  1. My apologies.... I wrote it backwards. Mercy is not receiving what we deserve. Grace is receiving what we do not deserve.

REVELATION 1:8 8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” REVELATION 22:13 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” JOHN 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. REVELATION 1:8 8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” REVELATION 1:12 12 Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking to me, and on turning I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man

  6. Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

  9. Very well said! There is nothing wrong with desiring the gifts. When we seek 1st the Kingdom of God then there is nothing our Father would not withhold from us. My Pastor did a series called "the Nines" (Edgewater Church TV on Youtube) He starts in Genesis 24 and then links the 9 gifts of the Spirit to the 9 fruits of the Spirit. Genesis 24:10 "Then the servant took ten of his master's camels and departed, taking all sorts of choice gifts from his master; and he arose and went to Mesopotamia to the city of Nahor. " The servant (helper) is a figurative of the Holy Spirit. Hebrew אֱלִיעֶזֶר ('Eli'ezer) meaning "my God is help". He rode 1 camel while 9 camels are loaded down with "choice gifts" The "well" is a figurative of the church & baptism. It is where we go to get refreshed, renewed, washed with the Word etc etc... Genesis 24:14 ‘Drink, and I will water your camels’—let her be the one whom you have appointed for your servant Isaac. By this I shall know that you have shown steadfast love to my master.” Genesis 24 22 When the camels had finished drinking, the man took a gold ring weighing a half shekel, and two bracelets for her arms weighing ten gold shekels, 23 and said, “Please tell me whose daughter you are. Is there room in your father's house for us to spend the night?” Would the servant 'Eli'ezer (helper) have stayed at the house of Rebekah's father had the camels (gifts) not been welcome?
  10. ... and we have not because we ask not. We should always seek the giver of the gift and not the gifts themselves.
  11. Is the Sun & the Moon located in heaven? ouranos: heaven Original Word: οὐρανός, οῦ, ὁ Part of Speech: Noun, Masculine Transliteration: ouranos Phonetic Spelling: (oo-ran-os') Definition: heaven Usage: heaven, (a) the visible heavens: the atmosphere, the sky, the starry heavens, (b) the spiritual heavens.
  12. It is no coincidence that there are 9 fruit of the Spirit & 9 gifts of the Spirit.
  13. I understand. I do not want to see all of that stuff either. Porn is like poison and destroys so many lives.
  14. How did you add a picture? I have a picture I would love to add.
