  1. And how will you show Jesus divinity? Muslims believe that the bible is corrupted.
  2. I was born in Pakistan to a muslim family, and hence was born and raised as a muslim. However, I converted to Christianity some years ago. In Islam its considered blasphemy to claim that God has children, and hence its blasphemous to claim that Jesus was the son of God. The deity of christ is considered idoltry. I was told that I must not even wish christians merry Christmas because that would be the same as agreeing that Jesus was the son of God which is blasphemy.
  3. Hi Guys I sometimes come across muslims who proclaim that they also believe in Jesus. That Jesus is a prophet in Islam. Jehovas Witnesses even say they, beside believing in Jesus, also believe in the bible even though they have their own version of the bible. How do you deal or react to such claims made by non-christians?
  4. I know we are Christians but I remember that in religion class I came across a verse in the Quran were Lucifer was mentioned: '' Surely We created you then shaped you, then said to the angels, “Prostrate before Adam,” so they all did—but not Lucifer who refused to prostrate with the others. Allah asked, “What prevented you from prostrating when I commanded you?” He replied, “I am better than he is: You created me from fire and him from clay.” So according to this, Lucifer felt he was better than humans and hence refused to honor or subject himself to humans. Could it be something the Bible agrees with?
  5. I also read in the book of wisdom that the Devil was jealous. But why would he be jealous of Gods relationship with Eve and Adam? I mean, God had relationship with many creatures beside Lucifer already. Why was he in particular jealous of humans? The bible describes the Devil as an enemy of humans. Hence he is also the adversary of humans. But why he hates humans and wants to be our enemy, is a question i wondered about alot.
  6. Thank you for a detailed and good explanation. I just need one clarification. You wrote ''his was prior to tempting Eve in the Garden of Eden, when he spoke through the serpent and became forever after depicted in the reptilian terms dragon and serpent, as in the Book of Revelation.'' What was Satan doing in Gods garden? Does God got opposers in his/her presence/garden?
  7. Which could actually mean that we were made in the image of Elohim (the spiritual family of the most high as well as the most high). This is why the ancient Hebrews referred to God as the most high, because God is also one of the elohim but in order to distinguish God from the other supernatural beings, God was referred to as being the most high which indeed is an accurate description of God. God is the most high and the creator of all of the other elohims.
  8. And they are all doing nothing but spreading evil on our planet?
  9. I hear some christians claim that Lucifer took a third of the angels with him. Is this teaching Biblical or an unbiblical myth? Can anyone reference and show me where the bible says that Lucifer took a third of the angels with him?
  10. The word ''elohim'' is frequently used and at its roots is a plural for god, and hence means gods. I know modern israelis use Elohim for the most high, but in its essence its a plural term. Could it be that the elohims referred to all supernatural, heavenly beings including the angels?
  11. I think you are totally right. It wouldn't surprise me if the number of angels were more than 100 million. Lucifer used to be one of them before his or her fall. But that shows that the most high already had a heavenly family. ''Let us create man in our image'' might be the heavenly family and the most high saying it. The Hebrew bible use the word ''elohim'' (gods) which might include the angels. From a human standpoint, the heavenly beings would seem like gods because of their supernatural nature and overwhelming power over humans, hence the word ''elohim''.
  12. Could it be that the most high and the angels were the ones saying that ''let us create man in our image?''
  13. Do me a favour and stop answer my questions, as I am not interested in any of your answers @Selah7
  14. I am sorry to hear your story. Many of us have been broken which lead us to the Lord. I have also seen lots of bad mothers out there - I won't give the honorable title of "mother" to such evil creatures though - I would rather call them egg donors. But the bible clearly states that the Lord will never abandon us like our mother's did. The most high is the best parent that we could ever have.
