  1. God cares for us so much that he has obligated himself to help us endure our afflictions, to produce goodness from them, and to resolve them as he deems best. Sometimes we may not understand his method or technique but we just have to trust in his promise to "never leave us nor forsake us", that he will "come to our aid". I know God is going to accomplish the work he has started in my life, I just pray that I accept and endure what ever method he has chosen to use to accomplish it. Although the thought of another battle terrifies me, I trust that God will give.me the strength to endure because I know that he will "never leave me nor forsake me" "he will come to my aid". God is fixing something in my life right now, and I know it might not happen the way I want it to , but I know his fixing it though and it will be fixed, and I will testify about it soon. I pray that my faith is not shaken or moved until victory is mine. Glory be to YAHWEH
  2. Hope nothing makes run @BeauJangles thanks for the heads up.
  3. Thank you so much, I always struggle, when posting, which category to use, which is why I always use the "worthy welcome". Thanks for your warm welcome and advise. And God bless to all.
  4. “Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.” -Psalm 25:5 Lord, I don’t know what lay before me today, but I commit it all to you. Please give me strength and courage to get through the joys, challenges and happenings of the day. I thank you for my life and for all that I have; I commit this day to you. No matter what happens, I know you have me in the palm of your hand. In Jesus Christ’ name I pray, amen.
  5. After watching this clip , I finally got the joke lol🙊
  6. It's exam season, during this time students are preparing for exams. Even the the ones who always skipped class, late on assignment submissions. They begging lectures to be lenient when calculating their "duly performance scores" because they want to be in that exam room. Why is it? Because they know to move to the next level they have to go through these examination. Are the exams going to be easy ? No, But I still want to be examined and to pass. Now this got me thinking about life, why is it that when we face trials, we run away, we give up, we complain and we blame God, why dont we eagily accept these trials, why don't we prepare ourselves for them, why don't we thank God for the opportunity of being trialed and tested by him, cause the rules are the same there is a valuable reward at the end. Don't we want to advance in life as we want to academically? "I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give to each man according to his ways, According to the results of his deeds.(Jeremiah 17:10) If he tests me, he will reward me according to my results. If you run away from challanges you will not grow, you will not reach your full potential. Allow God to refine you, it won't be easy , ask Job he will tell you. "But He knows the way I take; When He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold."(Job 23:10) As I prepare myself for my academic exam, I might face a bigger trial and I accept the possibility. I am partially sighted and I did not inform the University of this, I assumed by the time I write my exams I would have my hard contacts, but yesterday my order arrived and it wasn't a perfect fit , so they had to go back and I don't know if they will be back in time, but it is well with me. "Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts"(Psalm 139:23) I don't want to be a weak Christian, who only praises God when things are going my way , I want him to know that even through the hard times I will continue to love and honor him. I have written without them I can do it again. What about you ?"Will it be well when He examines you? Or will you deceive Him as one deceives a man?""(Job 13:9) So let me tell you that the trials and tribulations you face, are nothing compared to the reward that awaits you "each man's work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man's work."(1 Corinthians 3:13) Be blessed
  7. Welcome Emenike and God bless
  8. Thank you so much for your comment, and for the reminder, I assure you I have not forgotten it. I am just sharing my life's experiences , blessings to me do not only refer to riches but to breakthroughs in my life, some of us face much more than just financial constraints, and these words I share give me hope and keeps the faith alive and that is what I am sharing. I hope anyone who reads my posts don't think I am telling them God will make them rich or wealthy or that they must invest on earthly things or material things, I am saying whatever you going through, "is not to harm you but to prosper you" and those are the plans God has for you "hold on joy will come in the morning ". Hope no one is mislead by my posts Thanks again Willa
  9. At our evening family prayer today, I struggled to find a scripture to read, I looked and looked , page after page, verse after verse nothing spoke to me. I was so excited about reading the word today , so I was kind of dissapointed that I couldn't. My uncle than suggested that I open "Zacharia 2: 4" we prayed, after prayer he says " that I am blessing you with this word , see when you feel like the walls are caving in on you, just know that God will break down those walls, not to leave you exposed or vulnerable, but to allow space for the multitude of blessings to come your way and he himself will be the consuming fire that surrounds you to protect you and your blessings" wow now I know why God wouldn't let me share any word with anyone today, he wanted me to be on the receiving end, he wanted me to hear this , so I went to the scripture and read it from verse 1 " Then I looked up, and there before me was a man with a measuring line in his hand. I asked, “Where are you going?” He answered me, “To measure Jerusalem, to find out how wide and how long it is.” While the angel who was speaking to me was leaving, another angel came to meet him and said to him: “Run, tell that young man, ‘Jerusalem will be a city without walls because of the great number of people and animals in it. And I myself will be a wall of fire around it,’ declares the Lord , ‘and I will be its glory within.’ “Come! Come! Flee from the land of the north,” declares the Lord , “for I have scattered you to the four winds of heaven,” declares the Lord . “Come, Zion! Escape, you who live in Daughter Babylon!” For this is what the Lord Almighty says: “After the Glorious One has sent me against the nations that have plundered you—for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye" People might measure your walls and think you are caved in, think you have no more space to grow, think you are confined within those walls, but God is saying to those measuring your walls, these walls will not exist for long soon they will be no limit to your prosperity, no boundaries to your growth and nothing can dare try to stand against that because you will be fortified , surrounded by the consuming fire because you are the apple of his eye. If you feel like the walls are caving in remember the message passed to the man with a measuring line. Passing on the blessing, be blessed in Jesus Christ name.
  10. For a very long time, i had been indeniel about my short comings, my pride would never let me admit when I have failed, so I never took any valuable lesson from those failures, I never overcame them because I denied they existed. How many of us are living a stagnant life, just because we could never say "I was wrong, I am sorry" or "please help, I am not familiar with this task" I know I used to be one of them, let me tell you that when you ignore a problem and pretend that it is not there, it does not go away. If you fall and pretend as if you just laying down voluntarily, no one will help you up. " I also tell you this; if two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask , my father in heaven will do it for you"(Matthew 18) admit that you can not do it on your own, be humble. Let me tell you about the humbleness of fisher men, familiar with the rough sea and rough winds, but when they felt overwhelmed by the current they were not to proud to wake up Jesus and ask for his intervention "Suddenly a strong wind blew up, and the waves began to spill over into the boat, so that it was about to fill with water. Jesus was in the back of the boat, sleeping with his head on a pillow. The disciples woke him up and said, “Teacher, don't you care that we are about to die?”(Mark:4) these fisher men knew they needed help, they did not ignore the situation or just rely on their experience at sea, had they done that the boat would have sank but they called for help , they called for Jesus. Now when you face overwhelming storms in your life, don't try to fix it on your own , call upon Jesus "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect inweakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties" (2 Corinthians:12) God is here for you don't try to hide your weakness. When you call upon Jesus he will silence the raging storm "quiet!” and he said to the waves, “Be still!” The wind died down, and there was a great calm"(Mark 4:39 ) Ever since the day I humbled myself, admitted my faults, my short comings and my weakness, God has been my strength in all the areas I lack. Lying to yourself deprives you the opportunity to conquer, don't delay yourself "call on Jesus, even the wind and the waves listen to him"
  11. George Thankful for the word and lesson you have shared. There is an area in my life which I feel that Satan may use to bind me, I know this but it is so hard letting go.
  12. It's a pleasure to meet you all thank you.
  13. I have been thinking about the children of Israel again, how God had promised them Canaan"the land of milk and honey" "the land of plenty", but when they had to claim their inheritence, their land promised to them by God , they refused to take it ." We are not able to go up against the people, they are stronger than we"(numbers) How many of us , pray and God answers our prays ,but we refuse to see the answer to our prayer, all we see is obsticles that stand before us and what we have been granted by God, what's rightfully ours, because of fear we backdown. We magnify the obsticles instead of keeping our eye on the promise land. “The land, through which we have gone to spy it out, is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people that we saw in it are of great height. 33 And there we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak, who come from the Nephilim), and we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers, and so we seemed to them.”(numbers) Than we turn round and say God doesn't answer our prayers, we turn around and deprive God of his glory, people don't see God's work in your life so they don't see the need to change their ways and follow your God. God does not lie ,"his promises are yes and amen" 12 men were sent to spy out the land of Canaan, under God's instruction through Moses, they came back with a report “We came to the land to which you sent us. It flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit". (numbers) what God had promised them is exactly what they found in Canaan, so what was the problem? "The Giants" Let me tell you that the Giants that you are allowing to block you from your blessings, are there to prepare your blessing and safe guard your blessing until your arrival, but because you are focusing on their size and not on the size of the God who is giving you this land, you will stay in the wilderness for more years. Think about it why we're the plants, fruits, cows that produce milk, bees that produce honey bigger than normal? Because the people who inhabited the land were also not normal, they had to be giants so the land could be what God had promised it would be. Now likewise with the problems you see before you start viewing them as just mere giants only there to genetically modify your blessings. Don't look at the size of the giants look at the size of your God and than go ahead and enter Canaan. Thinking this way is helping me with the Giant I am currently facing. Started my Law studies in 2010 and for 6 years I have allowed the giants to scare me, but I have since went back to school and I am going to finish my studies, No giant will stand in my way.
  14. Thank you for the warm welcome and advice. God bless you too.
