    The Christian Walk Isn't Hard...

No, probably not. Seems, there are many OSAS adherents and few non-OSAS adherents, especially among Gentile Christians. ... MATTHEW.7:13-14 (NKJV) = The Narrow Way 13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

    ROMANS 14 and homosexuality

@artsylady ROMANS.1:18-32 says that homosexuality is a curse/judgment from God for purposeful rebellion against Him and His Law or for knowingly rejecting Him and His Law, ie God purposely changes purposeful rebels into homosexuals. Most homosexuals like to do what is right in their own eyes = lawless wrt God's Law. Before the 1960s, gays and sodomists were ostracized and prosecuted in the US = they had to hide in "closets". In the ancient Jewish nation, LGBTQs were executed, as do Muslim Saudi Arabia today. Hence, most homosexuals/LGBTQs claim that they are born as such but in actual fact, God had cursed and changed them as such; usually this change occurs soon after their puberty. Hence, unrepentant homosexuals are sinners against God and like other unrepentant sinners/evildoers/Law-breakers, should not be pitied or tolerated/condoned by Christians and the Church. Nevertheless, since the 1960s, US Law has abolished laws against sodomy and protected the LGBTQs from discrimination. So, US Christians should just let the LGBTQs be, as per MATTHEW.22:21 = “Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” but should not condone or tolerate the LGBTQs in Church as per 1CORINTHIANS.5:1-13 and MATTHEW.18:15-17. To "cure" homosexuals requires them to repent of their purposeful rebellion against God and His Law. Only then will God remove His curse and change them back to heterosexuals. This is as difficult as getting idolaters to repent of their idolatry.

    The Christian Walk Isn't Hard...

. HEBREWS.10:26-31 (NKJV) = 26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, ... No. Apostle Paul said, "If we sin willfully ...". The word "we" included himself, a Jewish Christian. So, the warning to not sin willfully was to himself and other Jewish Christians or Hebrew Christians who have received the knowledge of truth. The word "we" may include Gentile Christians as well. . Seems, whenever something unpalatable, undesirable and negative is found in the Word of God, some Christians presume it was a warning to Jews or unbelievers or false Christians, and not to "true" Christians like themselves who "may be" beyond reproach, chastening and judgment of God or are maybe OSAS.

. LEVITICUS.4:1-3 & 32 (NKJV) = The Sin Offering 4:1 Now the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘If a person sins unintentionally against any of the commandments of the Lord in anything which ought not to be done, and does any of them, 3 if the anointed priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, then let him offer to the Lord for his sin which he has sinned a young bull without blemish as a sin offering. ... 32 ‘If he brings a lamb as his sin offering, he shall bring a female without blemish. JOHN.1:29 = 29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

    The Christian Walk Isn't Hard...

Yes, very true for Jewish Christians, but not so true for new Gentile Christians who are usually not well-versed with God's Law. Remember, when He was on earth, Jesus Christ only preached to His fellow Jews, ie not to the Gentiles. Most new Gentile Christians need to gradually grow from spiritual babes-in-Christ, being fed with spiritual milk, to spiritual adults eating solid food/flesh/bread of Christ(= the Word). This process of spiritual growth can be not easy and lightly burdened, eg ignorant willful sinning or Law-breaking Gentile Christians who end up divorced and as a single parent or paying alimonies, like because of adultery or sexual immorality. Sins/evil-works/Law-breaking have serious consequences for "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, ..."(GALATIANS.6:7, 1JOHN.5:16-17) Some new Gentile Christians who intentionally ignore the non-burdensome laws of God found in the Old Testament and willfully break them, may end up with a hard yoke and heavy burden from the evil one.

    The Christian Walk Isn't Hard...

No one is born again-again. Do you know what being born again involves? Once saved from hell by faith in Jesus Christ and born-again of the Spirit of grace, Christians are to show or bear the good fruit/works of the Spirit, sometimes gradually, by keeping the Law, either all of the laws/commandments or only the non-burdensome laws(= for Gentile Christians - ACTS.15:24-29 & 21:20-25). Christians are not to show or bear bad or evil fruit/works of the flesh by willfully breaking the Law. At MATTHEW.7:15-23, Jesus Christ stated that such false prophets/Christians who sin willfully by breaking the Law or practicing lawlessness will not inherit the kingdom of heaven, eg through ignorance or being deceived. What will normally happen to such willful Christian sinners.? They will suffer the curses/judgments of God for their willful sins, eg calamities, terrors or even an early death, and then they may lose their salvation by losing faith while in suffering.(eg JOB.2:9) Christians are not immune to the effects of willful sins/Law-breaking. There are some Christians who say that the Law is only for the OT Jews, and not for the NT Christians; and that their faith in Christ has freed them from the curse or shackles of the Law = they do not have the keep the Law if they so wish. The result is that they walk or live according to their own subjective personal convictions of what is right in their own eyes, and not according to what is right or lawful in God's eyes. But what does the Word of God say about this.? ... HEBREWS.8:10 (NKJV) = 10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. It is easy for God to put His Law in the minds and hearts of the Jewish Christians from the house of Israel. But not so for Gentile Christians, especially those who refuse to learn the non-burdensome laws of God found in the Old Testament. Such Gentile Christians who ignore the OT Law will tend to sin willfully, fail to fully become God's people and are like spiritual babies born with congenital defects who could not be cured or taught. ... HEBREWS.5:12-14 = Spiritual Immaturity 12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. 13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. 14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. 1CORINTHIANS.3:1-3 = Sectarianism Is Carnal 3 And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. 2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; 3 for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men? 4 For when one says, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are you not carnal? . At MATTHEW.25, in the Parable of the Ten Virgins and Parable of the Talents, Jesus Christ stated that some Christians will be lost or not saved at His 2nd Coming to earth, especially Gentile Christians. Oil and talents symbolize the fruit/works and anointing of the Spirit. Fire and light symbolize the Word or Jesus Christ. Those who will be lost or not saved do not show or bear the fruit/works of the Spirit and do not have the Law/commandments/Word of God in their hearts and minds.

Like fast-foods, fast-salvation or OSAS looks and sounds nice but is truly not healthy for the spiritual body in the long term, eg susceptibility to ignorant wilful sins or evil-works, stunted spiritual growth, spiritual sickness like old-age diabetes, etc. Yes, salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ alone. ... EPHESIANS.2:8-10 (NKJV) = 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

That may be a presumption on the part of fallen Man. ... PHILIPPIANS.2: (NKJV) = 12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. 14 Do all things without complaining and disputing, 15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, 16 holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.

Aren't ministers of the Word also Christians who have been saved by faith and not by works.? Aren't qualifications = requirements.? Why did apostle Paul require ministers of the Word to show good works, in order to be qualified.?

Are you referring to apostle Paul.? ... 1TIMOTHY.3:1-13 (NKJV) = Qualifications of Overseers 3 This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work. 2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach; 3 not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous; 4 one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence 5 (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?); 6 not a novice, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same condemnation as the devil. 7 Moreover he must have a good testimony among those who are outside, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil. Qualifications of Deacons 8 Likewise deacons must be reverent, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy for money, 9 holding the mystery of the faith with a pure conscience. 10 But let these also first be tested; then let them serve as deacons, being found blameless. 11 Likewise, their wives must be reverent, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things. 12 Let deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. 13 For those who have served well as deacons obtain for themselves a good standing and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus. 1TIMOTHY.5:21-25 = 21 I charge you before God and the Lord Jesus Christ and the elect angels that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing with partiality. 22 Do not lay hands on anyone hastily, nor share in other people’s sins; keep yourself pure. 23 No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for your stomach’s sake and your frequent infirmities. 24 Some men’s sins are clearly evident, preceding them to judgment, but those of some men follow later. 25 Likewise, the good works of some are clearly evident, and those that are otherwise cannot be hidden.

Yes, very true, ie Christians are justified for salvation solely by faith in Jesus Christ, and not by the good works of keeping the Law.(GALATIONS.2:16-17) OTOH, should Christians then "go and sin wilfully", eg through ignorance or being deceived.? What will happen if they do "go and sin wilfully" for whatever reasons.? Will their salvation still be safe/saved or likely at risk of being lost.? ... REVELATION.22:12-17 (NKJV) = Jesus Testifies to the Churches 12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.” 14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. 15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. 16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.” 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

. 1CORINTHIANS.6:9-11 (NKJV) = 9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. GALATIANS.5:16-26 = Walking in the Spirit 16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. MATTHEW.7:15-23 = You Will Know Them by Their Fruits 15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them. I Never Knew You 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
