  1. Hi again, Milly... What I mean is that Jesus purchased a pardon for our sins with His very blood. His blood washes away our sins and makes us "snow white." Isaiah prophesied about this: "Come now, and let us reason together,"says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool" (Isaiah 1:18). Once you have put your faith in Jesus and accepted Him as your Savior, God sees you in an entirely different light. He no longer remembers your sins. He sees you as pure and clean--snow white!

  5. HI, Sloth... Welcome! We were all lost here before we were found. It's so easy to get lost in the distractions of the world, so easy to allow our focus to shift from one thing to another that promises to bring more joy or satisfaction, only to find ourselves in an empty place. The Good News is that "the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost" (Luke 19:10). "What do you think? If any man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go and search for the one that is straying?" (Matthew 18:12) Jesus is looking for you! I think you want to be found, Sloth. And you are! You just have to allow yourself to believe it! God bless!
  6. Hi, Milly... Welcome! You can actually BE "Snow White" when you surrender your heart to Jesus. I know that a big decision such as this may create a problem in your family now, but your faith commitment is for a lifetime and will affect every other decision you ever make--even the choice of a boyfriend! Our Father has wonderful news for you in the Bible! May God bless you on your journey to truth.
  7. Father, Isaiah 26:3 says, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." Please help Leyla put everything else out of her mind except for her trust in You. We know You are enough to handle the rest. Keep her in perfect peace as Your word promises so that Her life can be a testimony to Your greatness. Thank You, Father, for mercy and grace given to us in Christ. Please bless our sister Leyla with Your healing love. We ask boldly in the name of Jesus... Amen.
  8. Hi Not me... Thanks for another excellent post. I have been thinking all day about how BIG God's love is. I love the way this Psalm describes it: Psalm 36:5-10 New International Version (NIV) 5 Your love, Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies. 6 Your righteousness is like the highest mountains, your justice like the great deep. You, Lord, preserve both people and animals. 7 How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings. 8 They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights. 9 For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light. 10 Continue your love to those who know you, your righteousness to the upright in heart. ...... How BIG is the love of God? My lack of eloquence can only answer, "Big enough!" At any time, in any circumstance, it's big enough, with more than enough left over to share.
  9. I agree, Tigger... like the eternal truth of God's love. His love is not merely an attribute, Love is His nature and so certain a foundation for us that we can trust in it, depend on it for salvation, rest in it, be confident in it, and learn to love because of it.
  10. Amen! God IS love.... everything He is and does.
  11. Hi Shortangel... "To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven" (Ecclesiastes 3:1). May this season of your life be enriched at the feet of Jesus. May He ease your struggles and give you peace.
  12. Welcome, TheWhiteDove... We're glad you're here!
  13. Hi, Jesus Won... Welcome!
  14. Hi, Tigger... Banana and mayo doesn't sound too very awful even though I've never tried it. I do love peanut butter and sliced banana on flat bread with a sprinkle of cinnamon and chopped pecans! Yum! Just like a dessert! My mom used to love peanut butter and Vidalia onion sandwiches, but I was never brave enough to try those either. Hubby and I eat a lot of venison, but because it's so lean, we mix bacon in with the ground meat. Very good!
  15. Hi, Sonshine... This is a beautiful song... and the theme is way more important than so many people realize. When we sing, we allow the Word of Christ to dwell in us richly (Colossians 3:16). The impression of scripture and biblical precepts stay in the heart and mind. Better still, singing to Jesus chases Satan away. I very much doubt that he wants to stick around while we are singing and making melody in our heart (Ephesians 5:19). Paul and Silas sang while they were in prison (Acts 16:25). They refused to allow Satan near to tempt them with depression or fear; they glorified the Father in song instead. Songs like this one make me look forward to eternity! "And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps. They sang as it were a new song before the throne..." (Revelation 14:2-3).
  16. Hi, Tigger... Your post brings to mind the story of Corrie Ten Boom, who during WWII helped to hide hundreds of Jews to protect them from arrest by Hitler's authorities. She was betrayed by a fellow citizen, and her entire family was imprisoned in concentration camps. She suffered miserably and narrowly escaped the Nazi Holocaust. If anyone had reason to lose hope, she did, but God led her to that rock mentioned in Psalm 61. She once said, "There is no pit so deep that God's love is not deeper still."
  17. Hi Rebecca... I also love Psalm 91 because it is such a beautiful glimpse of our Father's love. Because of everything He has done for us, it is so easy to love the LORD; yet for so simple a thing as setting our love on Him and acknowledging His name, He promises blessings beyond measure! How can we even fathom such love? Psalm 91:14-16 New International Version (NIV) 14 “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. 15 He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” ....... He truly does long to be gracious to us! He provides rescue (always a way of escape), protection (our gospel armour), answers to prayer (when we seek His will), companionship in trouble (He never forsakes us), deliverance (sets us in a safe place), honor (makes us His own sons and daughters), long life (abundant, satisfying, eternal), and salvation (freedom from effects of sin and eternal life with Him). \o/
