  1. One doesn't have to 'make up' any doctrine, as long as one adheres to 'sound' doctrine. Scripture is clear. It takes only basic understanding to grasp Truth. It takes careful study and opposition to Truth to really mix it up. Jesus was clear about the fate of the lost. He said it would be better had they never been born if they harm one of His 'little ones'. Us little ones believe Him. Those who are big (in their own eyes) oppose Truth and sound doctrine.
  2. Hell is not only a place but it is also a spirit being, just as is Death. Both spirits: Death and Hell are cast into the Lake of Fire, along with Satan and every single person who worships The Beast and his image or receives the mark of The Beast. All liars have their place in hell, along with every un-saved soul. God the The Only Judge Who decides their fate; but it doesn't end and it is eternal, conscious torment in flames. The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
  3. We know that much of Daniel's prophecy has yet to be fulfilled, but in addition: I've often read the Book of Enoch, due to it being quoted in Scripture. There's a lot in there that is prophetic for the end times.
  4. It is appointed unto men, once: to die; but after this: the judgement. Men will be judged and every soul that does evil will be cast alive into the Lake of Fire where they will be tormented, consciously, forever, according to The Holy Scriptures. And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
  5. We're praying for you. Stay focused on The Lord and He'll lift you up.
  6. God bless you. I bless you. I've been where you are and hope that you will keep your eyes focused on Christ and not on lost people, other Christians or (worst of all) Christians or rather 'professing' Christians who hold people in your position in contempt. I once had to point out to my pastor at a church that I belonged to and was a security guard at that the homeless guy that was dirty, discheveled and smelly... that he just might be God knocking on our door. We know that Jesus will say to many, "I was hungry and you didn't feed me..." and yet so many turn their nose up when He's laying in the street wounded, naked, thirsty or hungry. We will get treatment from our God exactly the way we treat our fellow-man. The law of reciprocity is always in force: whatever you sow is what you will reap.
  7. We please God just fine, or He would have not been able to save us from our sins. His selection of us from among the lost proves that He has been pleased, and His Grace is extended to us by the faith we have in Christ that God has given us. We have nothing to brag about, not even our so-called 'adulthood' in faith, but we can brag about our God and His Great Grace. Those who come to Him do so most times out of fear. It takes fear to begin to have wisdom. When we come to know God our initial fear changes to holy reverence. When we draw close to Him and come to know Him as an all-consuming fire: the fear comes back, because it is a great and terrible thing to fall into The Hands of The Living God.
  8. Good advice from all. God makes His Voice known. If your child sat in your lap, you wouldn't ignore him. God is a better father than you. He always has something to say to each of His children. He longs for your presence way more than you long for His. He wants you to be still and know that He has got this. Whatever it is that concerns you: He's got this. Cast the whole of your care and worry over onto Him, because He cares more about you than you do. I didn't say do nothing, I merely said that worrying and being fretful over things is not going to solve anything. He wants us to trust in Him: He's trustworthy. Focus on whatever is true, just, right, good and praiseworthy. Believe that you shall see His Goodness in your life. Expect Him to lead, guide and direct you in all Truth. He shall. He said that you would seek and search for Him and that you would FIND Him when you seek and search with all of your heart. He's never yet been caught in a lie. Those that wait upon The Lord shall renew their strength. Wait. Sit quietly and listen to His Word in your heart. He is The Living Word and His Word is alive inside of you. Besides taking up the cross and following Jesus: I believe that the next most important lesson that today's church has neglected is teaching believers how to listen to and hear The Voice of God for themselves. It takes consecration and dedication. Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you. The portion of your heart and mind that if focused upon Him determines the depth and intimacy of the relationship that you will have with Him. You have ALL of the relationship with God today that you believed Him for, yesterday. Today, draw closer. Seek Him more than yesterday. Increase that search every day. Make today's relationship closer than yesterday's. He is the True Manna that fell from Heaven. Seek and search for fresh Manna from His Holy Word every single day, because yesterday's Manna will not be sufficient for today. Growing closer to Him should be your goal... every single day.
  9. We're praying for you, Cjohn, but don't turn your nose up at charity. You're in the exact situation that it was designed for: fallen upon hard times. I trust that the lessons that God wants to make good use of in your future will make you realize just how important a real, dynamic and active relationship with The Living God is and that you grow in every area as you go THROUGH this experience. This is not your destiny. God has a design for your life. Ask Him to speak to you, personally, about what you need to be doing / not doing as you go through this. Listen. He will answer. He always does. Too many don't realize the blessings God has for those who wait in silence, trusting Him ESPECIALLY when things look their worst. He will deliver. Whether it's GoFundMe, Salvation Army, handouts or hand-ups; He knows what your next steps are and He will lead, guide and direct you in all Truth. Everything you need for life and godliness are in His Word. I suggest that you read Psalms and Proverbs out loud to yourself and expect God's Presence. He will turn up. He always reveals Himself to those who seek and search for Him with their whole heart.
  10. Finally: go out into the street and beg them to come in.
  11. You believe that Jesus has saved you from your sins by His sacrifice on the cross and believe that He is your Lord: you're saved. Believe it. Know it. God doesn't lie. Jesus said that if you believe in Him: you're saved. Now, as time goes by, God will change your heart and mind in ways that you don't think are even possible right now. You are a new man: a believer. You're a child of The King, a Citizen of Heaven. You're no longer an earthling; you're Heavenly. God lives inside you. He will speak to you and give you everything you need pertaining to life and godliness. He started this work in you and He will finish it. Keep your faith in The God Who lives inside of you, not in the doctrines that you can grasp with your mind but in The Holy Spirit, Who is The Living God by Whom you are sealed unto judgement day. Keep your eyes on Him, not on religion or even your fellow Christians. Focus on Christ and follow Him, everywhere He leads you. He will guide you and direct your steps.
  12. I've always thought of the definition of sin to be: selfishness. It was Satan's first sin: "I will be like the Most High..."
  13. The first 'heaven' is the sky, the second: outer space so the third heaven is the topic: Heaven, God's Home (although He also makes His Home in us).
  14. One might say it’s the only thing worth focusing on, since God is love!
  15. Always remember to focus on The Gift-Giver. Too many fall when they lose focus and major in 'gifts' and lose sight of Him Who gives the gifts. Pray that he might use someone else, even someone who has never stepped out in giftings before, but let Him know that if no one else is available that He may make use of you. That is walking in humility, which is the currency of Heaven.
  16. Sin is harmful. God wants us to be holy as He is Holy. We are protected from harm if we don't sin. It is possible to live holy, or God would not instruct us to be holy. He wants us to live long and lead others to love and honor Him. Christ Jesus gave His Life so that we could live forever. God gave us instructions on how to live free and safe lives. He loves us and loves everyone. He wants everyone to be saved from their sins but the only way that is possible is through Jesus. Jesus saith unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
  17. Everyone who's born again will enter Heaven and the New Heaven and New Earth will be different in that: there will be no stain of sin on either. The access to both will be granted to all. God doesn't create barriers for His children, He obliterated the barrier when Jesus died on Calvary. Some will abide closer to Him in Heaven, due to their closeness with Him in this life and there are degrees of reward just as there are degrees of punishmen; but no one will be denied access into Heaven. We are citizens of Heaven already and The Kingdom is what we are to proclaim. The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. It is here, now. We have the joy and honor of sharing this Kingdom with others. We are to bring Heaven to earth. God isn't going to do any more until we do. Jesus is expecting until His enemies are brought to His Feet. We are to bring them. He is seated at God's Right Hand. His Works are complete. He handed us the victory over ALL the power of the enemy. We need to enforce that victory in this world and bring Him the great harvest. He's coming back for a victorious church, not a dead, faithless one. We have to join one another to do this, not fight over un-important opinions on minor details. We need to unite with other believers and get the job done.
  18. I believe that conception, meaning using an egg in Mary and the spermatozoon from the Holy Ghost, took place in her uterus; in order for Christ to be All God and All Man.

    Prophecy

Paul said, "Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy and forbid not to speak with tongues." We ALL (believers) can prophesy, we simply have to ask God for Him to use us to speak forth what He wants us to say. Jesus said: "Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto The Kingdom of Heaven is like unto a man that is a householder which bringeth forth out of his treasure: things new and old." He meant that we should be not just remembering things we know when we speak but learning from The Spirit of Prophecy that which we need to speak. The testimony of Jesus is: The Spirit of Prophecy!
  21. He was punished for every man's sin and suffered more than anyone can know (in this life). He suffered the shame of our sin, was mocked by soldiers, punched, told to prophesy who hit Him, jeered by the crowds, spat on, whipped, stripped, forced to carry his cross, nailed to it and then assumed the punishment of sinners: death. It is this fact: that One Who did not deserve death (He had never sinned) suffered death; and this miscarriage of justice gives Him the right to confer His Life (eternal) upon those who put their faith in Him, since He took our punishment for being sinners (death). You and I never have to die. He said that we would never see Death (the evil spirit known as 'Death') since we believe in Him. We may lose our mortal bodies (die) but will be taken into His Presence immediately. It's why the Psalmist said: "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the 'shadow' of death..." He was describing the death of a believer. We will pass from life into life, through the valley of the shadow of Death. You've never heard of the shadow of a dog biting anyone, right? Death cannot harm us, either. We are freed from Death by His Blood!!!
  22. Scripture states that Jesus was 'conceived' in Mary, not placed there as an embryo. I believe Scripture.
  23. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. I've been to Heaven, and I was out of my body. As I left my body, I was praying but as I went up, while still in the prayer room, approaching the ceiling, I could hear my body singing praises to The Lamb and there were several ladies who were also previously praying, who then sang the chorus, "Glory to The Lamb," and as I went up I began to hear angels join the chorus. My body was singing FAR better than I've ever heard a human being sing and I knew where I was going, because I could already see the Fountain of Life. Blue droplets of water, representing the life that God gives to the earth, were dripping down strings that were attached to the fountain. Also, green droplets, much greater in number, were ascending along those same strings, representing the worship arising from creation. In Heaven there is nothing hidden. You know what God is thinking. He knows what you're thinking. Everyone can know everyone else' thoughts. There is complete transparency. I knew, standing in His Presence, that I could not bring one tenth of one percent of what I was experiencing back into a body that has a limited number of brain cells. Eternity just doesn't fit into temporal bodies. It was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had. It started years earlier, at Heritage Christian Fellowship, in Florence, Kentucky. The church had a service every Friday night as God instructed the pastor. He was preaching years ago and noticed a man come in the back door while he was preaching. He said that he was disheveled and beggarly looking, completely worn out and barely able to walk and he leaned on every single pew as he made his way forward. He kept preaching as the man approached and then as he stepped ankle deep into water, Pastor Cleddie realized it was an open vision. He kept preaching as if nothing was happening, but watched as the man went knee-deep, waist-deep and then went under (there was no water in the church). He came out to the one side, refreshed, strengthened and in a new suit of clothes, a new man and proceeded to walk out right through the wall. As he continued to preach, God told him that this was what He wanted to do to the Body of Christ every Friday night, if he would let Him. He has obeyed and had a 'river' meeting every Friday since that sermon. I went to those services for years and always enjoyed God's Presence in every meeting. The prayer room was soaked with anointing every Friday night that I went to intercede for the meeting. Every time I intercede: I walk around as I pray. In that room, from the very first time I went in there, I could not step in this one spot. It was strange, but I knew it was okay, but there was just something 'holy' about that spot. I could close my eyes, walk around the room and then point to the spot without looking. It felt like gravity was stronger there, or something. I knew it was God. One Friday, when I walked into the prayer room, I knew that it was time to step on that spot. When I did, I left my body. Pastor Cleddie Keith most always concludes the gathered prayer warriors in a closing prayer right before the meeting and will end his prayer and then say: "Let's go out here and see what God wants us to do." It's always different, always good and always God!
  24. One of the things I often think about when I think of those in Heaven is the fact that there are more people alive than the total of all those who have passed away. This explains why God is saving the best of His Works until the end. The harvest will be great!!!
  25. I recommend, "The Day I was Crucified," by Gene Edwards. Short, but well worth the read. I've read it several times. My favorite author is: Rick Joyner. The, "Final Quest," trilogy is the most rewarding and stimulating book I've ever read (besides, of course, the Holy Bible). It gives insight into spiritual warfare and what is about to happen in the earth. It's Rick's recount of a vision that he received over a period of ten years and is groundbreaking. His ministry is great, too: https://www.MorningStarMinistries.org. He's in the middle of a new series now, I just haven't bought any of them yet.
