  1. http://hebronchurch.co.uk/sermons.php Try the "Do we keep God at arms length" talk by Chris Railton (For background the speaker is a university professor in an Engineering Department with a Physics phd. Not on a science topic though)
  2. You can find more information here. http://www.facebook.com/sarahinkenya?notif_t=fbpage_fan_invite
  3. I hope people have had or made time to listen to the talks, as they are a real blessing and very instructive.
  4. if you look at the second and third one down, they are entitled Ministry to Kenya. They form an interesting talk about somebody's trip there.
  5. Worth listening to the Ministry to Kenya talk on here. http://www.hebronchurch.co.uk/sermons.php
  6. Try listening to the one about Blessed are the pure in heart all the way through. http://hebronchurch.co.uk/sermons.php
  7. See attached link http://www.hebronchurch.co.uk/sermons.php I would recommend the on by Chris Railton called The Character of God from 23 January 2011. The preacher is a physicist by training, and a professor in the Engineering Department of Bristol University.
  8. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/a.long316...jpg&.src=ph Some pictures to praise the Creator for. Click on the link and "view slideshow"
  9. The only of the chocolate firms listed above I have heard of in UK is Green & Blacks. They are owned by Cadbury's, one of the biggest confectionary companies here, which had it's roots in a Quaker family. Back in there earlier days, they were renowned for care for their employees, and building good quality houses for them to live in with parks and greens spaces etc.
  10. I often mean to start talking to them about Jesus on the basis that they started taking up my time, so i can take up theirs. Usually end up politely saying I don't have time.
  11. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/a.long316...m/ph//my_photos Here are a few of mine. The first three are of Bristol Cathedral, which was built between 1150 and 1888. I remember about 15 years ago being prompted to go there early one Sunday afternoon. It was empty of people, and as I walked through the door, I immediatly felt surrounded by God's prescence. The next picture is of the very first Methodist Church in the world. John Wesley preached regularly from that pulpit. The next picture is of Wells Cathedral. This is followed by Pensford Church. which has a river diverted around it on either side, so is in effect on an island. The bridge is the point where the strands of the river meet up. The final pictures are of St Hugh's Charterhouse, which is halfway between Cheddar Gorge (where the cheese originally came from), and Burrington Combe, where the hymn Rock of Ages was inspired. There are no houses around this, and it was built around 1900 for a mining community on the Mendip Hills, Somerset, England.
  12. It's about 5-6 miles. I passed a lot of people. The bit by the river is a cycle path also, so a lot of people riding cylists were there.
  13. Went for a two hour walk yesterday, and thought I would share some pictures with you. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/a.long316...jpg&.src=ph
  14. Have just come back from a walk, and thought I would share something of God's glory with you. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/a.long316...jpg&.src=ph
  15. Hopefully rising prices will stop people using so much fuel. The way things are going, it will be possible to fry an egg on ones head before long with global warming. On the other side of the pond in England, it is noticably warmer in summer, and I can't remember snow hanging round for more than a few hours for 15-20 years, which was quite common during my childhood.
