  1. @Takoda From what I've researched, statistically over 60% of AIDS cases is homosexual and bisexual people, mostly men, many also being drug addicts, getting it by sharing needles. Among the rest are heterosexual people after contact with bisexual ones, and heterosexual drug addicts. Then at the end some cases of hospital patients and children through various reasons. Here I don't count all those people from Africa who are injected with it on purpose by evil men with their evil reasons, maybe just to affect statistics. Not taking this problem seriously does not help homosexual people, it's putting their lives at risk. And for what? "Tolerance"? "Political correctness"? Some statistics may have been compromised, but many was not. AIDS is not something to be taken lightly. It surely does not treat its victims lightly.
  2. "If you love me, keep my commands." "If anyone loves me, he will keep my word." So I deduce: if I don't stay in His word (by either falling for homosexual temptations or not repenting from any other sin), I don't love Him, no matter if I claim otherwise. Then if I don't love Him, by this I rejected Him, and I am not welcome in His kingdom. "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." I replied to your post because I felt like my response was there to add to yours, since they seemed to fit. I should have, perhaps, answered directly to the person you directed your words towards. I'm sorry if I caused you any confusion.
  3. If it takes people to hell, that's quite hurtful... But isn't premarital sex basically the only type that causes STD's? You don't hear about it happening to faithful married couples... Homosexual people statistically are less eager to stick to one partner... And homosexuality seems to be at the top of it, since AIDS is mostly a disease of homosexual people... Isn't it over 60% of all AIDS cases? One might think it is God's punishment. (It probably is... "Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.") And how well-known it is that homosexuality does hurt people physically, since they make "love" in unnatural ways... Hemorrhoids and such... And it does hurt them mentally, like you mentioned already, but there is also more to that... Especially if they adopt children... Those children don't have it easy in life, no matter how much people try to deny it... Not forgetting that most pedophiles are homosexual as well... Then when this type adopts, the children fall victim... "Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them." Here it is, God's recipe to a happy marriage. With no way of being applied to homosexual relations... How much suffering must these people bring on themselves and each other... Living outside of God-made natural order... So based on all this... One could easily say that homosexuality does hurt people... It's just that they give their consent...
  4. God brought me where I am now, and for now it looks like this is my last stop. Unless God has other plans, then so be it.
  5. Warsaw, for a big city, is nice. Usually big cities are rather unpleasant, but I didn't feel it there. Somehow, to me, it still has that small town feel to it... People are usually friendly... except for young moms, those are so stressed out, be careful not to be ran over with a baby stroller. (: (May God bless them.) The architecture is a mixture of old and new. You literally see an old palace around glass-covered skyscrapers. It's unique, I suppose. And as in most cities in Poland, there is an "old town" part of it, where older buildings are preserved with special care and create a warm atmosphere... That is where you can go to restaurants, listen to street musicians, buy souvenirs... Warsaw has many sculptures scaterred around, sometimes where you least ecpect it... It is quite fun to find some of them. Also street art, very creative type, often patriotic and grotesque, sometimes covering a whole wall of an old block of flats... sometimes just hiding in a crack of a wall... I liked that there. And of course there is a river going across Warsaw, Wisła, one that goes across the whole country - from the mountains in the South, right to the sea in the North. Used to serve for logistics when cars were not a thing, but now it's just a river... And there is also forests nearby. Forests in Poland are a national treasure, they are very well taken care of and it's a pleasure to walk there. Speaking of national... Not too far from Warsaw there are also National Parks to visit... where sometimes you can run into moose... They are rather cooperative with photographers. (: Poland is a Catholic country, so it is a type of Christianity, just maybe not the nicest type. But because of this, there are many churches that will catch your eye, if you enjoy beautiful architecture. Neo-gothic ones are the most impressive-looking ones to me... In Europe, I notice, churches are typically being abandoned due to lack of believers to attend... But in Poland they still build new churches instead. Jesus Christ was officially announced to be the King of Poland. That is quite an achievement, I think... Although it was also officially announced that Mary is the queen... I personally see this as too much, but in Catholic traditions she is quite an important figure. Anyways. If you ever want to visit, it's rather cheap and there is something for everyone, so you'll probably like it there. People usually do. And you don't need to be scared there like in western europe, since terrorism in Poland is still not a thing...

    Please pray

https://youtu.be/XV81bvG-oK0 https://youtu.be/8YRko54M3_A https://youtu.be/GrV_ZvwZRvw Little songs for your heart... Realize, that what we want is very often nowhere near what we need. He made us, and He is the only one who knows what we really need. Your life is the safest in His hands. He offers you true happiness, one that leaves no room for feeling empty ever again. "My cup is filled and overflowing"... No room for air in it... And I assure you, you CAN see and feel God. Just seek Him for now. "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? So if you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!" https://youtu.be/tZ0nmxq9qnU
  7. I'm grateful for the warm welcome all the kindness I received here... 🙂 @turtletwoThere was more reasons why I felt sad yesterday, obviously I didn't spill out all my private matters here in the public right at the doorstep. But I am feeling better today, the Lord strenghted me, and this forum provided good feelings and some much needed distraction. Thank you for caring, dear stranger... If you'd like to try to know me, you are welcome to do so. 🙂 "I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me"! @DebpSo you're basically Polish-American? The Polish nation is famous for being scattered around the world, so I am not surprised. 🙂 My grandpa was born in the USA, but went to live in Poland where his parents were from... 🙂 As a result, I have family in New York that I never met. Now about where I lived, well, it was many different cities, towns and villages, ha... I lived in Warsaw too at one point. Are you interested in this city?
  8. @Takoda... So I see John S.S and scientists of his preference are making all the rules and deciding where God is right and where He should step away, how Christian of them. Brain this, brain that, what a mighty brain... Did anyone figure out how brain was made yet? No one? "The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness. For what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from His workmanship, so that men are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified Him as God nor gave thanks to Him, but they became futile in their thinking and darkened in their foolish hearts. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images of mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles. Therefore God gave them over in the desires of their hearts to impurity for the dishonoring of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator, who is forever worthy of praise! Amen. For this reason God gave them over to dishonorable passions. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. Likewise, the men abandoned natural relations with women and burned with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. Furthermore, since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, He gave them up to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed, and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant, and boastful. They invent new forms of evil; they disobey their parents. They are senseless, faithless, heartless, merciless." Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things are worthy of death, they not only continue to do these things, but also approve of those who practice them." In the meantime, "discrimination" is a very tricky political term that anyone can use to their advantage since it was designed to fire up arguments, so it's satanic in origin. The Creator set standards of how His creation functions, and whatever methods creation comes up with to rationalize their dissatisfaction with it is irrelevant. By not functioning His way it pays the price whether it chooses to acknowledge it or not. Because, as always, new levels of wickedness are seen as progress in the wicked world. And I suppose it is progress in a way, since it is progressing us to the end times. "The grass withers, and the flower falls, but the word of the Lord remains forever", whether people stay in His word or not. They are free to progress away to their death if they choose so. Indeed.
  9. I'm originally from Poland. So it seemed that I won't have trouble learning the language here, since Polish and Croatian are relatively similar. Turns out it makes it harder for me though. It's almost like unlearning your language and replacing it with a butchered version of it, ah, twisting my little brain... 🙂 Plus in every part of the country the language is slightly different, so it is not always enough to speak some of the basic version of it... Oh, complications. If you ever want to hear stories about some european countries and languages, I might be able to help, haha.
  10. Thank God for you all... I'm gonna have to check out the chatroom and other places after getting some sleep, suddenly it's 2am already, that's not good... God bless you...
  11. I'm sorry if it's gonna be repetitive what I'm about to say, I just strongly felt like saying it before I even read all the other replies... Homosexuality is a TEMPTATION that some face more, some less, some not at all. But like any other temptation, you CAN RESIST it. "Resist the devil and it shall flee". Many people don't believe it, but it is true that some people with God's help did resist this temptation and are not homosexual anymore. We are basically programmed to laugh when we hear about it before we even give it a thought and look it up, but it is true nontheless, and you can go talk to those people, as they openly give their testimonies and can be found, if you just look. They also offer support to those who are still struggling. Nothing is impossible to God. I have to mention also, one of the fruits of the Spirit is self-control. So with this, no temptation is tempting enough. And about love. Today's view on what it is has little to do with the truth. Or the Truth. Love is NOT a feeling. It is a choice. As God is choosing to love us, the unworthy, we choose to love our neighbors, parents, husbands or wives, children and our enemies, even if they do nothing to deserve it. While feelings, so unstable and untrustworthy, well, "it deceived you before and it will deceive you again". I was thinking sometimes, and fearing, what if God followed His feelings like people do? He would just wipe us all off the face of the Earth, since our sin abhors Him beyond our imagination... "But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do." Many just love the sin too much to even try and resist it, hence why they choose to believe the lies like "I was born this way" and all the rest of that. This, I believe, is due to lack of fear of God, which is "the beginning of wisdom". And they give in to the lust, the pleasure of the body, the sin, the worldly understanding of "love", the wrong terminology of it all. Even worse if at the same time they claim to love God, maybe even believe it, but "due to lack of knowledge" are trying to "serve two masters". The world makes people believe all kinds of lies, this is why it is so important to know the Bible. If I started putting every Bible quote here that can explain this issue that we're on right now, I'd end up quoting the whole Bible, because one part explains/confirms the other and it goes on and on until all of them together give you the ultimate answer... How many times are we reminded to not be of the world while being in it? "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." And why is it all so much about following His will? Is He a dictator that wants us to do whatever He says no matter if it hurts us? Of course not. It is so, because, since He is the one who made us and knows us best, He also knows what is best for us, while we usually have no clue. So if it ever seems to "hurt" to follow His will, it is so because it hurts our pride ("source of all sin") or we're just too small to understand it, or both... And that's how you find that you don't trust God over your own little mind that He created, which is equivalent to putting yourself above Him... Which is the strongly promoted by the world "self-love", self-worship, being "your own god"... "But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God — having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth." If you struggle with homosexual temptations and believe to truly love God, you have to study the Bible like your life depends on it - because it does. If you find any excuses to not take the Bible seriously, you do not love God. Simple as that. "Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’" Now when it's off my chest, I'm gonna go on and read other replies... Edit: I see there's many wise replies already, thank God.
  12. It's the country I moved to. Ah, I do know a church here, but since it's all in Croatian, I don't get most of what they say there. Thank you both for taking time to read and reply, God bless.
  13. Hi, fellow new person... I'd basically just confirm what others already said... Plus something from me, I find it helpful to sing and listen to songs such as "What I know" by Tricia Brock... God bless you...
  14. Hi there, I'm new here... Was just feeling a bit lonely lately, as I moved to a new country and don't speak the language well enough just yet... So I can't make any friends, and making Christian friends is even harder, as there is not that many Christians in general... I mean, those that actually know and respect the Bible... And those are the kind that I'd like to be friends with... So perhaps here I could find someone to talk to? Females, as I am a female too... Would be wonderful... I'm actually feeling sad today. "Your rod and your staff, they comfort me"... I was reading this... But you know how sometimes you just need fellowship...
