  1. Following Christ for many years, I find I gain so much more than what I have ever "given up". And the things that stand in the way of my relationship with God, I don't need to "try" because I will fail, I require, absolutely need His help through the process.
  2. Wanted to bump this up, so worth revisiting
  3. The smell thing is what I really want to avoid. The prep is the same for anything else, but I so dislike cooking smells.
  4. You would all starve, I have a frozen turkey, ketchup and milk.
  5. I have been interested in buying an Air Fryer for well over a year now. I want it mainly for non breaded chicken breasts, fish, hamburgers and vegetables. Does anyone have one? If you do, what are the pro's and con's especially the cons. What wattage is best? Brand? Easy to clean? I have had gadgets in the past like a table top grill and rarely use it because it's more difficult to clean.
  6. Hello and welcome to Worthy, such a difficult situation, praying God gives you the wisdom you are seeking.
  7. jade, I was having a rough morning and while lurking I read these posts, I want to thank you for taking the time to do these! They ministered to me!
  8. Hello and Welcome to Worthy!
  9. Exodus 20:16 16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour <--- I personally consider this lying jeff
  10. I believe lies are man-made. God looks upon the heart and judges the heart. Apparently God when looking upon the hearts of the women you quoted, He saw no sin.
  11. Because He lives I can face tomorrow!
  12. Bopeep This Got Questions mob has got you into a trance. Ezra has shown you from God's very own word all the contradictions and you are blocking your ears to the Word of the Lord. Please think on this that everything taught must harmonise with scripture. There can be no contradictions. If there are contradictions in doctrine and we are made aware and ignore, then we will be one of those who have no love for the truth. This is serious sister, don't take it lightly. 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: It's very dangerous not to read the bible for ourselves, because then we cannot compare truth with error. You are trusting them with your whole heart and soul. I do not say this to bring you down but to guide you and remind you that Jesus said we have to feed on his flesh only. That means go directly to his Word and he will feed you. It's ok for us to ask questions if we are stuck, but search the scriptures first, then weigh everything out. Trust Christ that he can feed you, he promised us that he would. John 6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. I am so thankful for this post Sister! "It's very dangerous not to read the bible for ourselves, because then we cannot compare truth with error. You are trusting them with your whole heart and soul."

  15. Seyi, When you do an image search for animals, you get things that have been altered by photo shop. If you have never seen the original animal to base the false photos on, you are deceived. Women all the time photo shop their photos to have amazing and vivid blue or green eyes, make it a little blurred to not show age (I personally like that one) It is deception when used to attract or lure a mate. If you don't know what's truth, you are deceived. I know these are small things.. but as the years go on it's more and more acceptable. The frog in the cold water that is heated up slowly never jumps out, it gets to boiling and is dead, never sensing the danger. Men don't know if a woman they are attracted to was born a woman anymore. If it's like that now, just think what the future holds for our young ones. When I was a young girl, dying the hair a different color than what you were born with was not encouraged and even frowned upon.. hair color is so not an issue, but that hasn't been all that long ago. Our culture has become accepting to so many things. On Facebook, false "News" and gossip is constantly posted and it spreads like wildfire. I remember wanting a toy as a child and getting the toy that was advertized. When my daughter was young, the ads for toys were so hyped up and the product was never "as good as they said."
  16. I feel sorrow for the youth of today. We are living in a world of deception. When I wanted to research a subject for school, I had encyclopedias. Today with photo-shopping you simply cannot tell what is real. The newspapers and the evening news reported the news. Today you can find a news agency that supports your beliefs to give a very biased slant on any subject. How will the history books of the future be written? Who will be the heroes that are portrayed? Think about the subjects of today that have made headlines, they will one day be taught to our grandchildren and great grandchildren.
  17. I agree. They can be very lovely, but for family only and tastefully done!
