I have posted about this in the prayer section but thought I'd mention it here as I need all the advice, prayer I can get. I have a young Christian friend online who is a bit like a daughter to me, partly because she is in some ways very vulnerable. Anyway my friend has made another friend online who is a Wiccan or at least interested in Wicca. I feel this new "friend" is leading my friend astray and getting her into the occult. I have tried talking to her about it but she won't listen and tells me I am worrying about nothing. However her best friend offline has told me that all our friend wants to do is talk to this new "friend" all the time and is drifting away from her and her other Christian friends. I am praying for her protection and pleading the Blood of Jesus over her but would greatly appreciate any more advice as it is obviously a case of spiritual warfare.

Well I didapologise repeatedly and she did say she forgave me. However we had another blow up last week and she and that other girl said something really hurtful to me. In fact I nearly dropped them as friends altogether until we had a good talk. Things are a lot better now but there are still wounds that need healing. Also I don't like this other girl very much as she's a bit of a trouble maker and IMO me and this other girl would have made things up a lot easier and quicker if she hadn't been poking her nose in. The thing is she is my friend's friend so I have to put up with her. My friend is a lot nicer when she is not around but when she is my friend starts being a bit witchy (I don't want to use the real word that sounds very like "witchy"!) in the same manner as this girl. I know that sounds a bit unChristian but please pray that God will help me to love this girl as Christ would have me love her.

That's easy to say as I can't even get to speak to her now as she's never online when I am. I spoke to her on Thursday and she seemed a bit cool towards me though she denied this. She says not to feel guilty or to hate myself but hcw can I not when she told me she loves me but "doesn't like me sometimes" when only a few months ago she told me what a wonderful friend I was. So it's obvious she is turning against me. How can I like myself if my own friends don't like me! I really wish I could get her online and have a really good talk to her but I can't.

3 days ago I had a huge row with an online friend and it was all my fault. I have apologised but still feel she is being a little bit off with me. I keep telling her I'm sorry and she says she forgives me and denies she still holds a grudge but I'm not sure if that's the case. You see when I told her I was sorry she said she would "get over it eventually" and that she could "forgive but not forget". I've spoken to her since and while she is cordial there is not the same warmth that there used to be. However I'm worried that it will take a very long time for her to be completely healed. I mean what is "eventually" that could mean anything from a few hours to several years! I know she can't forget in the sense that she can't wipe the memory completely from her mind. However if she is still feeling sore at me how can she forgive me completely. What made it worse is that a mutual friend of ours was there at the time and I said "I don't think Marissa will ever forgive me" and this girl replied "Can you blame her?" What makes it especially bad is that Marissa was full of flu at the time (which makes me feel even worse for hurting her when she was ill). She is getting better now but she is tired all the time and sleeps all the time during the day which is when I am online. I live in the UK and she lives in the US and I don't have a home PC to talk to her so am unable to talk to her when she is on at night US time. The thing is unless we can get talking normally again I don't feel our relationship will heal properly. I've prayed and prayed about this but can't seem to get any peace. I even pray she will come online when I am on but my prayers are never answered. Please pray for the situation and any advice would be very much appreciated. By the way everyone concerned is a Christian.

When I clicked on the "Animals/Pets in Heaven" link I got a message saying basically that the thread/topic did not exist!

No way are the people who do this "fundamentalist Christians". This article seems to be another attempt by the media to slander Christians. It is especially worrying if Scotland Yard are accusing Christians of these atrocities but sadly it wouldn't surprise me as the UK police force have been hijacked by certain antiChristian, social engineering factions as is seen by the increasing number of cases of police harrassing Christians for speaking out against abortion, homosexuality etc.

The trouble is the environmental movement is knee deep in New Age ideology. Many environmentalists actually worship "mother" earth as a goddess called Gaia (sp?). Also the environmentalist movement is proabortion and pro-population control and actually puts animals and even plants on the same level (if not higher than human beings). Also while there are serious environmental problems I have heard it said that a lot of them are exagerrated by the "Green" movement. I must emphasise that I'm talking about the movement in general NOT individual people. For the record I try to recycle as much of my rubbish as possible.

But Terri Schiavo is NOT in a "vegetative state" as she is responsive to her surroundings. If you go to her parents site www.terrisfight.org you can download a film of her responding to her parents. Also she is not "hooked up to machines". A feeding tube is NOT a life support system.

Fasts, even hunger strikes, often are self-imposed for periods of time. However, no one in his right mind passes up fluids. Death by dehydration is a painful, agonizing and arduous process that takes 10 to 14 days. In addition to feeling the pangs of hunger and thirst, the skin, lips and tongue crack. The nose bleeds because of the drying of the mucus membranes. Heaving and vomiting may ensue because of the drying out of the stomach lining. The victim may experience seizures. As the fluid level in the body goes down, the blood pressure goes down and the heart rate goes up. Respiration often increases as blood is shunted from the periphery to the central part of the body in a desperate attempt to sustain the primary organs. The hands and feet become extremely cold. Compared to starvation and dehydration, death by hanging, firing squad, even the electric chair seems humane. What kind of country imposes such a death, even on those guilty of the most heinous crimes? Look in the mirror! We the people of the United States of America now are guilty of allowing this kind of death sentence to be carried out

A feeding tube is NOT a life support machine. All it is is a glorified drinking straw. Terri is not dying she is just severely disabled. Removing her feeding tube would not be "allowing her to go home to be with the Lord". It would be COLD BLOODED MURDER!!! Starvation is a horrible way to die that involves, nausea and convulsions among other symptoms. If someone was to starve an animal to death they would be prosecuted and rightly so. It is not a "natural" way to die. Also such a horrible death would not be considered fit for a serial killer on death row. So why is it right for an innocent human being. Terri Schiavo has committed no crime (unless you consider being disabled a crime!) Also it is her husband (who I may add has 2 children by a mistress and stands to gain financially on his wife's passing) that is saying she wants to die NOT Terri herself. Also what gives us the right to say that severely disabled people are "better off dead"?

I haven't read all the posts on this thread so forgive me if I go over old ground. I believe having homosexual feelings while far from ideal is not sinful as that is just the temptation. However it is when you give in to the temptation that it becomes a sin. Also while homosexuality is a sin I doubt if it is worse in the eyes of God than fornication or adultery. It sounds a cliche but we need to love the sinner while hating the sin.

Well I'm British and a staunch supporter of Israel. Sad to say I have no trouble believing this of my fellow Brits Over here it is not just the liberals and "Leftys" who hate Israel. Indeed some otherwise decent conservative newspapers like the "Daily Mail" have recently adopted an anti-Israel, anti-US, anti-Bush stand.
