  1. . GALATIANS.5:19-21 (NKJV) = 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. . Not if we sin intentional or willful sins everyday that are also not repented-of = will not inherit the kingdom of God. There is a big difference between intentional or willful sins/evil-works or fruits/Law-breaking and unintentional sins.(cf; MATTHEW.7:15-23)
  2. . There is no difference between the OT and NT when a person has committed murder or robbery, ie in both OT and NT times, convicted murderers will be executed or convicted robbers will be jailed or executed. Murder and robbery are intentional or willful sins. Both will likely end up unsaved from hell. The only difference between the OT and NT is the way to be saved from hell.(JOHN.14:1-7) LUKE.16:19-31 said that the rich young Jewish man of OT times ended up in hell/Hades for unrepentantly and willfully breaking the Law at DEUT.15:11, eg by refusing to provide charities to beggar Lazarus.(cf 1PETER.3:19 & 4:6 = he and other similar Law-breakers had no opportunity to hear the gospel from Jesus Christ while in "prison" in Hades/hell) Intentional/willful and unintentional sins should be looked at differently.(cf HEB.10:26-31, 1COR.6:9-11, GAL.5:19-21, REV.22:14-15) Inherited Adam's Original Sin is an unintentional sin.(cf LEV.4, 1JOHN.2:1-2 = only repented-of unintentional sins could be atoned for with the blood of animal sacrifices = no need to suffer the curses of God)
  3. . Sin has consequences. For inherited Adam's Original Sin, the consequence is eternal spiritual separation from God or being bound for hell when one dies.(GENESIS.2:17 & 3:14-19, ROMANS.5:12) The sacrifice of Jesus Christ atoned for this inherited and unintentional sin = believers are saved from hell. For willful or intentional sins/evil-works/Law-breaking, the consequences are being cursed/judged/punished by God, eg with calamities, terrors, sickness, loss, depression, etc.(DEUT.28:15, 1COR.11:30 & 5:5, 1JOHN.5:16-17, ROMANS.2:5-10) But God/Jesus has the authority and discretion to remove such curses, eg healing and exorcism, King David and Paul were spared their immediate lives for committing murder. Normally, God just allow the law to run its course, eg convicted murderers are executed, convicted robbers/rapists are jailed and traffic offenders are fined. The above 2 sins should be looked at differently, eg even though the convicted Jewish robber who was crucified next to Jesus at LUKE.23:43 had to suffer and die young for his sin of robbery, he was still saved from hell through his repentance and belief in Jesus Christ.
  4. Agreed, but are you not equating Allah, not allah, with the One and only True God? That was the point the pastor was making, ...he was objecting to the heretical teaching prevalent in the Church today, that the Jews, Christians and Muslims all worship the same God. Only the born again Christians Worship the True and Living God, the Jews rejected Him and are apathetic today and the Muslims worship the Moon god. . https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allah
  5. I have a problem with this, ...we listen to a born again Arab pastor who lived his childhood years in Lebanon until his parents immigrated to the United States LEGALLY (he stresses that point), he tells us that he was raised by his parents to worship Allah, while living in the States he became born again and called into the ministry, ...he says as a child he was taught by his parents that Allah was the Moon God, ...hence the Cresent Moon in the Islamic faith, I don't claim to be a scholar of the Arabic language, ...but why would this pastor make up a story like that? . In the English language, there are many different God and gods, eg Buddhist God, Hindu God and gods, Greek God and gods, etc. Similarly, in the Arabic language, there are many different Allah and allahs.
  6. . Messiah (derived from Hebrew) = Christos (in Greek) = Christ (in English) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christ_(title) Messianic Jews = Christian Jews = Jewish Christians = Jews who accept or believe in Jesus the Christ/Messiah. So, the term Messianic Jews is not an oxymoron. Similarly for Christian Gentiles, to whom Apostle Paul often referred to as Gentiles in his letters, eg GAL.2:11-14. It is important to differentiate Jewish Christians from Gentile Christians who may not be circumcised, eating kosher/clean foods, keeping the proper hair-length or Sabbath-day, etc like the Messianic Jews or Jewish Christians and who may also remain as Gentile Christian smokers, alcoholics or drug-addicts(= not having been healed by God/Jesus). . P S - YHWH (derived from Hebrew) = Theos (in Greek) = God (in English) = Allah (in Arabic)
  7. MATTHEW.19:26 (NKJV) = 26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
  8. The problem I have with this line of thinking ... is the fact that you are differentiating and still creating a wall of separation between Jew and Gentile when in fact God is doing the opposite. Eph 2:12 remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. Eph 2:14 For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility Eph 2:15 by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, Eph 2:16 and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility. . Yes, it is true that both Jews and Gentiles were saved from hell solely by faith in Jesus Christ, and not by the good works of the Law/commandments = both became the ONE body of Christ. It is also true that to remain saved or not lose faith, Gentile Christians should not be required or compelled to go and live as Jews(= keep most of Moses Law = a heavy burden) and Jewish Christians/Messianic Jews should not be liberated or exempted to go and live as Gentiles(= mostly lawless). . GALATIANS.2:11-16 (NKJV) = 11 Now when Peter had come to Antioch, I withstood him to his face, because he was to be blamed; 12 for before certain men came from James, he would eat with the Gentiles; but when they came, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing those who were of the circumcision. 13 And the rest of the Jews also played the hypocrite with him, so that even Barnabas was carried away with their hypocrisy. 14 But when I saw that they were not straightforward about the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter before them all, “If you, being a Jew, live in the manner of Gentiles and not as the Jews, why do you compel Gentiles to live as Jews? 15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, 16 knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
  9. . ACTS.15:18-29 (NKJV) = 18 “Known to God from eternity are all His works. 19 Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the Gentiles who are turning to God, 20 but that we write to them to abstain from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from things strangled, and from blood. 21 For Moses has had throughout many generations those who preach him in every city, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.” The Jerusalem Decree 22 Then it pleased the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas, namely, Judas who was also named Barnabas, and Silas, leading men among the brethren. 23 They wrote this letter by them: The apostles, the elders, and the brethren, To the brethren who are of the Gentiles in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia: Greetings. 24 Since we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, “You must be circumcised and keep the law”—to whom we gave no such commandment— 25 it seemed good to us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, 26 men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 27 We have therefore sent Judas and Silas, who will also report the same things by word of mouth. 28 For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things: 29 that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual[j] immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. Farewell. . ACTS.21:20-25 = 20 And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord. And they said to him, “You see, brother, how many myriads of Jews there are who have believed, and they are all zealous for the law; 21 but they have been informed about you that you teach all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children nor to walk according to the customs. 22 What then? The assembly must certainly meet, for they will hear that you have come. 23 Therefore do what we tell you: We have four men who have taken a vow. 24 Take them and be purified with them, and pay their expenses so that they may shave their heads, and that all may know that those things of which they were informed concerning you are nothing, but that you yourself also walk orderly and keep the law. 25 But concerning the Gentiles who believe, we have written and decided that they should observe no such thing, except that they should keep themselves from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality.” . There is a big difference between Jewish Christians/Messianic Jews and Gentile Christians wrt the Law of God.(cf ROMANS.11, HEBREWS.8:10-11) God has liberated Gentile Christians from His non-essential or burdensome laws but not from His essential or non-burdensome laws, in order to do well on earth, ie not be unwell. In comparison, Jewish Christians or Messianic Jews are required by God to continue to keep His Law or Moses Law, as many laws as possible, because it is not a burden to them. Those who keep His Law/commandments/Word, either wholly or partially(JOHN.14:15-24 & 15:1-8) or unknowingly(= Greeks or Gentiles - ROMANS.2:5-16) will be blessed by God, ie will not be unwell on earth.
  10. . If you are referring to voluntary sins/evil-works/Law-breaking, then the answer is yes, ie it is possible for anyone to keep from sin or evil-doing or lawlessness, whether Christians or non-Christians(= Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, atheists, etc). Some "Christians" may behave even worse than non-Christians wrt sins/evil-works/Law-breaking. If you are referring to involuntary sins-in-the-heart or sinful/evil/satanic thoughts, then the answer is no, ie it is impossible for anyone to keep from such sin. Such is our inherited Adam's Original Sin that will be sending everyone of us to hell when we die.(MATTHEW.5:27-30, ROMANS.3:23) To be saved from hell, people need to rely solely on faith in Jesus Christ, and not on their good works of keeping from sin or keeping the Law because their inherited Adam's Original Sin has to be atoned for.(GALATIANS.2:16-17, ROMANS.5:12, HEBREWS.9:22, LEVITICUS.17:11) ....... . MATTHEW.19:16-22 (NKJV) = Jesus Counsels the Rich Young Ruler 16 Now behold, one came and said to Him, “Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?” 17 So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.” 18 He said to Him, “Which ones?” Jesus said, “‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ 19 ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ ” 20 The young man said to Him, “All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?” 21 Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” 22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. . ROMANS.2:1-16 = God’s Righteous Judgment 2 Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. 2 But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things. 3 And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God? 4 Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? 5 But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, 6 who “will render to each one according to his deeds”: 7 eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; 8 but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, 9 tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; 10 but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 11 For there is no partiality with God. 12 For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law 13 (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; 14 for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, 15 who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) 16 in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel. .
  11. . Being born-again of the Spirit when a person comes into faith in Jesus Christ is very different from being resurrected by the Spirit of God after a believer dies on earth physically. Are you also saying that Jesus Christ was not resurrected.? Preterists seem to be mixing up the physical and Spirit'ual wrt the kingdom of God and resurrection. The Lord/God Jesus Christ has been abiding Spirit'ually or invisibly in the hearts of Christian-believers who listen or heed His Word/Law/commandments(JOHN.14:15-24) = "the kingdom of God is within you." The Lord/God Jesus Christ will be coming back again to earth physically or visibly, to resurrect/rapture His believers into the clouds and exact vengeance upon unbelievers left on earth.(1THESS.4:16-17) After the 7-year Great Tribulation for unbelievers when the earth will be destroyed, He will then create a new earth for His people to live peacefully and joyfully in the new Millennium.(REV.21:1 & 20:4, ISAIAH.2:4 & 11:6 & 65:25) In the end, the Book of Life will then be opened to judge believers and unbelievers. This will usher in the actual kingdom of God in heaven for believers who will then be able to see God the Father face-to-face.(cf EXODUS.33:20, JOHN.1:18 & 5:37). . JOHN.18:36 (NKJV) = 36 Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.” .
  12. . https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Messiah_in_Judaism
  13. . 1CORINTHIANS.15:20-28 (NKJV) = The Last Enemy Destroyed 20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. 24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. 27 For “He has put all things under His feet.”But when He says “all things are put under Him,” it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. 28 Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all. . His Coming will be accompanied by the resurrection of dead Christian believers. So, the 2nd Coming of the Lord/God Jesus Christ to earth will be a physical Coming, ie not a Spirit'ual or invisible or unseen Coming - because from 33AD until today, dead Christian believers have yet to be resurrected by God. .
  14. . The Lord/God Jesus Christ has shown up on earth Spirit'ually or invisibly since the beginning of God's Creation at GENESIS.1.(JOHN.1:1-2) He is the same yesterday, today and forever.(HEBREWS.13:8) But physically and Personally or visibly, Jesus Christ has shown up on earth only during His 1st Coming to earth at around 0AD-33AD, in order to die on the Cross and save believers from hell. He will show up again during His 2nd Coming to earth to rapture/deliver believers into the clouds(1THESSALONIANS.4:16-17) and exact God's vengeance upon the remaining unbelievers, sinners, persecutors and mockers left on earth during the 7-year Great Tribulation period, eg ....... 2THESSALONIANS.2:1-12 (NKJV) = The Great Apostasy 2 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. .
  15. . JOHN.14:15-24 (NKJV) = Jesus Promises Another Helper 15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. Indwelling of the Father and the Son 19 “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me.Because I live, you will live also. 20 At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. 21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” 22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?” 23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me. . 1JOHN.3:4-9 = Sin and the Child of God 4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. 5 And you know that He was manifested to takeaway our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. 7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. The Imperative of Love 10 In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother. 11 For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another, 12 not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother’s righteous. 13 Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you. 14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death. 15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. . You do not have to be alone. Jesus Christ/God/the Holy Spirit of God will abide in Christian-believers who keep His commandments/laws/Word. That is how they walk in the Spirit and produce the fruits/works of the Spirit after being born-again of the Holy Spirit of God.(cf HEBREWS.8:10-11) For Gentile Christians, as per ACTS.15:19-29 & 21:20-25, they are required by God to keep the essential or non-burdensome laws of God, so as to do well on earth, ie not be unwell or be struck by tragedies/calamities(eg 1CORINTHIANS.11:30, 1JOHN.5:16-17), especially moral laws, eg the Ten Commandments at EXODUS.20:1-17.(cf 1COR.6:9-11, GALATIANS.5:19-21, REVELATION.22:12-17) They can liberate or exempt themselves from non-essential or burdensome laws, eg circumcision, kosher/clean foods, unmixed linen clothing, correct hairlength, etc. In fact, Gentile smokers, alcoholics and drug-addicts can remain as sober Gentile Christian smokers, alcoholics and drug-addicts because quitting the addiction may likely be too burdensome or impossible if God/Jesus does not miraculously heal them. God bless. P S - Most Gentile Christians were formerly lawless Gentiles = are born-again as spiritual babes-in-Christ who crawl in the Spirit until they could gradually grow by feeding on the Law/Word/commandments of God and then be able to walk in the Spirit steadily. . IN ESSENTIALS UNITY, IN NON-ESSENTIALS LIBERTY, IN ALL THINGS JESUS CHRIST. .
