That is truly a beautiful Bible. But there's a trinity (if you'll pardon the expression) of things wrong with it: it isn't a study Bible, it isn't in colour, and it uses American English. I feel quite guilty now. I must come across as a horrible racist...

There are so many Bibles out there.....but not 'the one' for me. I'm looking for an NIV Study Bible, Anglicised, single-column, cross-references near the spine, full colour. Such a thing simply does not exist. Woe is me! The one that comes nearest is the excellent Biblical Theology Study Bible by Zondervan. All boxes ticked except that it features American English. I wince when I see 'savior', 'rooster', 'center' etc. Ah well, I'm very patient. I'm prepared to wait....?
