  1. Are there any others here who work these puzzles? I've been doing them since 2008, and over the last 3 years, I began learning techniques on how to solve the really extreme puzzles. Even so, there's probably people out there who could still eat me for lunch.
  2. Pray what you feel. You don't have to speak eloquently or formally. "Lord Jesus, I need a lawnmower. Amen" When I wake up in the morning, I say "Good morning, Father." When I eat, I just say "Thank you, Lord." Your methods may vary.
  3. I fiddled around with the ages once, and if the years are literal, then Methuselah either died in the flood or right before it.
  4. I love traditional JRPG's, especially the SNES and PS1 games. I grew up with Final Fantasy, later went on to Wild Arms, Breath of Fire, and Shadow Hearts. Most PS2 and PS3 games kind of lost me with their oversaturation of anime in most recent releases.
  5. As someone who has experienced this, I know it is a hard battle, but you CAN overcome it. Prayer is significant, but you still have to make the decision to resist those thoughts and temptations when they come. Whether by talking to God, or by finding something else to keep busy. A close friend of mine advised me to do like Jesus when He was tempted. Quote the Scriptures. Say "It is written" followed by Scriptures. A good one I like to use when resisting tempting thoughts is Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."
  6. Same here. If I tried to run, I'd be sucking wind so bad that anyone with a half mile of me would suffer from oxygen deprivation.
  7. Far better ways to deal with a baby born from rape. There are tons of couples (some with infertility issues) who would LOVE to adopt.
  8. To echo what a previous user posted, I liken it to eating food sacrificed to idols. The thing that bothers me is not the physical exercise, but the "emptying of mind" or whatever the goal is. IMO, clearing the mind is akin to the Scripture talking about the man's house being clean and in order, with the expelled spirit returning with a bunch of his buddies.
