  1. "And Abraham removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he built an altar unto the Lord, and called upon the name of the Lord." Gen 12:8. "And Abraham removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built an altar there unto the Lord." Gen 13:18. "And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play." Ex 32:6. (Insincere worship) "And the Lord spoke unto Aaron, saying, Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou , nor thy sons, with them, when you go up into the tabernacle, the congregation, lest you die: it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations: And that ye put a difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean." Lev 10:8-10 (The Lord Jesus told the Apostle Paul that there was nothing unclean of itself: Rom 14:14. It was nailed to the cross.) "And all Israel that were around about them fled at the cry of them went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed in upon them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also. And there came a fire out from the Lord and consumed two hundred and fifty men that offered incense." Num 16:34,35. "And it came to pass as they came when David returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the women came out singing and dancing, to meet King Saul with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of music." 1 Sam 18:6. "And David danced before the Lord will all his might; and David was girded with a linen of ephod. So David and all the house of Israel brought up the Ark of the Lord with shouting and the sound of the trumpet. And the Ark came into the city of David, Michal, Saul's daughter looked through a window, and saw King David, leaping and dancing before the Lord; and she despised him in her heart." 2 Sam 6:14-16. "That I may show forth all Thy praise in the gates of my daughter Zion: I will rejoice in Thy salvation." Ps 9:14. "Give unto the Lord, due unto His name; worship before the Lord in the beauty of holiness." Ps 29:2. "Thou has turned my mourning into dancing: Thou has put off my sackcloth and girded me with gladness." Ps 30:11. " Praise the Lord with the timbrel and dance: praise Him with the stringed instruments and organs." Ps 150:4 "A time to weep and a time to laugh: a time to mourn and a time to dance." Ecc 3:4. "Again, I will build thee, and thou shall be built, O virgin of Israel, thou shall be adorned with thy tabrets, and shall go forth with dances of them that make merry." Jer 31:4. Praise the Lord of hosts: Sing, dance and praise His name, lift up your hands and praise the Lord!
  2. "And I beheld another Beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a LAMB, and he spake as a DRAGON. And he exercises all the power of the first Beast before him, and causes the earth and them that dwell therein to worship the first Beast whose deadly wound was healed. (That has, already happened to the Papacy). And he does great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men." (When James and John wanted to call fire down from heaven, as Elijah had done, Jesus said, "Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of!" Lu 9:54,55.) And deceives them that dwell on the earth by means of those miracles, which he had power to do in the sight of the Beast, saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the Beast, which had the wound and did live." Rev 13:11-14. 1....... "...out of the earth." - in contrast to the former Beast, which arose out of a populated place. Rev 17:15. 2....... "...two horns" - no crowns: religious and civil liberty. 3....... "...two horns like a Lamb: - A young Christian nation. 4....... "...He spake as a Dragon" -"The greatest Superpower the world has ever known." George Washington said, "Every man conducting himself as a good citizen and being accountable to God, alone, for his religious options, ought to be protected in worshiping the Deity, according to the dictates of his own conscience." Benjamin Franklin said, "When religion is good it will take care of itself. When it's not able to take care of itself, and God does not see fit to take care of it, so that is has to appeal to the civil power for support, it's evidence in my mind that the cause is a bad one." Ulysses S. Grant said, "Leave the matter of religious teaching to the family altar, the church and the private school, supported entirely by private contributions. KEEP THE CHURCH AND STATE FOREVER SEPARATED." President Reagan and the Pope brought down Communism in eastern Europe...Just as Judas arose from within the disciples, so The Antichrist will arise from within the church. Martin Luther, John Calvin, John Wesley, William Tyndale, King James, John Knox, Philipp Melancthon, and Huldreich Zwingli all pointed to the Papacy as The Antichrist. I can provide a post on The Antichrist, if you like.
  3. This is probably going to be somewhat of a different post than what you're used to, and I apologize for that. I'm going to be thinking out loud here. For a long time I've wondered about the moving and changing of nations. Clearly the Lord does this, and to His purpose. Act 17:22 Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. Act 17:23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. Act 17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Act 17:25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; Act 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; Act 17:27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: Act 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. I have always read the bolded part to mean that God places men in specific times, in specific nations where they will have the best chance of finding Him. It makes sense to me that God would similarly place men in nations to a specific end, for His purpose. We have seen nations that were based on a democratic rule, or a ruling family, break down in communication and exchange of ideas and authority goes out the door - then anarchy results. Dictators rise from anarchy. Could not the "seat" be established at this point? Or the power given at a time when the people are so distracted? It is my belief that this nation was created for a time unlike any other. It rose against the tide, despite the odds, and survived to house some great orators of the faith. America sent out thousands to be "witnesses to the uttermost parts of the earth." Yet I also acknowledge that it has created great atrocities. I don't discount the other nations, it's just that this one has played a special part in biblical history in that it housed many Jews, and was instrumental in establishing that nation. This nation was used for the fulfillment of prophecy. Would that not anger the enemy of Israel? Our nation began it's fall into "chaos" in that time frame. But - that's all just my opinion.
  4. "Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and spoke saying, I will sing unto the Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously: the horse and rider hath He thrown into the sea. The Lord is my strength and my song. and He is become my salvation: He is my God, and I will prepare for Him a habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt Him." Ex 15:1-2. "Then the Levites, Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabniah, Sherebiah, Hodijah, Shebaniah and Pethahiah said, Stand up and bless the Lord your God forever and ever and blessed be His glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise. Thou, even Thou art Lord, alone; Thou hast made the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and Thou perservest them all: and the host of heaven worship Thee." Neh 9:5-6 "In God I will praise His Word: in the Lord I will praise His Word." Ps 56:10. "My heart is fixed, O God of my heart s fixed: I will sing and give praise." Ps 57:7. "Let those that seek Thee rejoice and be glad in Thee: and let such as love Thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified." Ps 70:4 "Oh, Lord God of hosts, Who is strong unto Thee? Or, to Thy faithfulness round about Thee?" Ps 89:8. "Give unto the Lord, the glory due His name: bring an offering, and come into His courts. O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before Him all the earth." Ps 96:8,9. "Oh, that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfies the longing soul, and His fills the hungry soul with goodness...He sent His Word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction." Ps 107:8,9,15,20. "O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. Awake psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. I will praise Thee, O Lord, among the people, and I will sing praise to Thee among the nations." Ps 108:1-3. "Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto Thy name give glory, for Thy mercy and for Thy truth's sake." Ps 115:1. "And upon that day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration to them. And the people shouted, It is the voice of a god, and not a man. And immediately the Angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten with worms, and gave up the ghost. But the Word of God grew and multiplied. Acts 12:21-24. "The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that say, Praise the Lord of hosts: for the Lord is good; for His mercy endures forever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise in the house of the Lord, for I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, says the Lord." Jer 33:11. "And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that He did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David; they were sore displeased. And said unto Him, Hear Thou what these say? And Jesus said unto them, Yea; have you never read, Out of the mouths of babes and sucklings Thou hast perfected praise?" Matt 21:15,16. "And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands and thousands. Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and such as in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing and honor and glory and power be unto Him that sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb forever." Rev 5:11-13. "And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are Thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are Thy ways, Thou King of saints." Rev 15:3. "Behold I come quickly: blessed is he that keeps the saying of the prophecy of this book. And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship the feet of the angel which showed me these things. Thus he says unto me, See thou do it not: for I am a fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and all of the which keep the sayings of this book:worship God" Rev 22:7-9
  5. "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light." Gen1:1-3. "And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth. Thus the heavens and earth were finished, and all the host of them." Gen 1:26-2:1. "Lord, Thou hast been our dwelling place for all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever Thou hast formed the earth and the world from everlasting to everlasting Thou art God." Ps 90:1,2. "For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens." Ps 96:5. "Of old, Thou hast laid the foundation of the earth and the heavens are the work of Thy hands. They shall perish, but Thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shall Thou change them, and they shall be changed. But Thou art the same, and Thy years shall have no end." Ps 102:25-27. "For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before Me, says the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship Me, says the Lord." Isa 66:22,23. "O give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good: for His mercy endures forever. O give thanks to the God of gods: for His mercy endures forever. O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for His mercy endures forever. To Him Who alone does great wonders: for His mercy endures forever. To Him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for His mercy endures forever. To Him that made great lights: for His mercy endures forever. The sun to rule by day: for His mercy endures forever." Ps 136:1-8. "He tells the number of the stars; He calls them all by their names." Ps 147:4. "Who hath ascended up to heaven, or descended? Who hath gathered the wind in His fists? Who hath bound the waters in a garment? Who hath established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son's name, if thou can tell?" Pro 30:4 "Thus says God the Lord, He that created the heavens, and stretched them out; He that spread forth the earth, and that which comes out of it; He that gives breath to people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein. I,the Lord have called thee for righteousness, and will hold thy hand, and will keep thee, for a covenant to the people, for a light to the Gentiles." Is 42:5-6. "I form the light and create darkness: I make peace and create evil: I, the Lord do all these things." Isa 45:7. "Thus says the Lord, the heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool: where is the house that you build unto Me? And where is the place of My rest?" Isa 66:1. "Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? says the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? says the Lord. I have heard what the prophets said, they prophesy lies in My name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed. How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? Yea, they are prophets of deceit of their own heart; Which think to cause My people to forget My name by their dreams, as their false prophets have forgotten My name for Baal. The prophet has a dream, let him tell the dream; and he that hath My word, let him speak the word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat, says the Lord. Is not My word like a fire? says the Lord; and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces. Therefore, I AM against the prophets, that steals My word from his neighbor, says the Lord, that use their tongues, and say He says. Behold, I AM against them that prophesy false dreams, says the Lord, and do not let them, and cause My people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them; therefore they shall not profit this people at all, says the Lord." Jer 23:24-32. "Ah, Lord God! Behold Thou has made the heaven and the earth by Thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for Thee." Jer 32:17. 'In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life and the life was the light of men." John 1:1-4;10;Col 1:15-17;Heb 1:3;10-12.
  6. "Behold I stand before thee upon the Rock of Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so, in the sight of the elders of Israel." Ex 17:6 (Jesus was smitten) "And it shall come to pass, while My glory passes by, that I will put thee in the cleft of the Rock, and will cover thee with my hand as I pass by." Ex 33:22. "And Moses lifted up his hand, and he smote the Rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank and the beasts also." Num 20:11. "He is the Rock, His work is perfect, a God of truth for all His ways are judgment: and God of truth without iniquity (lawlessness) just and right is He." Deut 32:4. "But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation." Deut 32:15. "Of that Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee." Deut 32:18. "How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them,, and the Lord had shut them up? For their Rock is not our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges." Deut 32:30,31. "There is none holy as the Lord: for there is none beside Thee: neither is there any Rock like our God." 1 Sam 2:2. "The God of IsraeL said, the Rock of Israel spoke unto me, He that rules over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God." 2 Sam 23:3. "I will love Thee, O Lord my strength. The Lord is my Rock and my fortress, and my deliverer. my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower." Ps 18:1,2. "For Who is our God save the Lord? Or Who is our Rock save our God?" Ps 18:31. "The Lord lives; and blessed be our Rock: be Thou silent unto me: lest if Thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down to the pit." Ps 28:1. "He shall cry unto me, Thou art my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation." Ps 89:26. "But the Lord is my defense; and God is the Rock of my refuge." Ps 94:22. "O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise the Rock of our salvation." Ps 95:1. "The pride of thy heart has deceived you, thou that dwells in the cleft of the Rock, whose habitation is high; that says in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground." Ob 3 "AND DID ALL DRINK THE SAME SPIRITUAL DRINK: FOR THEY DRANK OF THAT SPIRITUAL ROCK THAT FOLLOWED THEM: AND THAT ROCK WAS CHRIST." 1 Cor 10:4.
  7. "Then Jesus said unto them, I AM the light of the world: he that followed Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." John 8:12. Jesus said, "And this is the condemnation that LIGHT is come into this world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds be reproved. But he that cometh to the light, that his deeds made me manifest, that they are wrought in God." John 3:19-21. Jesus said, "Ye are the light of this world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid." Matt 5:14. "Every good gift is from above, and comes down from the FATHER OF LIGHTS with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning."Ja 1:17. "Then God said, Let there be light; and there was light." Gen 1:3. "And God saw that the light was good; and divided the light from the darkness. God called the light day, and the darkness He called night. And the evening and the morning were the first day." Gen 1:4,5. "And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and seasons, and days and years. And let them be for lights in the firmament of heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: He made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and God saw that it was good. And to rule over the day, and to divide the light from the darkness. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. Gen 1:14-19. "I FORM THE LIGHT and create darkness, I make peace and create evil: I, the Lord, do all these things." Isa 45:7. "Thus saith the Lord which giveth sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The Lord of hosts is His name." "And He was transfigured before them: and His face did shine as the sun, and His raiment was white as the light." Matt 17:2 "Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to Whom be honor and power everlasting.Amen." 1 Tim 6:16. 11. "The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than the honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward." Ps 19:7-11. In Psalm 119, the word, "Word," Is used interchangeably with, "law," "commandments," "judgments," "precepts," "statutes," "testimonies." (Courtesy of Dr.R.C.Sproul) God's Word is His law. The Old Testament Version of being born again: "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put My Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and ye shall keep My judgments and do them." Ezek 36:26,27. When His Spirit is within us, we are empowered to obey His Word/His law. "O how I love Thy law! It is my meditation all the day. Thou through Thy commandments have made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me." Ps 119:97,98. "Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Thy law is truth." Ps 119:142. "Great peace have they which love Thy law: and nothing shall offend them." Ps 119:165. "My son keep My words, and lay up the commandments with thee. Keep My commandments and live; and My law as the apple of thine eye." Pro 7:1,2. "Where there is no vision the people perish: but he that keepeth the law happy is he." Pro 29:18. "Therefore as the fire devoured the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the Lord of hosts, and despised the Word of the Holy One of Israel." Isa 5:24. "I will put My law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."Jer 31:33. "The law of truth was in their mouth, and iniquity was not found in His lips: He walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from their iniquity." Mal 2:6. When Jesus gave us The Two Greatest Commandments, He was quoting the law: Then one of them which was a lawyer, asked Him a question, tempting Him and saying, Master which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength. This is the first and great commandment. (Deut 6:5) And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. (Lev 19:18). On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." Matt 22:35-40. The Apostle Paul wrote, "For as many as have sinned without law, shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified."Rom 2:12,13. "Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law." Rom 3:31. "Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just and good...for we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal sold under sin...If then I do that which I would not, I consent that the law is good...For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members...I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin." Rom 7:12-27. "For whosoever shall keep the whole law and offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law." Ja 2:10,11. "Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of good conscience, and of faith unfeigned...Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm." 1 Tim 1:5-7. "Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates in to the city." Rev 22:14.
  12. AMEN!!!! We are made holy through Christ! BEWARE MY FRIENDS HE IS SOON TO BE COMING ON THE SCENE.
  13. "Who is like unto Thee, O Lord among the gods? Who is like unto Thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises doing wonders?" Ex 15:11. "And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness: the unclean shall not pass over it...." Isa 35:8. "Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the Lord which He loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god." Mal 2:11. "And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection of the dead." Rom 1:4. "But now being made free from sin, and become servants of God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life." Rom 6:22. "Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from the filthiness of the flesh and spirit, and perfecting holiness in the fear of God." 2 Cor 7:1. "And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness." Eph 4:24. (The only way you can put on the new man is to be born again: John 3:3-7) "To the end He may establish your hearts unblameable in holiness before our God, even our Father, at the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints." 1 Thess 3:13. "For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness." 1 Thess 4:7. "For they for a few days chasten us after their own pleasure; but He for our profit, that we might be partakers of His holiness." Heb 12:10. "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord." Heb 12:14. "Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just and good." Rom 4:12. THE ANTICHRIST (False Christ) WILL NOT BE HOLY, ONLY GOD IS.BEWARE MY FRIENDS.
  14. "...showing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me, and keep My commandments." Ex 20:6 "As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us...to such as keep His Covenant, and to those that remember His commandments to do them." Ps 103. Covenants have conditions. "With my whole heart have I sought Thee: O let me not wander from Thy commandments. Thy Word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against Thee." Ps 119:10-11. "I will run in the way of Thy commandments, when Thou shalt enlarge my heart." Ps 119:32. "Make me to go in the path of Thy commandments; for therein do I delight." Ps 119:35. Ps 119:127 "I opened my mouth and panted: for I longed for Thy commandments." Ps 119:131. "He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my Words: keep My commandments and live." Pr 4:4. Jesus said, "And He said unto them, Why callest thou Me good? There is none good but One, that is God: but if thou will enter into life, keep the commandments." Matt 19:17 "If you keep My commandments, ye shall abide in My love; even as I have kept the Father's commandments, and abide in His love." John 15:10. "Then one of them which was a lawyer asked Him a question, tempting Him and saying, Master which is the great commandment IN THE LAW? The Two Greatest Commandments: Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thine soul, and with all thine mind. Deut 6:5. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Lev 19:18. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." Matt 22:37-40. "By this we know that we love the children of God (Lev 19:18), when we love God (Deut 6:5) and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous." 1 John 5:2,3. Jesus said, "If ye love Me, keep My commandments." John 14:15 Jesus said, "He that hath My commandments and keepeth them, he it is that loveth Me: and he that loveth Me shall loved of My Father, and I will love him, and will manifest Myself to him." John 14:21. "Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God." 1 Cor 7:19 "And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep the commandments. He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him." 1 John 2:3,4. "And this is love that we walk after His commandments." 2 John 6. His Church Keeps His Commandments: "And the Dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." "Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city." Rev 22:14. The Apostle John makes a connection between keeping the commandments and entering into the kingdom of God. Even in heaven, the Lord makes quite a statement about His Covenant: "And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in His temple The Ark of His Testament: and there were LIGHTNINGS, and VOICES, and THUNDERINGS, and AN EARTHQUAKE, and GREAT HAIL." Rev 11:19. There was only One Covenant within The Ark - The Ten Commandment Covenant.
  15. "In the beginning (Elohiym - the Triune God) created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the waters." Gen 1:1,2. Jesus Christ: "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son: In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature. For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and by Him all things exist...For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell." Col. 1:13-19. "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." 1 John 1:1-5. The Holy Spirit: "By His Spirit He hath garnished the heavens; His hand hath formed the crooked serpent." Job 26:13. "Thou sendest forth Thy Spirit, they are created: and Thou renewest the face of the earth." Ps 104:30. Rom 1:20. The Power of God: "Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of His understanding." Isa 40:28. The Glory and the Handiwork of God: "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth His handywork." Ps 19:1. When we celebrate the Sabbath, we honor our Creator.
