  1. Matthew 24: 7-24 King James Version (KJV) 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. 15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. 23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 2. Oh, there are many in the Leadership of the Catholic Church including popes I would not trade places with on judgement day! Being a voracious reader of history and God being The Judge of Judges, I have enough under the blood on my own. Considering the position of the Catholic Church on their Popes and reading some of "their" writings; I world not want to answer to God for such! I have some of the writing from noted Jewish "defenders of their faith" against those that believe in Yeshua (Jesus) that are just as vial in some aspects as what Martin Luther wrote about Jews. Hate is hate and comes from the same source. I choose to ignore such filth and rather focus in the fact that God loves all of us so much He took on flesh and died on a cross so each one of us have the opportunity to spend eternity with Him. He will NOT force us as He want us to choose Him. Martin Luther is an example as to what can happen to even the mighty in the faith. Was he suffering from dementia or is that just an excuse to cover for him? I don't know! I do know the Lutheran Church should condemn the writings of Anti-Semitism even if they defend the man stronger than they do.
  3. Thank you Turtle! Messianic Judaism is just what Jesus lived while He was alive in Israel since He was a Jew. Non-Jewish believers are not bound by any customs or traditions and neither are believing Jews. The the key word is "bound". Not many Christians are aware that when Jesus returns and rules the earth for a "millennia" from the throne of David in Jerusalem it is not going to be all apple pie and icecream. Mankind that survives the Tribulation will have to obey God's laws as administered by Jesus as will their children born during this 1000 year reign. Revelation 19:11-16 King James Version (KJV) 11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords. The whole world will learn of God's ways upon Jesus's return. Not many modern Christian denominations teach about the Reign of Jesus Christ for a Millennium upon the earth before the new earth and new Jerusalem come to mankind. Revelation 20:4-6 King James Version (KJV) 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. Read the 65th Chapter of Isiah for more details as well as Rev. 19 and 20.
  4. Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. We non-Jews are not bound by any yoke but we are free to worship God with our Messianic Jewish brothers and sisters as they honor their customs. I have worshiped God in more liberal synagogues with non-believing Jews that understood I was a Christian Zionist that accepted me into their midst. As long as the leadership understands your stand in God; I learned from the experiences.
  5. Thank you for your warm welcome.
  6. Most Jews including Orthodox Jews do not accept or recognize Yeshua (Jesus) as the Prophesied Jewish Messiah. There has been a portion of the Jewish people since Yeshua walked this earth that have accepeted and recognized Yeshua (Jesus) as the Prophesied Jewish Messiah and they formed the orginal Church in Jerusalem including the Apostles. Their has throughout history always been that faithful remanat within the Jewish people though not always recognised or treated as they as they should be by the Non-Jewish dominated Christian denominations.
  7. Truth is truth wheather it is believed or not. No one can lead another to faith. Only an open heart and mind seaking truth can find it. Matthew 7:7-8 King James Version (KJV) 7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Anyone that says they must have the Bible or God proven to them is not open nor are they seeking God or the truth. Their mind is already made up and anything you offer them they will have an excuse to reject. Only after they are humbled by the world they will be open to hear. One can offer the way of salvation to another but one can not save another for only Yeshua can do that. Matthew 7:13-14 King James Version (KJV) 13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
  8. In the first century of the Common Era, tens of thousands of Jewish people followed Yeshua (Jesus), believing him to be the promised Messiah of Israel. They did not renounce their heritage, their customs, nor their people. They remained Jews. Two thousand years later there are Jewish people still following Yeshua, also believing he is the Jewish Messiah and they also have not renonced their heritage, customs, nor their people. Perhaps reading Dr. David H. Stern's book - "Messianic Judaism: A Modern Movement with an Ancient Past could answer some peoples questions. Since the time Yeshua walked the streets of Israel there have been Jewish believers and they don't stop being Jews when they recognize Yeshua as the Messiah of Israel unlike some "Christains" and other Jews think. Christians have not always uniformly demonstrated love for the Jewish people is the understatement of history of the Christian faith. Example in point: Misinformed Christians have wrongly thought that since many Jews have rejected Jesus Christ as their Messiah, that somehow God has rejected His people “Israel” in favor of the “church.” One strident example even comes from one of the most beloved teachers of the early church, John Chrysostom (347-407 A.D.), a leading bishop in Constantinople: The Jews, by rejecting Christ, were changed from children into dogs, the Gentile dogs were changed into children…. The very idea of [a Christian] going from a church to a synagogue is blasphemous; and to attend the Jewish Passover is to insult Christ. To be with the Jews on the very day they murdered Jesus is to ensure that on the Day of Judgment He will say ‘ Depart from Me: for you have had intercourse with my murderers’ (from Saint John Chrysostom’s Eight Homilies Against the Jews). Folks like Jack Van Impe are correct in speaking against such misuse of the Bible. Some have taken this kind of “replacement theology” to the extreme, tolerating or even promoting acts of anti-semitism, or attacks against the Jews. 12. what I said was not intended as an insult. It is fact many inside Christian denominations only attend church 2 times a year and want their pastors or priests to tell them what to believe! They neither attend nor do they do in depth Bible study into the Hebrew or Greek meaning of words or do any serious study of scripture. That is according to studies done by major "religious study groups and denominations." It was not meant as an insult but as an OBSERVATION of reality! It is the reason why the apostle John wrote about the the various types of churches in the Book of Revelations. The same is going on today as I and many others view it. Not all "Christians" are the same and we each can choose what type of Christian we wish to be and as John wrote about which type of church we wish to belong to. So don't criticize me for saying people should be willing to do the work of God when they complain something is too long. If you don't want to then don't! The Bible is not the shortest nor is it the easiest book to read cover to cover and yet I along with many others do regularly, along with studying many individual books and chapters concerning various subjects every year. If you would to go more in depth with this I will gladly do so. PM me.
  13. If I do not have love I am nothing! 1 Corinthians 13 New King James Version (NKJV) The Greatest Gift 13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body [a]to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not [b]puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, [c]thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is [d]perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. 13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
