  1. the management company said that they like to keep the same people, but who knows if it will sale, surely not anytime soon. I think that they will see him as an asset. but you both are right, if something happens, God will provide. Thanks so much
  2. I feel like God will take care of us and I have faith to believe He will. I just have a concern that this complex that my husband works for allowed us to move from out of state then less than 6 months later filed bankrupcy and the bank has it with a management company taking care of it. I feel that the people who hired my husband knew prior to this, but they said they were caught of guard as well. Now, with the management company helping out, I'm concerned that eventually they will sale and my husband will be out of a job. I don't have any negative feelings, but I am concerned since we have 2 children that would have to be uprooted should it come to lossed jobs-if a new owner decides to clean house. Finances are good and I will be putting a large amount into savings very soon. Is there any advice that anyone who has went through anything like this or anyone who has advice in what we should consider?? I can't believe that they had the biggest article in our area newspaper, my husband is very good at his job and I pray that he will continue to have favor with them. (It has been such a blessings since we have been home near my folks) Thanks your sis candi770
  3. Prayer is most important and is not a lite thing, it is very important, just as well as you are-very important to the body of Christ. Pray about it and see what the Lord does.
  4. I don't hate her, but I sure don't trust her enough to run a country-her husband failed-why would I think she would do any better: here is a good reason why: http://www.nohillaryclinton.com/2007/12/11...ys-glass-house/
  5. boy do those guys like to debate-they sure come back for more!! Gotta love um'!!
  6. If god created us then all we have in us.is from God..including our intelligence..why is it anymore evil for a man to use his intelligence to create a life saving device such as a defibrilator..than it is for a man to discover the process that lead from ape to man...whch has brought about some of the greatest cures to human diseases in history. For example a new treatment for AIDS which has great hopes for complete success and curing AIDS patients of their disease is based 100% on the theory of evolution..I would say that GOd gave Darwin a pat on the back God gave us the ability in science, but never expected up to find ways to disprove that he created the world-that is what the devil did!
  7. It's just prove that Doctors don't know everything.
  8. You know, they had warnings, they were told what not to do and they did it. It's the same as our justice system, yet his ways are better than ours. I'm so thankful for my father, He warned me once when I was not being obedient, he told me what would happen if I continued-he always kept his word. I can remember when something happened the first time in our house-because we saw what happened when you crossed the line. I think God does the same thing but much better, they knew what was right and wrong, they were told the consequences and they did it anyway-what would they expect-they saw it happen to others. this song came to my heart: blessings candi
  9. I love cheapskates!! I love to save money! But at least I don't make my neighbors mad. that is so funny!
  10. I love when the Holy Spirit puts words in our mouth!!
  11. It really depends on who it is that dies, when I'm not real close to the person, I try to be as supportive as possible to the family of the deceased. When people are close to me, it's really hard. I mean, when my 24 year old brother was murdered-it wasn't good, it was sudden, unexpected, I can't even remember the funeral much other than the viewing- wanting him to open those eyes-he had these long eyelashes and the air conditioner was moving them-I kept thinking-get up, get up. It's hard to believe that was 17 years ago. Thank God he was a christian. I can look back on good times now-but then, no a 24 year old is not supposed to die and I shouldn't have had to see my momma and daddy suffer so. But I remember when we gathered for my brother that a cousin ask to take me on a 4 wheeler (I was 20 years old-she was 15 or so) It's like I didn't realize I was on the thing until she made me think she was goin to run into somebodies car-man did I want off that thing. In the past, with our relatives who lived in Georgia-everyone brought food for the family and back then we were kids, so all the kids got to play together-we didn't really understand death. I remember my brothers/cousins telling me that they would let me play in the camper with them if I went and got everyone's food and drink-then they requested dessert-boy was I excited-then when they were done-they left and I was all alone-those mean boys!!! But I don't remember a "party" atmosphere. The only time I think I was more "at peace" at a funeral was when my Grandmother had died, she had the month prior experienced a near death and was extremely mad that the doctor brought her back-she told us this when we were visiting over the weekend-when we got home sunday night-they called to say she died, we knew she had been ready.
  12. Shalom Candi, Honey, WHAT are you talking about? Not all Christians do these things--
  13. Can we judge all christians in this manner?? Why do people do it- Because they're stupid-I will be accountable for myself and no other in this matter-and as far as the true body of Christ-they don't walk in this manner. I don't either. Please, could you consider edifying posts about Christians???
  14. Be blessed that your pastor thought so highly of you, You know you hardships-but you also know the one with the answers-accept these blessings when they come-and tell say-Glory to God!-For all those Good things the Lord is working in you-it is awesome that you seek the Lord and you pray for others. Yes, continue to pray for those who pop in your mind. We all go through seasons in life, when we don't feel so spiritual, but sometimes, we must press in-believe me you will be blessed when you seek his face. It takes time to grow in the Lord and we have to learn patience along the way. Do you know who you are "in Christ", look at my signature line and click onto that-those are awesome scriptures who tell you who you are In Christ-it only matters what the Lord thinks of you. People will recognize you by the fruit that you bear. If it is in God's plan for you to be a pastor-it will happen by His hand, He will equip you, so rest and realize it is not something you have to work out, but something He will prepare you for-just remain in Him. Continue seeking Gods face. God doesn't alway use those who the world would use-He seeks after those to show His Glory through-so that they see Christ in you and not the man. blessings candi
  15. Because they are sold out to it, think about it, it's taught in the schools, universities, it's everywhere. It is convenient for them to think they can disprove that God created the earth and everything in it. It keeps them safe within their own "click". But I wonder what Darwin thought when He faced God, and I would have loved to hear what God said to Darwin.
