  1. I understand, you may have a valid reason why you withdraw from people, you have had deep emotional trauma starting very early in childhood. I just want you to know that you are safe here, you can post and no one really knows who you are and their are rules that don't allow someone to belittle another poster. There are tender-hearted loving people here, please feel safe here.
  2. In Biblical typology, water stands as a type of God's word. So, the first reference shows the word of God as washing of water. The second reference states clearly that it is the word that saves us, therefore, "we must be born again of water (God's word) and Spirit....".
  3. The water is the word of God: Ephesians 5 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 1 Peter 1 23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
  4. Haggis is organ meat grinded up in a casing, I get it. I am down with organ meat, I will eat chicken kidney's and liver; the chicken liver is really strong, but I like it. I have yet to eat any heart's or brain's, but I am open to the idea. cool
  5. You are not alone, several members suffer from similar illness', as I do. We stand by you to support you, encourage and to comfort you, but most importantly tp pray for you, to bring your needs to the Father who loves you unconditionally. Let me strongly empathize, you are not alone, you have The Lord Jesus Christ who wants to envelope you in his loving arms and you have us. So, look up and be encouraged.
  6. What is haggis? I know what Bangers are? lol I think the Independence fever has reached wild fire status.
  7. Posh posh, no indeed, Worthy welcome honest seekers. Welcome.
  8. I have indeed heard of honor killings, which mainly occur due to differences in moral values. It is quite prominent in the Middle Eastern and certain South Asian countries. It is something I definitely do not want to experience. Your fear is absolutely justified. I'll be honest - I'm not really keen on raising my children under the Islamic faith, but I would pick that over the choice of letting them go astray and turn to atheism and such. The last thing I want my children to believe is that God does not exist. My boyfriend and I haven't talked about this in detail, but I will when I have enough time to talk to him about it. Thank you and God bless! I hear you, and we must make our own decision, my decision, if I had had children would be that they would be Atheists rather than Islamic. Again, God bless!
  9. I don't know, Sister, I think that it is kinda of risky. What if he has radical Islam in his closet, near of kin. Have you heard of Honor killing, where if a man's daughter dishonors the family that he has the right and responsibity to kill her. Do you actually want your Children to be raised Islamic and not raise Christians, I know that he said he isn't interested in making converts. I just pray that one day you don't wish with every fiber of your being that you could relive this day. I fear for you and your parents, your boyfriend and his parents may not be a threat to life, but may be a threat culturally to your children raising them up to honor Allah. The decision and consequence's are yours, I say more, God bless you.
  10. I do hear you, brother, very much! A will address you in a Private Message. Perhaps, this should be moved to the private forum.
  11. Unbelievable! I am so sorry, and I feel for you so much. I am glad that you maintained your faith and integrity with God. I simply don't know what to say, words seem to fall short. I am glad that you came to this medium to receive love and support. Talking about your Job moment (Job in the Bible). Are you receiving any government assistance. I am so glad that you have The Lord. Good day!
  12. Hi and welcome Hannah. So, you don't live under their roof? It is evident that they are looking out for you and love you dearly. Islam and the Qur'an defines people who doesn't live under Sharia Law and the Qur'an as infidels, that is my opinion based on what I have learned. Islam and Christianity are diametrically oppose so is Middle-eastern and Western cultures. I can't offer much help, but if my daughter would come home and say something she is very much in love with a Islamic believing man it would be very disheartening to me to say the least. I believe you would have trouble plus grieve your parents. Sorry, that is my belief.
  13. I completely understand and thinking about it this morning, you should be very careful whom you tell, it could be the wrong choice.
