Really? Have you ever heard of a musical artist who writes his own lyrics write something that he didn't come up with through personal experience? What about "Slim Shady"? What...? My point was, just because somebodys lyrics arent christian doesnt mean they arent nice people..there ARE nice non-christians out there.

ugh...ok I am only gonna say this one more time, you CANT just judge somebodys personality over some dumb music lyrics! I don't even listen to Ozzy but I don't make snap judgements about him just cause of the way he looks..until you people actually get to know him IN PERSON, don't be calling him a "Satanist" just cause of some dumb tv program you saw about him or w/e....

I USED to be a Christian for a few years..so my answer might not count but here it is anyway: One thing that troubled me was how could Christians be so sure that Christianity was the one true religion when every other religion was saying that their religion was the one true religion too..what if theyre right and we were wrong..ya i know it sounds kinda dumb but still it creeped me out.

IMHO, I don't agree with this theory, I have been listening to the same music for years and haven't changed a bit. How do you explain that? For example, I heard a song the other day bout stealin...did I go out and carjack someone? Nope.

My friend just said that he can't access the boards anymore, I think he was banned but he says he didn't do anything or break any rules. Can somebody explain? Maybe there was some mistake in the Worthyboards database? I even read all of his posts and they were all fine to me. WHAT?!?!?! I come back on this site after 3 months and people are accusing me again of being somebody else again. I am not "ThaGangsta", but it looks like you people banned him just for liking rap music? That's a horrible reason. Unban him.

People can listen to whatever music they want to. It's their choice, not yours.

Reading your post all of a sudden made me nervous. Really, sometimes I think I'm a Christian, and then I get this feeling I'm not a true one and it goes back and forth. How do I know?! I said that I believed in Jesus and confessed and did everything..but to some people here it seems that believing is not enough. You have to completely change in some, and I don't know how to do that. I was really serious when I first tried to become a christian..but then I drift away from christianity every couple months and it gets irritating. I end up always starting over! So really I'm just confused right now.

Well ladies and gentlemen, in a few days (June 9th, to be specific) it will be Slim's one year anniversary of joining this site. Heh, I've met several interesting people and have had many entertaining discussions on this site with you guys that I won't forget...Dr. Luke...BobTriez...IslandSouljah...and several others...good times...you guys are cool. Thank you all for your responses, but I do have some questions and comments.. I am not sure what you mean. I do believe everything about Jesus, and I accept it as the truth, if that's what your asking. As for my lifestyle..I don't know, I still swear and struggle with certain sins like everyone else...I'm not sure if I'm still the same as before I got saved, I never paid attention. But for some people it takes a long time to change, for some people it takes months, and for others it takes years. I think it is called sanctification, we work our whole lives becoming more holy. I do agree and believe with most of what u said though thanks
