  1. If you saw The Bible Series on History its from that. They are not putting Satan in this because of the fact it looks like our President.
  2. From the Rich Mullins Film FB page The family of Rich Mullins is pleased to announce that he will be inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in April. Rich Mullins was tragically killed in Sept of 1997 in car accident. He is best remembered for "Awesome God" , "Elijah, "Sing Your Praise to the Lord",etc

  5. Yeah its a cult as stated before I posted the article
  6. This is actually a cult in Rutherford County,NC (where I am orginally from) http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/22/north-carolina-man-word-of-faith-fellowship-confinement-gay_n_2001895.html
  7. From live action news Desperate move by one Planned Parenthood clinic to make abortion into something it is not: A local Planned Parenthood abortion business in California is copycatting the 40 Days for Life campaign, which recently resulted in saving the lives of more than 700 unborn children from abortion. The abortion business has set up its own 40 Days of Prayer for the local abortion center. [steven Ertelt] On one level, I guess this makes sense – proponents of abortion, after all, have to force themselves into believing that abortion is actually a “good” thing, otherwise how could they continue doing what they do? This so-called “40 Days of Prayer Supporting Women Everywhere” was organized by the Humbolt County Clergy for Choice (pictured at right), which bills itself as “an official committee of Planned Parenthood.” Planned Parenthood has attempted to recruit pro-abortion clergy in the past. The flyer they are distributing to promote their campaign (pictured below) includes a phone number to contact the Six Rivers Planned Parenthood abortion clinic. Talk about the wrong answer to a prayer: You can see the full version of the flyer in PDF format here. Every Day includes a “meditation” promoting abortion, “choice,” etc. The whole thing does actually provide a somewhat interesting insight into the minds of abortion proponents and how they view the world. For instance: Day 6: Today we ask for blessings upon the women who pass through hostile protestors on their way into an abortion clinic… [When was the last time you saw a "hostile" protestor outside an abortion clinic? 40 Days for Life Promotes prayerful witness!] Day 9: Today we pray for women who are afraid of their lovers. [And abortion is supposed to be the solution?!] It’s also pretty clear that around Day 25, they started running out of things to say and started repeating themselves. For instance, Day 4 is basically the same intention as Day 27. And then, some are just plain weird: Day 30: Today we pray for women to throw away their secrets and claim their histories with power and truth. [Wha?!] Day 38: Today we pray for a cloud of gentleness to surround every abortion facility. May everyone feel calm and loving. [That's never an emotion I've seen associated with abortion!] Bottom line: this is a desperate attempt to take advantage of the wild success and growth of the 40 Days for Life campaign. But you can’t take the same “techniques” and get the same result when you are trying to twist them for an evil purpose. So we know that their 40 days of “prayer” for abortion is going nowhere, just like their pro-abortion agenda. If anything, this may backfire because it forces people to confront how ridiculous it is to pray for more unborn children to be killed. Now if people were to have such a realization – that would be an answer to a prayer!
  8. I would get a new counselor that is just me. You and your wife need to work out your problems together. I would maybe go to a Christian marriage counselor to help on working together. Will keep ya in my prayers though
  9. From the Shelby Star . http://www.shelbystar.com/news/help-51939-dirt-person.html Yes this is my pastor of the church I attend
  10. True but he is also contradicting himself as well because he told leaders (that are married) that if they don't delete their accounts then they will lose their leadership. I agree that FB is just a tool. I have a FB account and married and I am responsible enough to know what boundaries not to cross. My huisband has a FB account as well and I trust him to do the same.
  11. We have been discussing this on Wed night about how the church has adapted to the worlds system and that we need to be right w/God,dress right and such. Thats why people won't come to church now because the church has almost made it like you have to be perfect to walk in the those doors or they will look down on you. I believe you should wear (as long as its descent and clean)what you want you. You are not there to impress anyone and basically thats whats being done in church because you wear nice things because people will talk about you if you don't.
  12. The church I attend help the homeless on Sun. they get breakfast, shower (if needed),clothes, and the word of God and then lunch afterwards. I believe to me that if we show kindness to them by helping them even though it maybe not much. *not saying give them money* and then they will also see the love of Jesus in us and maybe it will touch there heart and want that what we have which is to show the love of Christ. Just because they look different and maybe not in the same class we are in doesn't mean we should treat them like outcast.
  13. If you are interested the church I attend (Christ for the Nations Shelby)there is a 4 wk class on soulwinning. If you are interested it will be on Wed. night @ 7pm. Course also if you are looking for a spirit filled church and would like to attend Christ for the Nations we have services @ 10 am on Sun. morning. We do not have Sun. night services yet but in the New year we hope to. Come be apart and help harvest souls in 2007 by using practical skills to help others come to Christ! If you want to ask me questions about the church msg me and I'll answer them the best way I can. http://www.cfnchurch.org
