  1. There are many after effects of abuse and sexual abuse in the survivor, but the word "can't" is not in the vocabulary of one who is an overcomer in Christ. If you have received salvation, then you have a new destiny and a whole new paradigm: persevere, endure, and the Lord Jesus in you will give you His strength to do anything and everything you need to do and desire to do as He gives you that desire. Of course, homosexuality is not from God, but is an aberration that comes out of the trauma you have experienced. Satan wants to destroy you and this is one way he can do so. Once you recognize this, then set about defeating him in your life. Don't roll over and let him do this to you! God loves us and is our healer, and that means healing from psychological trauma as well. His Spirit in us acts like Nehemiah in the Bible, seeking out the broken down walls and rubble of our "city" and determining how to rebuild and sets about doing it. We need to seek His help and allow His work in us. I have a wonderful, God-inspired book for you if you wish to have it, that will take you through your painful issues and set you on a new course of healing and wholeness. Just PM me.
  2. The simple answer is that no, it is not OK in any way, shape or form to engage in homosexuality. The notion that you cannot "get close to a man" is a false one. You were created to couple only with a husband. Such a mindset that is averse to the opposite sex is a dysfunction that Jesus died to free you from. God has a wonderful, personal plan for your life. Seek Him earnestly and He will be found by you. Jeremiah 29:11-14a For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13 If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. 14 I will be found by you,” says the Lord .
  3. No one is strong enough to handle everything. That is why we need God to fight our battles for us. He loves you and wants to make you an overcomer. Place your faith in the one who took the punishment for your sin, and be united to the King of the universe who can be counted on to take up your fight, your cause---JESUS!
  4. All throughout scripture we find many prophecies that are dual---a near fulfillment and a far fulfillment. Jesus in this passage is speaking a dual prophecy.
  5. Of course Jesus is on earth when He rules from Jerusalem in the Millennium. That is His time to be the earthly King. It's all scriptural, and there should be no misunderstanding it. It is one promised era of 1000 years out of eternity. Jesus will sit on the throne of DAVID. Isaiah 9:7 There shall be no end to the increase of His government and of peace, [He shall rule] on the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From that time forward and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this. Isaiah 16:5 A throne will be established in lovingkindness, And One will sit on it in faithfulness in the tent (dynasty, family) of David; Judging and seeking justice And being prompt to do righteousness. Luke 1:32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David.
  6. Oh yes! It may take most of eternity to count them, though!
  7. Dictionaries are just secular things and do not all reflect the spiritual truths we hold.
  8. I know. I see these kinds of announcements on Facebook a fair amount from unbelievers, such as, "Heaven has another angel today..." I just cringe at the scraping around that people do for the lack of real hope in them. It's sad to see.
  9. Yes, I do, and I have a relationship with Jesus Christ. I do not ascribe to religion.
  10. Haha! Who's Joe, angels4u?? (Love you, btw!)
