On Jack Van Impe this past Sunday December 14, 2008 [7:00 A.M. on broadcast Channel 45 CW here in Schenectady,NY] Jack said to invite all to next week's show. He said the revised Catechism [by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger before he became Pope Benedict XVI] now agrees 100% with Jack's teachings on The Second Coming of Jesus Christ. I think tons of Cardinal Ratzinger re theology and going 100% by Word of God/Holy Bible and was so glad when he was made Pope. Yeh, when I was first born again in 1980 "learned" Pope was antichirst, Roman Catholicism was (censored), pre-tribulation Rapture was going to hit in September 1981 on Rosh Hoshana. Lot changed. I see. Those are good points. Can you explain to me what the verses that state we will "meet HIM in the air" mean? From what I read around the verses you quote, this takes place after the 1000 years of peace. Where are all the dead in CHRIST and the believers before the New Jerusalem comes down? So are we going to leave in the pre-trib rapture or the mid-trib rapture or the post-trib rapture or maybe the mid-millenial rapture or the post-millenial rapture or the half time at Super Bowl LVXXXIII? The whole conversation is a waste of constructive time. It distracts christians to go down rabbit trails that lead to a dead end after an entire lifetime of error. Far too many christians are basing their lives on a philosophy instead of a person. They are planning their future around a fairy tale theological scenario instead of dying daily and occupying the Kingdom. Make sure you are all in the whole armour of God:Ephesians 6:10-18. As we all know we should be. The Word of God and THE Holy Spirit have for decades strongly warned me of the MASSIVE DECEPTION that is both here and coming. One ministry I receive excellent information from discussed the Days of Noah that Jesus instructed about [see Genesis 6:1- and elsewhere-violence filling the earth, corruption, evil continually...] in Matthew 24 and elsewhere. Consider that the spirits back then are here today, so they know what the Days of Noah were like. Add to this false Christs, false prophets, lying spirits,Satan/devil directly, fallen angels, spirits of antichrist,... Then add strong delusion from THE LORD GOD Himself as 2 Thessalonians 2:3- warns about. So-my point: Much solid Biblical scholarship needs to be considered from multiple sources before , in my spiritual judgment, one states even a reasoned spiritual view of "The Rapture". Please all always be open to THE TRUTH that Jesus and The Holy Bible promise {e.g. John 14-John 16 and...}. From THE Spirit of Truth, THE Holy Spirit. Consider how much the following removal of the tares resembles what some have taught that "The Rapture" would be like, and that "The Rapture" is future, and that "The Rapture" starts the 7 year Tribulation, and ... The Holy Bible and God The Father and His Son Jesus Christ have basically been jettisoned by the visible Church. "Dialogue" is the rule . Finding myself hard-pressed to not conclude that THE LORD GOD is truly ending this. Title of this chain/thread comes from an article by Leonard Ravenhill from decades ago. Specifically treatment of prisoners at Guantanamo by the USA. As you all know who have been following the world news ever since 9/11, the USA {CIA, military} has tortured prisoners, had them sent to foreign countries for "rendition" [since the countries did not have USA "laws" re forbidding torture]. Then lied repeatedly about doing that, and had foreign heads of state lie to try to support those lies. Then admissions that these were lies. The "outing" of an undercover CIA agent, Valerie Plame, is/was treason, straight and simple. Years of "investigations" and cover ups. The super straight-shooting Patrick Fitzgerald charged with getting to the bottom of this got "Scooter" Libby convicted of perjury. No one has been charged with treason and, apparently, the "investigation" is over. These are facts as best as I believe. If I am wrong, PLEASE feel more than free to correct me. Anytime. Add these to the prior facts I have given in posts in this chain and those I would believe you all probably know about just from following secular news. You all have been very reticent.
