  1. i don;t believe that God is omnipotent and that he is everywhere. God is in heaven, his spirit goes out to all the earth where believers are but God is absent from the presence of evil.
  2. imagination is not a bad thing its a good thing and essential to life, by it a child plays, by it an artist paints, by it one writes good stories, by it a surgeon comes up with new ways to save lives and by it God created the world. sure we can imagine evil and many do but we can also use it for good and how to help others. i think u are taking whats in the bible completely out of context.
  3. i am not saying all physicians were but their methods were questionable and often didn't work. doctoring was still in its infancy and there is much they didn't know
  4. u know one of the groups of people that Jesus had problems with were not just the pharisees or sadducees but also the physicians at the time. the problem was that what they were doing and their treatments didn't work. their are a couple of occasions where people saw them or were getting treatment that failed and only Jesus could heal them. now it never records any confrontations between Jesus and the physicians and perhaps there weren't any but its obvious in most cases only Jesus could heal the people of Israel.
  5. yes i couldn't agree more, i commented on a post recently and someone responded very nastily to it, but remember not all of Israel is israel and worthy is an internet forum after all and not everyone who responds and talks to u is a believer even if they say they are. and there are alot of narrow minded people in the world including the church. but i have met some good people here so persevere and just ignore pity and pray for those who a mean on here.

    Jesus's son

there is a possibility that Jesus could have a son in the future. Isiah says concerning the lord that he will see his offspring, and their are several prophesies that were not attributable to Jesus (psalm 91, also i cried out in a land with no water and the righteous man will get up from his sickbed the place were he lies). and revelation talks about a future birth of a child who will rule with an iron sceptre and Jesus refers to him as he who overcomes. before u dismiss this totally keep in mind that God can and often does what in not expected. i know most will say we are his offspring and the child is Jesus but think about it, cannot he who healed the sick and raised the dead not raise for himself a son and why wouldn't he. what if this is his plan and what if the son of man he refers to in the gospels is actually his son to come. i just ask u all to consider this a possibility and not shut u mind to it as many do
  7. time and chance happen to all, their is no God controlling what we do. what u decide to do in a day is completely up to u. but i do believe in Gods providence, being predestined just means to be chosen.
  8. u should never claim to be a prophet, i have had experiences and dreams also but that does not make me anything but a believer. and a prophet's life is full of woes. some like Jeremiah cursed his own birth because of how bad it was, i do believe prophets exist because i had a sign from one, but they are hidden men.
  9. maybe it because the last times will be full of blasphemy, when the beast ans false prophet come and their servants they will utter blasphemies greater then that of the pharisees in Jesus time
  10. jesus also spoke to me in the hospital, he told me and those with me about all the nonsense of the way we think, thinking we could when we know we shouldnt, the most amazing thing about it is how ordinary he sounded, as a loving father to his children.
  11. if evolution exists it is only because God created it
  12. Jesus walked on water, which i think is probably the funniest thing anyone has ever done in history, or what about turning five loaves of bread and 2 fish into a feast for 5000
  13. as a christian i feel that our concern should not be on finite things but eternal truths. the world will end and a new better world will be established one day by him who lives forever
  14. my minister said something truly profound this morning in church, he said that most people think they are in the land of the living and go to the land of the dead, but he said it is the other way around for a believer in that we are in the land of the dead and go to the land of the living, that is eternal life. when u think about it it is very true. we are dead due to sin but living due to christ and many in this world are already dead in their sins. christ lives forever and so will we when we are raised from the dead
  15. it u do the wrong thing for the right reason then is it still wrong
  16. no one suggesting that, i am sure Jesus would use spiritual means to make a son
  17. cannot he who raised the dead, healed the sick and created life, not create for himself a son in the womb. is it impossible for Jesus to have offspring. does not Isiah say he will. does not revelation speak of him. you people have a fine way of explaining away what u do not comprehend or understand, nor do u listen to those who do. i tell u good news, that Jesus will indeed have a son, rev 21 i will be his God and he will be my son, and rev 3 just as i overcame and sit on my fathers throne, so he who overcomes will sit on my throne. if u have an ear listen
  18. and i look forward to the coming of his son, the one who will reap the earth when the crop is ripe
  19. yes, and out of egypt i called my son was about israel before it became about Jesus.
  20. here's a scenario, lets say there is a barren woman who cries out to Jesus in her anguish, and Jesus comes to her and heals her and by touching the place of her womb imparts a child, it is written more are the children of the barren woman then she her has a husband, and rev 12 does say the woman has more children. Jesus didn't need to perform surgery to heal people neither does he have to copolate to have a son.
  21. what are the chances of Jesus having a son? what it the child born in rev 12 is the son of Jesus. in some translation of Isiah 53 it says he will see his offspring.
  22. i got banned from a site for suggesting there will one day be a new king according to rev. i found it highly amusing
  23. this morning i was feeling dissatisfied and wanted to make more of myself and change my life in some way, but then i realized the Jesus excepts me for who i am and that he will always give me things to do. we do not have to be somebody because we already are. the chosen of God and one day we will be kings in heaven.
  24. the reason why the woman in rev 12 cannot be Israel is because later in the chapter, it says she flees on eagle wings to the wilderness where she is taken care of. now can u imagine a whole country fleeing to the wilderness, unless u are talking about a mass exodus, which is even more problematic. its better to take her as what it says. a woman who gives birth to a king.
