I can totally relate, LK. Worthy is not the same place it used to be and I no longer post or read here very often. Wjen a forum no longer 'fits' then it's best to move on. I hope you work it out though.

If you can't give an example of what Hannity lied ABOUT then you are simply a clanging cymbal that no one will listen to. Not sure what the word 'gosipe' even means.

I guess I just didn't think this day would come but, now that it has, it makes me very unhappy. I've been a regular poster on this site for nearly 12 years and seldom has a day gone by when I didn't spout some opinion here or rant about something. Time has come for a change though. This site no longer 'fits'. Times change and so many are gone. There are several of the old guard still here and I'm going to miss y'all. I am not going to miss the rubbish I've been wading through this past year though. I may be back in the future, who knows?=Until then, keep the faith.

There are a lot of homeless here in Houston but NOT like California. This is a city of over six million people so...I guess it's not too bad here. Housing is much cheaper here too.

It's not just disability though, Tigger. It's food stamps, welfare, free phones, etc. that are ridiculously easy to get for people fully able to work but don't want to. Yes, Dems offer free stuff....only someone has to pay for it. Like the twenty something surfer in California who is drawing food stamps...it's costing a lot through fraud and taking away from those who really need it. The funds are not limitless.

But that's not the point, Tigger. You are entitled to disability because of your condition. The sad truth is that some take advantage of these programs when they are quite able to work.

Maybe its just me but I shy away from questions like this. It's something that should be directed to a doctor. I doubt if anyone here is qualified to answer although we all have opinions, for sure.

Just my opinion, LK, but the Lord doesn't require us to deny ourselves everything. You will feel much more charitable toward others if you are good to yourself. As for your step daughter, if she is healthy and able, there are LOTS of jobs out there. A thirty year old should be independent. We are to hlp our children if need be but not enable them. It[s bad for THEM..

You can say this as often as you'd like and you may even believe it but I know Catholics personally and they DO have statues of Mary in their homes, they DO pray to her for intercession and they DO pray the rosary beads. They also pray to various saints and attend confession where they believe they receive forgiveness from a priest. All of this is FACT and there is no denying what any of us can observe with out own eyes. God won't mind me telling the truth, Patrick. That's what He's all about.

Even though everyone KNOWS they pray to Mary and worship her as 'Queen of Heaven', Catholics will deny this until the cows come home. I have been to Catholic mass and have seen it with my own eyes. Still they deny.
