  1. i actually posted that during the time of drought was the third horseman and that plague was coming after that, if this is the work of the horseman, then after this will be a great time of martyrdom, and after that a great meteor storm.  and as for antichrist he is only mentioned after the seals and trumpets and the son of man will also come also, he who overcomes who has an name known only by him who has it.

I don't think it is impossible. If he wanted, if it was part of the plan, he would have had children.

It appears from some of the posts here that you are revisiting this question.

Logically though, can I suggest that you approach this question in a different way.....

"What would be the ramifications if Jesus had a child?'

I think if you ask that question you will understand why he did not. (keep in mind what his purpose was)

i like the way u put that, but what i say is not that he had children but that in the future according to revelation that he will have a son.  he who conquers the one to reap and conquer the beast and the false prophet.

Jesus is not an adulterer or fornicator.  Simple as that.

God had a child through mary, would u accuse him of adultery, Jesus healed without using drugs or surgery, and he who raised the dead could easily raise for himself a son by his spirit

  4. is the internet the new babylon that is described in revelation, there is no greater place for evil then the online computer, the whore that prostitutes herself to the kings of the earth could describe online pornography and a sea of people is a good description of world usage,  the more i think about it the more a believe it but what do u thing?

  5. there is a continual theme in the bible i have noticed that when there are false people God sends one who is true,  in Noah's time it says there were self proclaimed heroes in his time and God sends a true hero, a man who saves the world, and in the time of moses there false magicians and God sends one who is ture a prophet and a real wizard with true power, and in the time of denial there were false diviners and God sends one with true insight into dreams and the future, even in Jesus time their were false teacher and physicians and God sent one who was true, a teacher with authority and someone with real healing power.  so maybe in this time of false wisdom and knowledge God will send someone who is true.

I feel like I'll never be able to fully repent or truly recieve Christ unless I completely give up everything wordly and by that I mean like im going to be tested until my life is made a s**thole like job in the bible and I cant repent until im completley willing to give it up to that extent that id be okay with something like that happening because I feel like I have to "proove" myself to god to even be worthy of repentance (probably because I doubt god so much or something, im always doubting or maybe because I believe gods promise is too good to be true to be so liberally granted to someone like me). I feel like im trapped between going to hell or willingly living a suffering s**thole of a life here in order to somehow proove myself that I dont hold wordly things above God, obviously id rather choose the one where I dont go to hell but I feel so depressed, desolate and somewhat hopeless.

Maybe im just overly fixated on the fear of going to hell combined with the feeling ill never be good enough TO EVEN RECIEVE CHRIST

Also in my case im very insecure about my physical appearance (I hate how I look, I feel emasculated, and kind of like genetic garbage), I get the thought that god is going to test me by making me truly very ugly to see if I still believe in him afterwards similar to the story Job.

i once heard a country song that says God does not make mistakes, u are loved by God for who u are and who he is.  it is our unworthiness that makes us worthy, grace is not for the worthy or else it wouldn't be grace.  u need find what makes u happy, music, movies, books and such as and focus on what attracted u to the faith in God in the first place and meditate on that, he is not a God of sufferings but of great joy.  look in a mirror and say to yourself, i am beautiful and holy in the sight of God and excepted by him made, and have some ice cream, it always makes things better

Is it wrong to want to read about a different religion I checked out a book about the history of the Islamic religion am I wrong to want to read about it for education purpose even though I am a Christian any advice would be appreciated ?

i once had an interest in buddhism and God granted that i talked to someone who was into it, i found it an empty philosophy, i also asked God if i should visit a buddhist temple then i had a dream that i was trapped in china near a temple and could not go on to do my work, so it was clear to me that such interests can be a trap and make u lose focus on whats important

  8. 6 is the number for work in the bible, for 6 days God created the world, for 6 days the jews were to labor, for six years the fields were to be cultivated and for six year an israelite could be a slave, so the number 666 more then likely represent the works of the beast

How can you be sure ? It also they have to worship the image. Sounds like a idol that can appear alive.

well a book can be an idol, if people follow what it says, a rival book to the bible, i cant be sure but i am pretty sure, the fact that people follow what this idol says and a book can speak when it is read, if u have a better explanation do tell.

  10. the number 6 is a very significant number for man in the bible, on the sixth day we were made, for six days we are to work and rest on the seventh, for six years debts can be collected and cancelled on the seventh, for six years a hebrew can be a slave and released on the seventh and the number of years fields can be cultivated and harvested.  i would suggest that the three 6's or 666 in revelation may represent one or more of these things, perhaps debt, slavery and labor.  it is the number given to man by God.

  11. the image of the beast the speaks is a book a sacred book, it is made sacred because the false prophet breaths life into it and to breath like into something means to make it sacred.  and nothing else can speak like a book does, they speak to people everyday when people read them.

  12. i was thinking of how the ancient roman empire was the most corrupt and immoral civilizations that ever existed and how we compare to them today and the truth is we have, that is our western world has become the new Rome.  think of all the corrupt laws and the violence and vulgar things on the media.  that is also whom the beast is the roman world in the last days and babylon in the east.

There are two ways to view God. One view teaches us that God can do whatever He wants in our lives. He is in control. The other view teaches us that we can do whatever we want in our lives. When we pray we "rub the lamp" so the genie will come out and give us whatever we want. Some people get disillusioned and angry if our request is not answered.

The first view holds God in esteem. The second view treats God as though He is there to wait on you.

sometimes when i think about things i want they sometimes happen.  i have all i need and want and that is a gift from God but more then anything in this life that i know he will grant is eternal life with him.

    Yes--of course you are right.

My mistake. I should have recalled this. I was thinking of Jesus function as savior and Head of the Church. Brother and also Husband.

i have just gone a step further and taken it literally, though we are all his children those he redeems from sin.  though i think it is possible he may have an actual son if i am right about revelation, though who is to say, i confess there is a lack of cohesive evidence and except for rev 21 7 it does not actually say he will

I think you've hit the nail on the head, my friend.

There was a time when I would try to argue passionately for the truth with other followers who were interpreting or twisting the Word.  However, now days I have learned it is better to only speak the truth and if they object, they object.

There is a fine line between someone who has been deceived and someone who deceives themselves.   When I feel I have identified the former group, I will go to great lengths to explain the Word with them.  But when I believe it's the latter group, I don't bother anymore, for two reasons...

    1. Everyone thinks they are fighting for truth and for God.  So,anyone bringing a contradicting teaching to what this latter group "know ", will simply be classed/categorised as ultimately working for the enemy or destined for Hell.  Scripture bombs are thrown at each other for hours but, ultimately, it's a stalemate.

    2. Some in this latter group, with deceitful hearts, can entice you to sin with your words and attitude during the debate.  They act rudely, aggressively and insultingly to you and,  before you know it, you stoop to their level.  Yes, in righteous anger but with sinful execution.  It's not only until you look back you go "Man, what got into me there, I acted like a fool".

So therefore, those who are stubborn minded, who think they know all there is to know, and do not remain humble in the face of the Scripture - I let them be.  Let their fruit show what's in their hearts and, if Yahweh has appointed them to error, let it be.  Not everyone will be saved.  But if He has appointed to them to be enlightened to the truth, all I can do is share it simply, and let the Spirit do the convincing part.

That's the negative part, which is so prevalent these days.  But let me mention the  positive part lest we get to depressed...

Isn't it great when you hardly know someone but from the few things they say or do, you just KNOW they get it.  You feel the Spirit within them in their words or attitude.  What a pleasure that is!  to imagine the next world being filled with such people.... How exciting!  Such people occasionally have different doctrines but ultimately they have "got it" and they remain humble in the face of Scripture - ready to renew, refine and regenerate their faith and walk - understanding they have much to learn from the Word AND each other, always.  Such a person like this is truly my brother or sister, regardless of differences of doctrine.  When I meet such people, see them teach or read their posts in here - it fills my heart with such joy and hope that all is not lost.  He has a remnant, always.

    Love & Shalom

well i think Solomon Said it the best," do not answer a fool according to his folly or else u will be like him, answer a fool according to his folly or else he will be wise in his own eyes".  and i look forward to hearing him in the life to come and u too.  i am sure we will have good conversations.

    Oh, okay, you meant

    logic

    - the quality of being justifiable by reason.

    not

    logic

    - a particular system or codification of the principles of proof and inference.

If that's the case, don't most people think their "strange conclusions and even stranger beliefs" do make sense and are logical? It seems like the admonition in your op is actually that people should have faith in scripture, in spite of whatever seems to "make sense, and be logical" to them.

well that can be the case, but let me ask u a question, when u have breakfast in the morning do u have food or poison?  logic would tell u to have food and not poison, sure u could take poison on faith but if u did u would die.  logic and sense guide us in life and if faith had no wisdom and did not make sense then why do u believe in the first place.

    Shalom nobleseed,

I can see your point.  However, I also see another principle at work in the Scripture - that it will not open itself to certain people.  It remains veiled to some, as well as the truth, even to some believers.  A blindness, if you will, like the parables of the Messiah which were designed to reach certain people and avoid others, in a crowd of followers.

In the days of the Messiah, thousands followed Him, but not His ways.  Only a select few followed His ways - the disciples (which was more than just the 12 apostles).  In the same way, today we have many "followers" of Messiah, singing His praises to seeking miracles, blessings and healings from afar - but there heart may not be right.

I believe that depending on the follower's heart, selfish goals, a wilful ignorance - the Scripture will not reveal it's treasures.  Instead it will seem tough, laborious and confusing .  Beyond this, if their motives are wrong, the Scripture can also seem to twist and contort to them, and back up their self-serving theories, with a verse here and there, solidifying their errors.  A scary principle, but it ought to be acknowledged.

So yes, there is only a few good teachers out there but even if there were many, there would still be much senselessness and incorrect interpretations out there - showing the wheat from the chaff.

    Love & Shalom

very well said and enlightened.  u certainly have the truth in your heart.  but how do we correct the errors that have polluted scripture and how do u teach the obstinate.  maybe it is up to God to correct and not men like us

What happened that made you think this way?

because there is nothing more precious then a child in Gods eyes and i know he is a just God who will pay those who wrong them in full.  and their is no greater abomination then child molestation.
