  1. That's it! My initial reason for choosing that username was to remind myself to trust in the Lord but I'm happy that it can remind others, too! Thank you for sharing that! ❤️
  2. What a beautiful prayer. Thanks Marilyn ❤️
  3. Thanks Steven! I love what you wrote in your signature about the simplicity of salvation. It's a great reminder - sometimes my analytical mind makes things more complicated than it needs to be.
  4. Thank you Becky. You totally get me! I appreciate your warm welcome. ❤️
  5. Haha. This response warmed my heart. I am open to fellowship with people of all ages and am enjoying getting to know the older ladies at my church. I was just saying that I know that I can't call them out of the blue on a Saturday night to hang because they all have different obligations than me since they're at a different stage in life. But I'm looking forward to using the chat feature here because I can log in at any time and hopefully gain some encouragement from the Worthy community. And I accept encouragement from believers of any age group! Haha Proverbs 3:5
  6. Wow what a powerful testimony! How amazing that you gave your life to Christ just 4 weeks before your stroke. It reminds me of the story of Job. God allowed Satan to test him, and he still remained faithful, just like you You're an inspiration. Thanks for sharing!
  7. Hi there! I'm 29 years old and as of November 2018 I'm a born-again Christian! Although I'm fortunate enough to have found a wonderful church, there's not many members there my age so I don't have many opportunities for fellowship outside of Sunday School and Bible Study. That's why I'm here. Before I became born-again, I was a Christian, but was surrounded by unbelievers and the association did not go well for my spiritual life. What I'm hoping to gain from Worthy Christian is a space where I can fellowship with other believers so I can stay encouraged. ❤️
  8. Hi Emilie! Welcome! (although I am new here as well hehe!) Fear, anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideations used to grip me as well before I became born-again, and a lil bit after, but I've found that all to fall away once I began to learn more about Christ, be comfortable in my own skin, and truly understand the definition of repentance. Congrats on getting your GED and license! That and the fact that you belong to a church as well as using resources like this show that you're on the right path! Personal study is great but I find that fellowship has been very helpful to me on my journey. I hope there's someone at your church who you can talk to about cultivating a stronger relationship with Jesus? I'll be praying for you! <3
