Unworthily partake, not unworthy to partake. Believe it or not, there are those that think one has got to be perfect to partake in the Holy Communion. ____________________ I Corinthians 11:28 "But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup." ____________________ Remember those events surrounding the crucifixion when partaking in Communion, then examine yourself for what is on your mind. If your mind is not completely on the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ, than don't take that cup. ____________________ I Corinthians 11:29 "For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh d*mn ation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body." ____________________ If your mind is not in that remembrance mode, then you are drinking to your own d*mn ation. The subject here is "not discerning the Lord's body". You had better NOT be thinking of those sins that you have committed, but your entire focus is on the Lord's Body that was crucified for your sins. It is Jesus Christ that was able to make the sacrifice for the sins of those that would repent. Get your mind off those traditions of men that like to draw you from the table of the Lord, and focus it on the only place that God say is worth of consideration at this time. Examine yourself as to what is in your mind and thoughts before you go to the table of the Lord. ____________________ I Corinthians 11:30 "For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep." ____________________ "Sleep" is to be spiritually dead, and many are spiritually weak and sickly because they do not partake of the True Bread, which is Jesus Christ. They never really got into His Word and stayed there. They would rather listen to stories about the bible rather than amercing themselves in it. Staying in His Word, chapter and verse It is through His stripes that we are healed; It is through Christ that God's love will pour into our soul, and fill our being. This is the one time to realize that you don't play Christian, for your either are, or you are not. Those that do not understand the covering of the head that Paul is talking about, are spiritually dead. Jesus Christ is our covering ____________________ I Corinthians 11:31 "For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged." ____________________ Can you judge yourself? If you are waiting to judge yourself when it is time for communion, then forget it. You will never be ready because there will always be something that will hinder you. But when you consider the body of Christ, you had better know that Christ was worthy if you take of the cup. Only God can judge man and he knows your heart and what is in your mind. This is why we must repent, and then focus on the cross and put our complete trust in Jesus to save. It

Dan 8:24] And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. __________________ Do you remember who it was that gave the king of Babylon his power? How does he destroy the mighty and holy people? Here's a partial quote from verse 25 in the Living Bible: __________________ Dan 8:25 "He will be a master of deception, defeating many by catching them off guard as they bask in false security..." __________________ The false security is believing that he is Jesus when in fact he is the other Jesus, the AntiJesus.. The next verse tells us how the Antichrist destroys many: __________________ [25] And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. __________________ Craft means deceit, which he shall cause to prosper in his hand. And many will help him prosper with their hands, which is what having the "mark in their right hand" means... doing the work of Satan. He shall destroy many by PEACE! The "little horn", the "king of fierce countenance", the "king of Babylon", the "Antichrist" (all the same entity, Satan), enters in PEACEFULLY and PROSPEROUSLY. He not going to go around killing people. He's much smarter than that. He's going to convince the world he's Jesus. And remember, the war that we are to prepare for by putting on the gospel armor (Eph 6) is spiritual not physical. Furthermore, there will be no nuclear holocaust as some "doomsday" preachers predict. The final events will happen exactly as they are written in Ezekiel 38 and 39. So we are in for good times, peace and prosperity, brought to you by the New World Order under the leadership of the "slickest" of them all, the instead-of-Jesus, Satan himself.
