  1. There was a man who had a dog and Bingo was his name, oh, B-I-N-G-O ...
  2. Its Mat 12:32 And yeah I read that recently and was wondering the same thing. Jesus was talking about the sign of Jonah and then mentioned this, when the Pharisees demanded a sign from him. Any takers still
  3. Hi, I think there was a post for translations a while back here but I cannot find it. Anywaysssss...I was wondering if someone could do US a favor here and translate some of these to Hebrew and EVEN Aramaic (if anyone knows it lol) ... I even wish you could type it out in its font as well "In the name of Jesus Christ" "By his stripes/wounds I am healed" Thank you in advance and people feel free to add on
  4. Hi all, I am kind of confused about 2 verses here and need some feedback. Ill bold the parts which confuse me: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus - Phil. 4:6-7 What is this peace? Is like a confirmation of what we asked will come to us? Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or thing, according to the power that works in us... - Eph. 3:20 So because our God can do way more for us of course, he limits how much he does according to how much strength and belief/faith we have? Thanx!
  5. Wonderful recommendations here guys !
  6. Thanx guys for the wonderful recommendations Ive been hearing some of them and Saleh hit it right on the spot!
  7. If you read in the Book of Acts, on the Day of Pentacost, they all were speaking different languages and thats why it bedazzled so many people cause people from all over were hearing their own language being spoken. So yeah speaking tongues can be different languages on Earth and afar as well I believe
  8. Hi All, I preffer the more quiet type of Christian music, and Im kinda new to the genre so I was wondering if anyone could help me with more artists. My taste falls with people like: Maranatha Band Dennis Jernigan John Talbot Marty Goetz Michael Card Matthew Ward Anything else out there like this?
  9. Ive always heard that the Jesus we see is a famous painting by michaelangelo, of some Italian man. Jesus is breifly described in the OT, I believe Isaiah, and from what I read he was not the most handsome out there.
  10. True. But what got my mind running was the thought of someone so dehydrated, with nothing but wine with them
  11. Absolutely agreed ^^ I remember being attacked while I was half awake. I remember hearing/feeling more than just one one me. One of them was screaming in my ear and it was gross! I hear echoes as if some tunnel was opened in my room. Our family has had strong Christian roots and attacks has been normal. A couple of them literally were jumping up and down on my Grandmas bed while she was awake and sick. One of my relatives was young and one stripped his pants off and literally held him up from his legs, like in a sexual sense. Sick. But its real.
  12. Okay, many times in The Bible we see warning against walking in drunkeness and over drinking. Obviously there were more to drink than just wine. But since it was so 'normal' for wine drinking, wasnt it easy to overdue it? Wine is a mocker, Intoxicating drink arouses brawling, And whoever is led astray by it is not wise - Proverbs 20:1
  13. Thanx for the feedback guys Ive thought of actually slipping outside once in a while to recollect my thoughts and daily bread but sometimes it gets so hectic (btw Im a programmer pinned to the computer so my brain is pretty fried at the end lol ) Ive asked the Lord for wisdom and how to balance out my work and meditation so no problemozzz Btw that audio in the car is a great idea...Ill look into that
  14. When I wake up, I read and meditate on his words and commandments. Wonderful. Than I get to work where the environment changes and my mind is so set on the work that it is hard to keep strong thoughts on what I just read. How do you guys do it? My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. 21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; 22 For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. - Proverbs 4:20-22 I even carry around some verses with me, but again its very difficult.
