. Just talked with Sonshine☀️, and she can't touch the iPad right now. She has cream all over her hands--a new recipe for Dupuytren's ... You should see a new question posted above your last response. Happy searching!
  11. Me, too... so far, I see that Aaron was to wear them over his heart when he went before the LORD. They were in the "breastpiece of judgment" (Exodus 28:30). So they must have been fairly small and lightweight.
  12. the Urim and Thummim... but don't ask me what they were
  13. Well, I don't know... The way you worded your #2 answer makes it VERY difficult to disagree with! I definitely want to be on Jesus' side in any battle!
  14. I agree with BeauJangles except for #2.... Of course, I feel certain it was God's will for Jacob to prevail.... Hosea 12:4 New King James Version (NKJV) 4 Yes, he struggled with the Angel and prevailed; He wept, and sought favor from Him. He found Him in Bethel, And there He spoke to us— Genesis 32:28 New King James Version (NKJV) 28 And He said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.”
