I have been struggling with my move of feeling close to any women my age. I moved from Indiana to Michigan to get married and live with my husband and have been here for more than a year now. I have set up get togethers with people in my church who are my age, and they always say that they should set something up in return but it never happens so it is hard not to get discouraged and be content with rare phone calls from past friends, or just hanging out with only my husband. Advice from some other online chat places hasn't really helped but I'm an optimist so we'll see if there is any good advice from this post. Thank you.
