  1. Thank you for your post,I've posted a few bolgs I've read ,that deal with Zionism which is a pretty big subject amoung Christians and politicians ,,it effects the lives of Jews Palestinians christians/ muslims, the blogs have been about false teaching of Israelies About if Israel is an illegal state according to Gods law. who is a Jew etc.most have been taken down..I would have to say it might be a political Zionist site and not Christian at all.I can't support political Zionism so I think ,I won't bother with the website much anymore..it doesn't seem like a free open space to share in love .it can get quite contentious its a bit worse than secular sites to be honest because you either get policed secretly by George who I don't Concider a brother in Christ because he continually doesn't notify me of his problems with my posts but just removes them which is disrespectful to those who have commented or found interest or disagreement,, or you get hounded by his cronies..quite bazaar really .George is either offering a service or he's playing king or dictator..I just wanted to see other people experience .I saw bad reviews too ,sometimes it helps to know to make better informed decisions .thanks for your post.
  2. Yes your right I was reading about Palestine its been ruled by many forces from Christ's time to now it never was really a country but a territory with a kind of ruler or occupiers over it Jordan also at one time.as I understand Palestine and Israel don't have boarders on all sides their is the green line on the west in theory a country without boarders is not a country at all this is why palestine is not a country and the united nations had to acknowledge boarders in the north and in Gaza for Israel but they don't have a bordered territory like other coumtires where law of a country is applied with in it. in some Areas (zones) Palestine has jurisdiction. One Israeli was arrested for crossing the boarder to Jordan he got a severe sentence . There is the green line its illegal for Isralies to cross but no boarder exists .mount of olives side. I read The land was not desolate but inhabited by Bedouin tribes...who sold out to the British eventually from the ottomans I think ??? Something like this ,,? There were fightings and muslim conversions and many things a whole long complicated history ,people said of south Africa," it was not inhabited "but it was by khoi San ,Zulus Tswana etc.the same lies,Israel is in many ways so similar to apartheid south Africa theologicaly.the Afrikaners thought it was the promised land too.A crazy Calvinists mix with nationalistic ideas later on.I remember after apartheid I had a black friend we went to the shops it was very horrible (because of comments and looks we got),how we can have such barriers in our minds !!!..wow Interesting idea perspective you have on the land in history and the giants something to think about ...,I still don't see from a spiritual point of view God wanting his people in that land for any reason today that's why Christians except for the Crusaders haven't moved back. I think" Israel "will be short lived historically its not established upon God's Promise's "of the heavenly kingdom "we inherit . There is no physical land in the new covenant only a heavenly kingdom and a new heavens and earth .....I hope what I wrote makes sense.thanks for your comment ...input ideas...I really appreciate it .its nice to get a different idea to hear to share to learn ,I hope you had have a good day .
  3. Interesting insight ,very considerate point of view .grace is a word that comes to mind when I read this ...thanks that's good for me to remembered today as I have some personal situations...❤thank you my sister
  4. I understand you ,sorry ...my brother ,its very sad hay, I was hoping to bring awareness to people who think all is dandy for israeland that our father might have done this , and how not only are Palestinians suffering but " isralies "also...they really need to hear the good news hay .thank you for your time and comment .
  5. Humm...the new covenant and Jesus are left out of this plan....Jesus fulfilled the law and the Prophets I too have heard this ....but... Sadly most Ethiopians are treated very badly and Russians can't marry because they are not Jewish enough there were/are DNA test for them as if rabbinical Judaism is not a faith ..?but yes Ethiopians are Semites the language is Semitic but I wouldn't say 'Jewish 'as rabbinic Judaism would require many/almost all, are converted in Israel .Some African tribes resemble Judaism and were influenced by Jews ,like some countries were influenced by Islam,,, hummm ....nothing special about it .I can't see gods hand in bringing about Christ rejecting nation as his doing in any way as the fulfillment of prophecy.any way thank you for sharing your point of view this is kind of what I want to understand is the understanding behind all this ,,thank you for your post my friend .
  6. Thank you ,that's interesting I understand the devil is not really interested in land at all but in deciveing people .to blind them from faith in Jesus the messiah and worshiping the one true God.I have heard of people thinking the 6day war was a miracle or something ,,in a way the Muslim nations have acted quite well and don't seem to look for war but smaller groups within them cause trouble ,but I'm only speaking from limited knowledge .I understand Egypt was in control of Palestine as a territory for like 100years or so ,and that like you say Israel exist by recognition by other united nations countries like you suggested/said .thanks for the comment ...
  7. A brother posted this on the new humanity website as a kind of response to a question I had. And a statement I made.I hope its interesting/clarifying /insightful. May Jesus bless and keep you all thanks for your input into this subject. What is – & Who are – Israel? 1 Comment / Addressing heresies, Awareness, church, Humanity, National Borders, politics and religion / By Peter Cohen Who or what is Israel? That which establishes itself through politics and military might, or that which is founded through the New Covenant, by the Spirit, through faith in the Messiah? So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty (Zechariah 4:6). For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession. The Lord did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. But it was because the Lord loved you and kept the oath he swore to your ancestors that he brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments. But those who hate him he will repay to their face by destruction; he will not be slow to repay to their face those who hate him (Deuteronomy 7:6-10). in Scripture it says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe, “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,” and, “A stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall.” They stumble because they disobey the message—which is also what they were destined for. But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy (1 Peter 2:6-10). This is what the Lord says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar — the Lord Almighty is his name: “Only if these decrees vanish from my sight,” declares the Lord, “will Israel ever cease being a nation before me.” This is what the Lord says: “Only if the heavens above can be measured and the foundations of the earth below be searched out will I reject all the descendants of Israel because of all they have done,” declares the Lord (Jeremiah 31:35-37). I ask: Did Israel not understand? First, Moses says, “I will make you envious by those who are not a nation; I will make you angry by a nation that has no understanding.” And Isaiah boldly says, “I was found by those who did not seek me; I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me.” But concerning Israel he says, “All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and obstinate people.” I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don’t you know what Scripture says in the passage about Elijah—how he appealed to God against Israel: “Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me”? And what was God’s answer to him? “I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal” (Romans 10:19 – 11:4). There are currently 195 countries in the world and all of them, except for 2, are members of the United Nations. There are only two countries which are not members and are considered observer states, the Vatican and Palestine (source: How many countries are there in the world?). It has often been suggested that in the world you have, for example, the country of Greece for the Greeks, Britain for the British, Ireland for the Irish, Germany for the Germans, Italy for the Italians, Persia [Iran] for the Persians [Iranians], Egypt for the Egyptians etc. It was also once suggested, before 1948, that there was a nation called Israel who had no country and that a place in the Middle East, the original borders of Israel, was an open country “with no people” that would be ideally suitable for a “scattered people without a country”. So, as you have Greece for the Greeks, so too ought you have Israel for “the Jews”. But who are the “Jews”? This is very important to grasp and to comprehend: As quoted above, the Lord said through the Prophet Jeremiah, that as long as the sun shines upon this world and the moon is in the sky, Israel will never cease to be a nation. There are now false teachers who even quote this verse to suggest that in 1948, Israel “once again became a nation”. Such a suggestion is utter nonsense because it implies that for a time, from 70 AD until 1948, that Israel did perhaps cease to be a nation. A nation, whom God said would never cease to exist, actually never did cease to exist – and could not, therefore, come into being – or have been born gain as a nation in 1948 – (because, from the time the Lord spoke to Jeremiah, long before 1948, the sun and the moon remained and so too, Israel never ceased to exist as a nation even though they were scattered throughout the world.) Paul taught: It is not as though God’s word had failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel. Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham’s children. On the contrary, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.” In other words, it is not the children by physical descent who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring (Romans 9:6-8). It is now a fait accompli and widely accepted that a person who calls themselves a “Jew”, through their natural line of birth, (particularly through their mother being a Jew) or through conversion to Judaism, have the right of return to the country, Israel. This assertion is utterly false and must be exposed as false even at the risk of the unwarranted charge of “antisemitism”. A person is not a Jew who is one only outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a person’s praise is not from other people, but from God (Romans 2:28-29). I will state this quite emphatically and categorically, A person who joins himself to the God of Israel in faithful obedience to His New Covenant which He has made through His Anointed King, Jesus, is born again and fully counted as a member of God’s holy, priestly nation, Israel, quite regardless of their former natural birth, (whether formerly Jew or Gentile). The New Covenant has replaced the former Old Covenant. Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called “uncircumcised” by those who call themselves “the circumcision” (which is done in the body by human hands) — remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles— Surely you have heard about the administration of God’s grace that was given to me for you, that is, the mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly. In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, which was not made known to people in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets. This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:11 – 3:6). If any people living as foreigners scattered among the nations is redeemed through their faith in Jesus the Messiah and they are born again from above, circumcised by the Holy Spirit, they are one body with the Israel of God, which includes Jews and which is also no longer exclusive of the other nations of the world. That which is expanded by God’s mercy certainly has not replaced the original people born according to the flesh who also are redeemed through faith in Jesus. So I ask: Who have the right of return to the country in the Middle East – a people exclusively calling themselves “Jews”, or the redeemed people called to the obedience to God through their faith in Jesus the Messiah. All these people [the faithfully obedient] were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them (Hebrews 11:13-16). He has founded his city on the holy mountain. The Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the other dwellings of Jacob. Glorious things are said of you, city of God: “I will record Rahab and Babylon among those who acknowledge me— Philistia too, and Tyre , along with Cush— and will say, ‘This one was born in Zion.’” Indeed, of Zion it will be said, “This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High himself will establish her.” The Lord will write in the register of the peoples: “This one was born in Zion.” As they make music they will sing, “All my fountains are in you” Psalm 87:1-7). Those who call themselves “Jews” and who want to be counted among the redeemed people of God are faced with two main choices and a third choice of waiting in doubt and limbo: Believe in Jesus the Messiah and receive the promised inheritance through faithful obedience to the King of kings, or reject the Messiah and try to take possession of the earthly country by political and military human effort and find that you have struggled in vain. The third passive choice, which many Jews in the exile have opted for, is to resist Zionism and wait for another messiah to hopefully come because they do not believe that Jesus is indeed the Messiah who came at the appointed time in history. However, a true “Zionist” blessed and approved by God is one who is in Jesus the Messiah and waiting for the heavenly City of Jerusalem to be revealed in God appointed time. They are Israel, a nation scattered among the nations, with opportunity to return to an earthly country, but who are rather waiting for that heavenly country, the home of the righteous. But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel. See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken —that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire” (Hebrews 12:22-28). The kingdom of God is being restored to Israel as Israel’s membership expands to include, not only Jews who believe in Jesus, but people called out of darkness from all the nations of the world. They have no compulsion to return to the small strip of land in the Middle East, because they are patiently and faithfully waiting for a new country. It is very unfortunate that we now need to contend with a political motivation of so-called “Zionism” that tries to take the place of the larger, expanded Israel through what they narrowly and racially classify as being “Jewish”. But the King of kings has said – and his final word remains, “These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you” (Revelation 3:7-9). Our vindication as the Israel of God will be through our faithful obedience to Jesus the King of kings. Amen.
  8. BEAR WITH ME PLEASE !!! My understanding is that like this virtual country we as Christians have a citizenship in heaven our king is Jesus the policies are to love one another and to love our Father God,that were citizens by faith in our King who died to save us from the world the flesh and the devil and gave us eternal life by faith in him ,were ambassadors for Christs kingdom ,stranger's in this world and we seek a better country were there is no war or sorrow sickness or death that Jesus has overcome the evil one he cannot touch us ,were here to tell the good news about what our King has done for humanity's(john 3v16) by forgiving our sins (1Cor15:3-4).That God is making a new heavens and a new earth and were here to tell every creature under heaven the good news and we await our king to come and redeem us from this world and age to take us to our fathers house ,where there are many mansions as Jesus said .we must not love the world ,,or the things. If the world ,the only way to gain citizenship is to be born again by Gods holy spirit .this is my understanding were Jews spiritually ,Jesus came to make one new man were there is neither Jew free slave free male female were all one in Christ Jesus. This is my understanding ,Jesus has overcome the world .the worldly kingdoms are just that worldly but we are Born from above by faith in he who is above all.. Jesus the messiah the king of kings and lot of lords.
  9. Good day my sister I hope your well.thank you for your post.Sister,Who is you Father ? My sister...why do you think our Father would bring unbelievers to Palestine ?
  10. I'll be interested to see /read /hear,thank you ,my understanding is that the occupied territories are just like any other country just specifically populated with mainly unbelievers, that Jesus is the true Israel ,and that by faith in him "all Israel will be saved ". That just like any place the people there need to be saved by faith in Jesus, its just a worldly place,,and that the great and terrible events that derstoyed the earthly temple and where people were killed and taken captive have already happened as Jesus prophesied .But Jesus is the true temple and our(believers) bodies are living stones of the temple of the living God. OK my friend maybe latter ,thanks hay I hope you have a good day may Jesus's peace fill you
  11. Speaking of the spiritual birth to spiritual mount Zion ,the new jerusalem the mother of us all Galatians 4:26-27But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.For it is written rejoyce oh barren that nearest not ;break forth and cry ,thou that travailest not:for the desolate hath many more children than she that hath an husband
  12. Yes I agree this scripture is misunderstood,Jesus is Israel."my son who I called out of Egypt" we are born again and his people by faith in him ,Jesus came to do what Israel as a nation could not do ,he is Gods true son by faith in him we become the children of God and his spirit comes to live in us as was promised in the new covenant, in Christ all the old testament prophecy is fulfilled, it seems people are being influenced by Judaism.thank you ,that's a pretty good scripture you chose.
  13. Revelation speaks about it.the apostle john wrote about it .thank you for your reply ,I'm interested to hear what people have to say ,thank you.
  14. Some interesting ideas you have shared ,I will quote Jesus, my kingdom is not of this world if it were my servants would fight that I be not arrested by the jews ,now my kingdom is not of this realm.my understanding is the state was made like any micro nation was made. That it has no part in Gods kingdom and in the new heavens and new earth.its earthly and devilish it is waxing old like a garment and will be cast away..heaven Is my throne says the lord and the earth is my footstool.just some scriptures that came to mind thank you for sharing your ideas.I want to understand what people think God had anything to do with this I hear it all the time but can't find scriptures to back it up. Brother the apocrypha is not accepted by most believers...I never read it ,,who was he ?
  15. Hello My sister,?? Jesus is this the true incredible substance (manna)he has been found by many.I think Andrew was the first disciple to say he had found him...he told Nathaniel,,,?
  16. Thank you for sharing your story ,its very interesting ,almost a world away ,I don't know much about the army or military things ,shame ,sorry for what happened to your friend and the other soldier, it must be hard to deal with, the type of wars and weapons we have today I think can really shake people up.May Jesus give you peace my brother.thank you for your message.your quite a good wrighter /story teller ,by the way . Brother, this made me think ,,,about Jesus how he is a mighty warrior how he will come with ten thousands of saints in the book of revelation there is a warfare we are ingaged in too some are casualties some martyrs we too are fighting a holy war in a sense we wage it spiritualy.we have armour the devil cannot defeat, even though he might shoot firery darts we can use the shield of faith ,Jesus took the worsted the devil could give he was our friend who laid down his life to save us and promised us eternal life if we trust in him ,we are soldiers for Jesus we must be focused on our tasks like a soldier is ,your story makes me also think how we can help our fellow soldiers bind up wounds the enimy has caused with the love and grace we have received.we fight not against flesh and blood but powers and principalities in heavenly realms..maybe I know a little about the army and war after all.
  17. Something a brother shared with me on the New humanity project.org The Hidden Manna – Spiritual Food for the New Humanity 1 Comment / Inspirational, Theology / By Peter Cohen “To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna.” When they found him on the other side of the lake, they asked him, “Rabbi, when did you get here?” Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.” Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?” Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” So they asked him, “What sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you? What will you do? Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’” Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” “Sir,” they said, “always give us this bread.” Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe. All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.” At this the Jews there began to grumble about him because he said, “I am the bread that came down from heaven.” They said, “Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can he now say, ‘I came down from heaven’?” “Stop grumbling among yourselves,” Jesus answered. “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me. No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has seen the Father. Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life. I am the bread of life. Your ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, yet they died. But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which anyone may eat and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” Then the Jews began to argue sharply among themselves, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them. Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.” He said this while teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum (John 6:25-59). The hidden manna is the Bread that comes from heaven, it is the living Word of God who became flesh. To partake of the hidden manna is to be invited into close, intimate fellowship with Jesus Christ and to share in his divine nature. In us, who are filled with the Holy Spirit who gives to us deep spiritual wisdom and understanding, the Word, the hidden manna, becomes flesh and is manifested and revealed in us to sustain our spirits. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile —the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?” Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did: “Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world” (Romans 10:11-18). In the past, the Lord spoke through the Prophets – but his final and complete word is more than just spoken, it is manifested in Jesus – in that the Word became flesh. In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word (Hebrews 1:1-3). Jesus said: “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you” (John 16:12-15). The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life. Yet there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray him. He went on to say, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled them” (John 6:63-65). God has spoken to humanity in the person of Jesus the Messiah. The Word has gone out to the ends of the earth and yet for the most part it is not received in full faith and spiritual understanding. The dept of spiritual insight, knowledge and understanding still remains hidden manna for most people because they remain carnal-minded and dull of understanding. We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him— these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:6-16). Brothers and sisters, I could not address you as people who live by the Spirit but as people who are still worldly —mere infants in Christ. I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready. You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere humans? For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not mere human beings? (1 Corinthians 3:1-4). The apostle Paul was called to take the gospel to all the nations, including Israel and beyond. However, as he said to the church in Corinth, he could not address them as the new new spiritual humanity because in their thinking, they were still immature, carnal-minded, (engrossed with the former life in the flesh) and mere, unspiritual people. The deep spiritual truth is indeed hidden manna – and unfortunately still remains hidden even from most professing Christians who are satisfied with a very superficial understanding of the gospel. All they want is the assurance that as sinners they will, by God’s grace alone – and with no effort on their part to gain spiritual wisdom and understanding – they will nevertheless have eternal life being spared from eternal wrath and condemnation. I have personally experienced just how easy it is to lapse into a superficial, complacent, carnal-minded state – and often all the more so as we are drawn into fellowship with like-minded carnal-minded professing Christians who are more concerned about being blessed in the flesh than by putting to death the former life in the flesh – they are, for the most part, mere humans in the flesh oblivious to the new spiritual humanity who are called out of the realm of the flesh to live in the realm of the spirit. They do not have genuine faith which comes through receiving the hidden manna and they do not walk closely with Jesus as did Enoch. By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.” For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him (Hebrews 11:5-6). The carnal-minded professing Christian like to hear messages about God’s grace-alone, which excuses them from any effort and spiritual discipline on their part – because they are lazy and content in the flesh – they do not carry their cross. We have much to say about this (i.e. about the Melchizedek, the King of Righteousness who lives in a domain beyond this earthly realm and beyond the realm of the flesh), but it is hard to make it clear to you because you no longer try to understand. In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil (Hebrews 5:11-14). It is hidden manna – and remains hidden from the slothful, carn-minded professing Christians who has no desire to grow in spiritual wisdom and understanding because they are content to have their minds stayed on the realm of the flesh. Then he taught me, and he said to me, “Take hold of my words with all your heart; keep my commands, and you will live. Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them. Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. Cherish her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you. She will give you a garland to grace your head and present you with a glorious crown” (Proverbs 4:4-9). To gain spiritual wisdom and understanding cost you nothing (as far as spending money is concerned) and it yet also costs you everything (in that you must give up all other trivial pursuits and carnal-minded desires in order to find it – for it is hidden from humanity in the flesh and is spiritual revealed). Just then his disciples returned and were surprised to find him talking with a woman. But no one asked, “What do you want?” or “Why are you talking with her?” Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people, “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?” They came out of the town and made their way toward him. Meanwhile his disciples urged him, “Rabbi, eat something.” But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you know nothing about.” Then his disciples said to each other, “Could someone have brought him food?” “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. Even now the one who reaps draws a wage and harvests a crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together. Thus the saying ‘One sows and another reaps’ is true. I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labour” (John 4:27-38). When they found him on the other side of the lake, they asked him, “Rabbi, when did you get here?” Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.” Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?” Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent” (John 6:25-29). “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare. Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David (Isaiah 55:1-3). In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers and sisters, to keep away from every believer who is idle and disruptive and does not live according to the teaching you received from us. For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example. We were not idle when we were with you, nor did we eat anyone’s food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you. We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but in order to offer ourselves as a model for you to imitate. For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.” We hear that some among you are idle and disruptive. They are not busy; they are busybodies. Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and earn the food they eat. And as for you, brothers and sisters, never tire of doing what is good. Take special note of anyone who does not obey our instruction in this letter. Do not associate with them, in order that they may feel ashamed. Yet do not regard them as an enemy, but warn them as you would a fellow believer (2 Thessalonians 2:6-15). There are indeed lazy people who think that they will be sustained by “faith alone” – but they are often also spiritually lazy as well. Just as we need to earn our living to pay for our daily bread, so too, we need to apply ourselves through effort – devoting our lives to prayer and to the study of the Scriptures, in order to find and feed on the hidden manna to grow spiritually. There needs to be a right balance of spiritual discipline, of prayer and the study of the Scriptures, – with of our daily responsibility to work for a living. As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!” “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her” (Luke 10:38-42).
  18. Sorry my brother ,I know its not a topic we should dwell on ,I just hope we see how sad the whole situation is both for Palestinians and isralies ,I hope in the future it can be like South Africa that this political system can end ,many people support this from a biblical idea as if Our father has made this happen.I could of posted many more videos but its so terrible I couldn't watch them even .thanks for your bravery to see it ,I hope we some how as Christian s can stand against this ,he needs Jesus to forgive him ,no one can help him except Jesus a lot of young men and women get so broken from war and fighting a lot of theses young people have been brainwashed and or don't have a choice to serve in the army or not.may you have peace .I tryed to delete the post actually because is was so upsetting maybe I shouldn't have posted it.sorry hay ..
  19. Thank you for sharing the story,I didn't know Russia was so extreme ,but I met a Russian man in the secular state that is not Israel but calls itself Israel who said Russia is worse than the secular Antichrist state. He was laughing ...Yes its easy to think we will stand for what we believe and who we believe in ,but far to often in my own experience I was silent .Jesus's question to Peter was" lovest thou me ?" often we want to keep ourselves safe instead of stand up for Jesus ,we love the approval of men more than God and fear what men might do to us in lack of faith we don't stand strong but Jesus knows our weakness and he can strengthen us after our failures his love and forgiveness makes us bold .I had the experience that if I say" yes I'm Jewish".I can enter Israel get the' special treatment 'as you know this is the question often asked more than once .. are you Jewish ????............"yes "I can be reunited to my family,or "No" I can proclaim Christ and my faith in him and be denied entry ,its better for me now to lose the world and to gain Christ. Phil 3:8yea doubtless and I count but all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my lord:for whom I have suffered the loss of all things ,and do but count them dung that I may win Christ. Far to often the world asks us to compromise. often its in the smaller choices those that seem insignificant the everyday choices we make. Often its in our behaviour ,speech and actions etc. Thank you for the story you shared..its a great encouragement.
  20. Skip to content Main Menu Zionism and The New Humanity – Part One Leave a Comment / Uncategorized / By Peter Cohen “Zionism is a movement (originally) for the re-establishment and (now) the development and protection of a Jewish nation in what is now Israel. It was established as a political organization in 1897 under Theodor Herzl, and was later led by Chaim Weizmann” (from this link Zionism). Probably triggered by the Dreyfus affair,Theodor Herzl responded emotionally to an overwhelming sense of Anti Semitism which stirred in him the sense of an urgent and pressing need to found a Jewish homeland to serve as a refuge for Jewish people who have endured persecution in their diaspora among the nations. Herzl himself stated that the Dreyfus case turned him into a Zionist and that he was particularly affected by chants of “Death to the Jews!” from the crowds. This had been the widely held belief for some time. However, some modern scholars now believe that due to little mention of the Dreyfus affair in Herzl’s earlier accounts and a seemingly contrary reference he made in them to shouts of “Death to the traitor!” that he may have exaggerated the influence it had on him in order to create further support for his goals.[ Extract from Wikipedia at this link here]. If you do not obey the Lord your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and overtake you: You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the country. Then the Lord will scatter you among all nations, from one end of the earth to the other. There you will worship other gods—gods of wood and stone, which neither you nor your ancestors have known. Among those nations you will find no repose, no resting place for the sole of your foot. There the Lord will give you an anxious mind, eyes weary with longing, and a despairing heart. You will live in constant suspense, filled with dread both night and day, never sure of your life. In the morning you will say, “If only it were evening!” and in the evening, “If only it were morning!”—because of the terror that will fill your hearts and the sights that your eyes will see (Deuteronomy 28:15-16; 64-67). The essential requirement to obeying God as required by the Law of Moses, was to believe in the Messiah and to give heed to the Word of God spoken through him (see Deuteronomy 18:17-19). God’s purpose for Israel, (and the Jewish people), was for them to be a light to the nations testifying to God and his eternal purpose which was progressively made known through the Hebrew Prophets. God’s purpose culminated in the coming of Jesus the Messiah, the King of kings, of whose dominion there will be no end. There is absolutely no further unique purpose for Israel and the Jews. Whatever distinction once separated Jew from Gentile has been done away with through the coming of Jesus the Messiah. Israel’s once unique and exclusive election by God has completely ended, not on account of God rejecting Israel per se, but on account of God including, with the faithful remnant of Israel in the Messiah, people from all nations through their faith in Jesus. God’s purpose was to create in Jesus the Messiah one new humanity out of the two [Jew and Gentile], thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross. Through faith in Jesus, Gentiles have been included with Jews, (who believe in Jesus), in the redeemed, new covenant, Israel of God. Jews who rebel against Jesus the King are completely cut off while they persist in their unbelief in accord with Deuteronomy 18:17-19). “For Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you. Anyone who does not listen to him will be completely cut off from their people’” (Acts 3:22-23). And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit (Ephesians 2:11-22). Gentiles who believe in Jesus Christ have become fellow citizens with God’s faithful holy people. However, instead of returning to the Land in the Middle East in this present world, they are assured that they will become heirs of the new earth along with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob through the resurrection. It was not through the law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith. For if those who depend on the law are heirs, faith means nothing and the promise is worthless, because the law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression. Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all. As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not (Romans 4:13-17). You [whether formerly Jew or Gentile, who believe in Jesus the Messiah] have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire” (Hebrews 12:22-29). He has founded his city on the holy mountain. The Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the other dwellings of Jacob. Glorious things are said of you, city of God: “I will record Rahab and Babylon among those who acknowledge me— Philistia too, and Tyre , along with Cush— and will say, ‘This one was born in Zion.’” Indeed, of Zion it will be said, “This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High himself will establish her.” The Lord will write in the register of the peoples: “This one was born in Zion.” As they make music they will sing, “All my fountains are in you” (Psalm 87:1-7). Jesus the Messiah, the Anointed King from the line of David, says, “These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. The present Jewish state, calling itself “Israel”, although it is not the redeemed and faithful Israel of God, is, according to the Word of God, an illegitimate, rebellious, nation although it has become a defacto nation. It may be a fait accompli of political Zionism, but it does not have God’s approval nor blessing! Professing Christians who support Zionism and the State of Israel are actually naively supporting a rebellion political movement opposed to Jesus the Messiah – and yet millions of professing Christians throughout the world have made solidarity with Israel one of the most fundamental doctrines of their completely misplaced faith. Zionism, in rebellion to Jesus Christ, is treason and theft and therefore, void of God’s approval and blessing. As Jesus taught: “Listen to another parable: There was a landowner who planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a winepress in it and built a watchtower. Then he rented the vineyard to some farmers and moved to another place. When the harvest time approached, he sent his servants to the tenants to collect his fruit. “The tenants seized his servants; they beat one, killed another, and stoned a third. Then he sent other servants to them, more than the first time, and the tenants treated them the same way. Last of all, he sent his son to them. ‘They will respect my son,’ he said. “But when the tenants saw the son, they said to each other, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him and take his inheritance.’ So they took him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. “Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?” “He will bring those wretches to a wretched end,” they replied, “and he will rent the vineyard to other tenants, who will give him his share of the crop at harvest time.” Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes’? Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit. Anyone who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls will be crushed.” When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard Jesus’ parables, they knew he was talking about them. They looked for a way to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowd because the people held that he was a prophet (Matthew 21:33-46). If the chief priests and the Pharisees knew that Jesus was talking about them, what makes any Zionist imagine that Jesus’ parable does not still apply to anyone who thinks they have any right of inheritance or ownership of the Land, while they reject the Son of God, the only true heir? Now, if religion and God’s promises could be removed altogether from the question regarding the right of Israel to exist as a Jewish nation, then it could be argued simply from a political point of view that they should be left to thrive as an independent nation like any other nation in the world. However, the very basis of Zionism and of the notion of there being a “Jewish people” — and the very basis of naive, misplaced Christian support of Zionism, would not exist had there not once been a Biblical reason prior to the coming of Jesus Christ and the making of the completely new covenant. The continuity of God’s purpose for Israel and the nations, since the coming of Jesus the Messiah, is certainly not to create an exclusively Jewish nation, but rather a completely new humanity with absolutely no racial or national distinction. Some may argue that this article is biased against Israel, Judaism and the Jews, while having nothing to say against Iranians, Greeks, Arabs, Germans etc. If any other nation dared to call itself “Israel” and claim to have a Biblical right to take possession of land while knowing that it creates hostility, then this article would also be directed against them. But Israel is unique as far as claiming, illegitimately, to have the right to establish itself as a “jewish State”. The name “Israel” is indeed unique – and the calling of God for all nations to the obedience to God through faith in Jesus the Messiah is the reason for exposing that which masquerades as if it is concerned with God’s purpose while continuing in rebellion against the King. 22. My understanding of the scriptures is yes women should veil themselves in christian gatherings.I find it also easier tell Muslims and Jews about Jesus as they have a similar custom, but with different meaning as to why they do it.I read that Muslims actually got head covering from Byzantine Christians, but I see in many cultures its quite normal like India and even in Africa some women do it.Its a obedience issue not a salvation issue. If I'm in a church that doesn't do it .I try to be more casual maybe use a beanie or chrochet hat but I think a shawl/veil is what Paul meant.I find it strange that it is not practiced so much. The orthodox churches do this and Armenian. Some churches I feel quite uncomfortable if they don't do it.thank you for all you wrote it was an interesting read.I came across this in the bible and like I came across baptism I think both are to be observed when possible and neccicary I do think all things need to be considered about hair length ,age ,diseases ,etc.like in cancer patients or something grace needs to be shown to all and love. And the hearts need to be right or it can become a legalistic thing.head covering also goes with modest apparel and not to have broided hair it covers a lot of women's issues.the more I think about it. Reading the topic was very well put together thank you my brother
  23. Dear sister don't worry about it the king of kings has invited you and me and your other brothers and sisters in christ to the marriage supper of the lamb.everyone's been invited no one will be left out .remember the parable how an extra effort was made to go into the high was and by ways to call everyone to come in. in our fathers house there is enough room for all his children so for now let us together go about inviting people to come so that the house is full.and no one gets left out ... May Jesus bless you and lift up his face upon you and give you peace
