  1. Thanks for being honest about how you feel. Blood Bought nailed the answer. People are in hell for not accepting Jesus. Thats it. If I went by my feelings I would not have gone to church today. I look at God's Word and believe it, whether I feel like it or not. He cannot lie. Faith is trusting God more than I trust my feelings or circumstances. I am praying for you as I know what you mean by your post. I felt that way too at times but thankfully, ended up staying in the place of trusting God over my feelings. Don't get me wrong. I have questions too, for Him. One day, He'll answer them if really need to know in the end. God bless you!
  2. Sorry, I know you're asking how we tackle the Bible but I must say, you're method really stirred me up to dig into the Word more than I do. Thanks for posting! I like your method of reading God's Word, particularly when you mentioned that you pick up Bibles from charity shops and book exchange boxes. I like having a real Bible in my hand now and again. God bless!
  3. God's love in and through us has to be the foundation of all that we do.
  4. Thank you for being brave enough to share your story here. I am praying for you right now.
  5. Sorry, thought this might not be the best place to post the winter schedule for Hallmark movies. Hehe. I don't watch em'. They make me gag. They film those types of movies all the time in my city.
  6. I agree. I just posted about that on another thread. When we see a sign or wonder, we need to ask who gets the glory. With Hickey, the Lord got the glory.
  7. I am perfectly fine with a woman preaching. The same Spirit resides in her. I recall Marilyn Hickey revealing that the Lord had asked 5 other people to start a healing ministry, or something along these lines, before He got to her. The signs and wonders that went along with her ministry (regardless of whether you thought she was a little strange), along with changed lives, cannot be overlooked.
  8. There is no peace like the peace Jesus brings. This world can never offer that same peace. There is so much more to come for Believers. God talks about ages and ages to come. We cannot even begin to imagine the world God had originally planned and sin messed it all up so much so, that God's only Son had to die to give mankind hope in this life and for eternity.
  9. Awesome post! I believe there needs to be more preaching done about the church. I agree that there are a lot of people that do really know what the church is really for.
  10. Praise the Lord! What a wonderful gift Jesus is from God The Father! Praise His name forever!
  11. UK for me, specifically Scotland, Ireland, and Wales.
  12. Great discussion here. Our church has an event for the kidlets but obviously the focus of the event is Jesus.
  13. Be led by the Holy Spirit. Every situation is different. Some need a lot of scripture. Some only need one or two scriptures. I believe scripture should back the points/ideas I present. Great thread!
  14. Yes, I'd agree that if a child has not reached the age of accountability they will go to Heaven in the Rapture.
  15. Agree! Those who practice/study such things know that these things are "entry points". Did you know that The Exorcist was well-researched before being filmed and it all started with a Ouija Board? Be sober, be vigilant for your adversary the devil roams around like a roaring lion seeking whom he MAY devour.
  16. If I had one question I would ask why I couldn't ask more than one question. Okay, I would ask why did He create Lucifer if He knew that he'd betray Him?
  17. Truth is when one's words and deeds are in alignment with God's Word. Thanks for sharing such a personal post. I am praying for you wherever life takes you next. God bless you!
  18. You know, I didn't think of that. It is a very well run forum. God bless the mods and the founder George!
  19. Well done. You obeyed what you felt was God leading you back to the man. The man chose not to accept the food/love of God. You did what God asked.
