  1. Well as I was sitting in the psyche ward on November 8th 2002 at 11:00 pm. I was reading Psalm 119. And bam
  2. Greetings brother, I am for all forms of worship that are in spirit and truth to the Lord. Hardcore music is not my preference. I used to listen to heavy music, but over time my tastes have changed (a lot of it has to do my playing style. I play guitar). I used to have electric guitars and loud amps with all the kinds of effect. Overtime that changed. After saying that. Here is an observance of mine. Some who are against heavy music to the Lord merely do not like that type of music. One should not decide what is pleasing to God
  3. Joh 4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. Joh 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. KJV
  4. The biggest cause of atheism.... is Christians. That is why it is so important for one to have a personal relationship with Christ. It is not about the masses. It is about Him and you. Be Blessed be encouraged, know you are loved. Kenny J.
  5. Yes, we are to make a joyful noise unto the Lord, Sing, and praise him, shout, make melody to the Lord, we can do this in a Godly way, we do not have to imitate the world, sometimes scripture is taken out of context. It sounds to me like allmylove4u does not see beyond what has been said. Yes, legalism is a deadly disease, but remember God will not be mocked. YSIC Littlelite. Oh my dear sister I would not mock God (at least not knowingly). Jesus is very much the center of my life. "You say we do not have to imitate the world". I say we MUST not. Yes sometimes scripture is taken out of context. That is a fact. You say "It seems I do not see beyond what is being said". Please enlighten me. I say if someone wants to worship the Lord with an electric guitar, then by all means crank it up. I am a musician I write and play contemporary Christian music. I have had people tell me that God did not
  6. Rev 2:12 "To the angel of the church in Pergamum write: "This is the message from the one who has the sharp two-edged sword. Rev 2:13 I know where you live, there where Satan has his throne. You are true to me, and you did not abandon your faith in me even during the time when Antipas, my faithful witness, was killed there where Satan lives. Rev 2:14 But there are a few things I have against you: there are some among you who follow the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak how to lead the people of Israel into sin by persuading them to eat food that had been offered to idols and to practice sexual immorality. Rev 2:15 In the same way you have people among you who follow the teaching of the Nicolaitans. Rev 2:16 Now turn from your sins! If you don't, I will come to you soon and fight against those people with the sword that comes out of my mouth. Rev 2:17 "If you have ears, then, listen to what the Spirit says to the churches! "To those who win the victory I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give each of them a white stone on which is written a new name that no one knows except the one who receives it. Repentance is key. In the seven letters to the churches there is a definate theme... Repentant.
  7. Santa Claus is a variation of a Dutch folk tale based on the historical figure Saint Nicholas, a bishop from Turkey (then known as Myra), who gave presents to the poor. His charity became legend when a man lost his fortune and found himself incapable of supporting his three daughters, who would not be able to find husbands as they lacked dowries. This man was going to give them over to a life of prostitution; however, St. Nicholas provided them with gold, enabling them to retain their virginal virtues and marry. Sinterklaas in the Netherlands This inspired the mythical figure of Sinterklaas, the subject of a major celebration in the Netherlands and Belgium, Germany (where his alleged date of death, December 6, is celebrated the evening before on December 5), which in turn inspired both the myth and the name of Santa Claus. "Santa Claus" is actually a mispronunciation of the Dutch word "Sinterklaas" by the English settlers of New Amsterdam (later renamed New York). Whilst in those countries Saint Nicholas is celebrated as a distinct character with a religious touch seperate from Christmas Would you like me to now explain to you the Easter Bunny? Hope I did not ruin your Christmas. Have A Happy Day! Kenny J.
  8. Do sane people also desire to know something is not true before they disbelieve it? Insanity does not require a leap of faith either.
  9. When I first came to know Christ my friends instructed me to
  10. Close...one must know and embrace Jesus. Not the idea. The bible is full of mystery. I pray the scales fall from your eyes. Acually it is the opposite, we are not to be judgemental. However we may have discernment. I do not like you...................... I LOVE you and does He! I did not come to Christ until I was 31 years old. When I was first being witnessed to I fought it tooth and nail. I studied hard to prove these people wrong. And then the LIGHTS went on. YEAH!!!! Check this out. If you are so sure of your ideas this will not hurt you at all. Say something like..... Lord if this is real please come into my heart, so I may know you and your Son Jesus Christ. Have GREAT day!!! Kenny J.
  11. Isa 30:32 As the LORD strikes them again and again, his people will keep time with the music of drums and harps. God himself will fight against the Assyrians. This music mentioned here, is it love songs or war marches? Luk 7:32 They are like children sitting in the marketplace. One group shouts to the other, 'We played wedding music for you, but you wouldn't dance! We sang funeral songs, but you wouldn't cry!' Luk 7:33 John the Baptist came, and he fasted and drank no wine, and you said, 'He has a demon in him!' Luk 7:34 The Son of Man came, and he ate and drank, and you said, 'Look at this man! He is a glutton and wine drinker, a friend of tax collectors and other outcasts!' Luk 7:35 God's wisdom, however, is shown to be true by all who accept it." ______________________________________________________ Psa 32:11 You that are righteous, be glad and rejoice because of what the LORD has done. You that obey him, shout for joy! Psa 33:1 All you that are righteous, shout for joy for what the LORD has done; praise him, all you that obey him. Psa 33:3 Sing a new song to him, play the harp with skill, and shout for joy! Psa 68:3 But the righteous are glad and rejoice in his presence; they are happy and shout for joy. Psa 71:23 I will shout for joy as I play for you; with my whole being I will sing because you have saved me. Psa 81:1 Shout for joy to God our defender; sing praise to the God of Jacob! Psa 98:6 Blow trumpets and horns, and shout for joy to the LORD, our king. Psa 149:6 Let them shout aloud as they praise God, with their sharp swords in their hands Isa 12:6 Let everyone who lives in Zion shout and sing! Israel's holy God is great, and he lives among his people." Isa 42:13 The LORD goes out to fight like a warrior; he is ready and eager for battle. He gives a war cry, a battleshout ; he shows his power against his enemies. Isa 44:23 shout for joy, you heavens! shout , deep places of the earth! Shout for joy, mountains, and every tree of the forest! The LORD has shown his greatness by saving his people Israel. sa 49:13 Sing, heavens! shout for joy, earth! Let the mountains burst into song! The LORD will comfort his people; he will have pity on his suffering people. Isa 54:1 Jerusalem, you have been like a childless woman, but now you can sing and shout for joy. Now you will have more children than a woman whose husband never left her. I see a common theme here....SHOUT! Who is anyone to say what type of music is pleasing to God? It is not the instrument or the volume.. it is the HEART behind the worship. Worship in spirit and truth. Legalism is a deadly disease.
